“First of all, welcome to historic and homey! This place is our go to for some awesome pizza!!! They have a great selection of food and beers. The atmosphere, side conversations, and of course on the bartenders, MAGGIE, are absolutely something to experience. One app recommendation would be the hot pepper cheese balls! Also the pizza sauce is made with green peppers, so be prepared for flavor. This place is ALSO from 1945. So stop, love it, come back.“

“I grew up in the 70’s and 80’s, and I have been searching for a pizza shop that tastes like the Ole Days. The ones who used to make their own pizza sauce, and the crust was so good, that it made you crave more. I was told about Westgate in Boardman, so I gave it a try today. From the time I walked in, to the time I left, the gals working were very friendly and polite, and was very helpful with suggestions of things I would like to try out. Everything on the menu looked amazing. I went with a pizza with pepperoni, and 6 BBQ wings. I suffered on the way home to Leetonia, windows mostly up due to a rainy day, so got plenty of the smells of the pizza and wings on the commute. Once home, I was finally able to dig into. Words can’t describe how good the food was. The pizza was delicious just like the Ole Days, from the crust to the topping of cheese and fresh pepperoni. The wings were just as delicious. The sauce of both were spot on. The cheese on the pizza wasn’t heavy nor light, a perfect balance between the crust and sauce. So if you’re looking for a great place for pizza, subs, and wings. I’ll say the hardest part about eating here is not taking a nap afterwards, small joke. Very filling and definitely worth the drive and price. Thank you for the great experience. My #1 go to pizza shop now.“

“Usually friendly service, I'm not sure if the waitress was having an off day but I sat for 15 minutes before I was even asked if I was waiting on anyone or wanted a drink. I ordered an appetizer and it took 20 minutes. 3 couples who came in after me have already been served. I told her I wanted to order and she disappeared. I asked on the status of my appetizer when she reappeared and she said that takes 10 minutes. I said okay, it was at least 15 minutes ago. So far I've been here at least 35 minutes and have just ordered my pizza at 2:08pm. My pizza didn't arrive until 2:32 . The food is good but the service certainly doesn't match. I think in the future we will frequent another location.“

“i don't give many 5 star reviews but the fun pass is a hit for my high energy son. I still feel like taking out the animatronics was unnecessary. Also, the trampoline is nice but you need to figure out a way to add a skywalk with a ball pit attached. If you could add diet code red mountain dew or regular to your soda machines you might see us everyday 😅👍🏾“

“Great pizza! Sauce was very good and the pizza baked perfectly. Only downfall was the size of the pies. We're a family of 4 (two which are teens) and we had just enough ordering 2 pies. My fault was not asking the size. Also note, to get in to the pizza pickup spot, go to the bar entrance, ring the bell and when the door opens, go into the kitchen located on the left just as you walk in.“

“I am a regular and remember being there when a group kept asking for extra sauces. I am assuming this was Lauren Gordon who left a nasty review. The service is always a 10/10 no matter who is working there. The only times the kind workers “catch an attitude” is if you are incompetent or rude first. I remember this group sending someone up and being rude to the two employees who were up there and demanding more things. Rise Pies employees are the nicest people ever by far the best service. If you or your party don’t show them basic human decency then you have no right to write a false review. The food is fresh and delicious and the workers are extremely kind and talkative. Just do not be rude to them first, like Lauren Gordon’s party was.“

“Pizza was good. I ordered on line and it said my order would be ready in 20 to 30 minutes. I was at the pick up window in 30 minutes and was told it would be at least 20 more minutes. I left and returned in 20 minutes to get it. I think there might be a disconnect between the website and the store. They were obviously really busy. This has never happened before.“

“This is our go to Friday dinner. The service and employees are friendly and phenomenal. This is probably my favorite crust in the area. The Cocoas in Poland is by far my favorite and will not go to any of the others. Had Boardman before and it was burnt.“

“Had the pleasure of stopping in to deliver a package yesterday... the smell of great Italian food alone was enough to make me happy, but Brandi was kind enough to send me on my travels with a fresh slice with pepperoni... food while we're out on the road is greatly appreciated by myself and my fellow drivers... it's even better when the food is absolutely DELICIOUS!!! “We have been coming here for a number of years and have never had anything that was not delicious. The salad is fresh, the dressing is so good it requires bread to dunk in and eat.. The vodka sauce was something I tried last time we ate there and it was so good, it made my eyes roll. For such a small space there is always room enough to have a quiet meal and enjoy the best dining around.“

We throw some pieces into the toaster oven & cook it till the top & bottom gets extra toasty & crunchy brown!
