“We love supporting our local businesses and love that nearly everything on the menu here is locally sourced. There are many positives for this restaurant, including warm & inviting service. The complimentary bubbly is also such a sweet touch! The ambience is unique and cozy so, overall, service is 10/10. I wish I felt differently about this next part, but I can’t say that the food is worth the price. It’s quite expensive for what it is. Nothing we received was bad by any means—it was good! But we had one entree (one of the cheaper options), two sides, two drinks, and spent nearly $200 after tip. In my opinion, charging $15 for a side of lightly seasoned roasted potatoes is too much, especially when the entrees easily run $60-80 by themselves. Plus, the average cocktail was $16. I would feel differently if everything tasted exquisite, but it all tasted good. Nothing particularly special, I hate to say. The spices in everything were conservative, and it seems that the majority of the flavor relies on the raw ingredients themselves. I applaud their choice of truly quality ingredients, but for the price we paid, I would expect a lot more flavor to be woven in via additional culinary choices.”

“My wife and I went to this restaurant today, after a great recommendation from one of my employees. This place is absolutely amazing! The food is fantastic, the atmosphere is wonderful, and the service is completely top notch! Literally better service than I have received probably ever, and we go to A LOT of restaurants. Literally, my wife’s napkin fell to the ground and after I picked it up, the lady who was the host to us seen it and brought her a new one. Drinks did not run dry, and every single member of the staff was helping out and conversing with us. The owner and chef even came out to shake my hand. What an absolute gem in Cincinnati. This is a place NOT to miss out on. And don’t forget to order the cornbread! Hands down the best I have ever tasted. We left and wished we were hungry again and could turn around and go back inside.”

“If I could give them even more stars, I would!! The owner, Mike himself, took care of us while we were there and he was amazing! So kind and kept us smiling during our entire meal! He was so sweet with my 18 month old daughter, even giving her some suckers and a gift certificate for next time. Not only was the service top notch, but the food was to die for! “We had dinner at the downtown location this evening to celebrate my son’s graduation from the military, and leaving to report to his first assignment. From the time we were seated, to the time we left, several staff members came over to shake his hand and thank him for his service, even the General Manager. We always receive exceptional care from any Jeff Ruby’s establishment, but are so grateful to our amazing server Peter along with all of the other staff who took the time to make our family feel so special. “A hidden gem on Garfield Place . We decided to throw out the Hyde park restaurants and try something new . The Mezze Board was fantastic with all of the Mediterranean dips and veggies , The Shrimp Cossoult is to die for . The braised lamb /risotta/feta explodes with every bite. The best of all is that it was our first time dining and and I felt like family with the service from Nimo and Bryce , Coming back next week for the Swordfish . 6 stars !!!!!”

“I ordered a Caramel Pound Cake for my Hubby’s birthday. We celebrated at Longhorn and everyone in the restaurant wanted a slice of that cake! It was moist, buttery, and delicious! We also had chocolate strawberries, and snickers strawberries. The strawberries were sweet, and we really enjoyed them. Our guest was amazed at the taste of all the desserts. I encourage anyone who needs a delicious dessert to order from Shanassweettreats. You will be happy you did! My Dad is 91 years old, he wants a Blackberry Cobbler. That’s my next order!!”

“We went here to celebrate my birthday and had an excellent experience. The atmosphere is fancy without being too pretentious (no dress code). The house made bread is very soft and pairs perfectly with the butter. I loved the burger and fries and my husband loved the lamb pasta. He is not a big fan of restaurants in general but even he said that he enjoyed this place. We would return and highly recommend.”
