Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken Reviews
I love this place but the last couple times have been a bit of a disappointment. first time we didn't get one of our sides, maybe 5 over cooked, dry dippers and hard biscuits. thought well everyone has an off day. Gave them another try today and chicken and wedges were very bland and the coating was falling off plus
wedges were tiny and biscuits were hard again.
update 7/24. Tried Lee's again today and my goodness was it AWESOME! Thank you Lee's for listening to...read full review
The new Jo Jo’s SUCK. I will never go back until the old ones come back.
Love the food, especially spicy dippers. We used to love the jojo's? What happened? The new ones are awful, small and have zero flavor?? Bring back the old jojo's, please!!

Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken offers delicious food with friendly and fast customer service. Vegetarian options like potatoes, green beans, and coleslaw are available, along with great biscuits. The restaurant is known for its affordability, with a 3 piece meal including 2 sides, a biscuit, and a drink costing just $7—about half the price of other places like KFC—and the food is said to taste better. Customers appreciate the good quality and larger portions compared to most nearby restaurants. The main part of the restaurant needs a little work, but many find it to be their favorite chicken spot. Inside, there are 7 tables for dining, though it can be quiet and a bit awkward, with people simply eating. Parking is small and can get busy. The menu has a wide selection, including chicken livers, baked beans, coleslaw, and chicken noodles, all enjoyed by visitors. Service is friendly, though staff may forget utensils, but they quickly fix the oversight. Kids enjoy the chicken strips, and many customers feel the food quality remains high despite some post-Covid price increases.
