“My husband and I visited 1st time last Friday evening. He ordered the Ruben, and I had the nachos. The menu had just about anything you wanted on it. We saw some pretty tasty looking steaks being served. The food was very good, the service was excellent and prices were reasonable.“

“We arrived at a quaint rustic household setting, complete with a small fireplace and all sorts of antique bric-a-brac. We were greeted immediately by one of the most personable servers/hosts I have encountered in a long time. She had something positive to say about every dish. For the appetizer, we ordered the Reuben bites, expecting the usual deep fried egg rolls filled with Reuben meat, and were pleasantly surprised by tiny handmade empanadas, of sorts, filled with hand smoked and carved Ruben meat, Swiss cheese, and sauerkraut, which was perfect. The corned beef in my wife's Reuben was lean and full of flavor, and our German potato salad was almost as good as what I make at home ;-)This was an extremely pleasant experience And it's a shame, really, since I live two states away. Clay Haus was a wonderful diversion from the usual restaurants. Absolutely recommended.“

“Family decided to try something new. Almost everyone decided to order the same thing: Cowboy Burger. I got mine without the onion rings, and it was still delicious. The starter we ordered was "Potato Kegs" or something. They're like loaded tater tots, you just have to try them yourself. 10/10 food. Now, the atmosphere: Our Waiter was nice, she decided to give us a discount because we waited an hour for our food (no, I don't remember her name.) Some guy said something and had to be reminded that kids were present lmao and my mom sang along to pretty every song that played over the speakers, and I'm Not even mad that I had to wait an hour. 10/10 atmosphere, would absolutely come here again.“

Luncheon Muncheon American • $

“Came in, was immediately greeted and got to choose our seats. The place was small, always has been, only four to five tables, but don't let it fool you. The owner waited on us, was very nice. Very perky southern girl, got our drinks first and then took our orders. We ordered Grilled Cheese w/bacon. Bacon is thick cut, but cooked well. I also got Mushrooms, Cheddar Broccoli bites, Mozz sticks, Mac n Cheese bites, a BLT, and Mushroom Swiss burger. It was all so good, and the waitress/owner was so attentive, made good conversation with customers, her mom/the staff was as well. Besides appearance, it has not changed much.My only regret is that I didn't tip, but I will make up for it next time!!Parking: lots of parking spots.Wheelchair accessibility: Gravel, so do so at your own risk“

Peachs Place Family Restaurant & Pizza American • $

“I grew up going to Peaches as kid after Sunday service. I have moved away over the years and every time I come home to Crooksville, I make sure to stop in and pick up a Stromboli and a piece of coconut cream pie. Hands down the best Coconut cream pie on planet earth, nothing compares. The Stromboli and Old gem sub is also fantastic. Love you Peaches!“
