“First time having it because I never noticed it. So while doing laundry I walked in and ordered, smelled great! When me and my fiancé sat down and had a slice… amazing! 10/10 across the board! Better than wedge wood!!!

“The best and most affordable food in the Ohio Valley! Cinnamon "rolls" for .50 cents, meal worthy bread sticks $1.50, delicious pepperoni rolls for $3 and then there's the pizza! You can eat lunch everyday, not break the bank and enough options to never get burned out! If that's not enough, the people are great too!“

“Love Westgate pizza for party time…the Quad is always a pick for us. I love having different options when serving up plenty of guests. The veggie pizza & plain cheese pizza are 2 of my favs. Their sauce is delicious. Sometimes we order extra sauce to make it even more delicious. This is a thinner crust pizza so it will disappear rather quickly as it’s not heavy but again perfect when serving other food items.

Vegetarian options: Definitely try the veggie listed pizzas…they are delicious

“Meeting up with friends in Youngstown for the afternoon, we were hungry and looking for good food and a safe place to spend time together. (Both couples were in town from different neighboring states.) The Avalon Downtown came recommended on this site and by locals we spoke with. Both of our pizzas were tasty; lots of spinach on one, the other prepared half and half as requested. The signature chewy crust was darn good! While we felt pretty safe because we were able to sit at a table up front, behind us, every table was occupied and full, as was the bar seating, with nary a mask in sight. That said, coming in from a neighboring state, I never was able to determine the current Ohio state guidelines for capacity in restaurants and bars. If we find ourselves back in Youngstown, we wouldn't hesitate to go back to the Avalon Downtown! The pizza is terrific!!“

Family Loves the pepperoni rolls and meatball subs they offer and the pizza is so afforable compared to the other locations. The Boardman location offers wings which I heard are second to none.Definitely an Austintown staple that you have to try if in the area.

Parking: In a plaza so there's always a place to park. Multiple entrances so you won't be stuck on busy Mahoning Ave. Bus stop right on the corner so it's got public transit available.“

“Ordered a Brier Hill Pizza close to the time of their closing. They let me know they will be closing soon and that I needed to be there before that happened. Got there early got my pizza it was great. Don't usually wait till the last minute to order things so I was grateful that they wasn't mad but would not recommend you wait till the last minute

“Had a decently large order set up for a party and the gentleman who was working was great. I stopped in about an hour to an hour and a half before ny scheduled pick up and asked if it was possible to get it earlier. No big deal if not, I was already in the area for something else. Within about 20ish minutes he was finishing up my order without having to impact any other order. Food quality was good, cooked exactly as ordered and friendly service.“

“Nicolinii’s is a hidden gem. The ambiance is warm and inviting. It is suitable for a family gathering or a romantic dinner. The bread and oil are delicious. The first couple times we visited our oil was sprinkled with freshly grated Parmesan cheese. This last time we visited it was not sprinkled with freshly grated cheese. We were given a Parmesan cheese shaker which does not mesh well with the vibe this place gives off. I’m not sure what happened but they need to bring back the freshly grated Parmesan cheese. The salad was fresh and I always enjoy their homemade dressing. My meals have always been delicious. I enjoyed the chicken francaise my first couple times eating at the restaurant. This last time I tried a special and it was delicious. I do not remember the name but it had blue cheese, chicken and portabella mushrooms. The portions are huge! I would rather have less pasta and real grated Parmesan cheese.

This last time we ate at the restaurant I was disappointed we were not able to sit at a booth because they were closed off, the patio was a mess and there is a bunch of stuff stacked in a corner leading to the patio. Also, our waitress was really abrasive. So abrasive I felt uncomfortable. Overall, our meal was delicious and we will return.

“I would say get there early 4ish...food & service was wonderful...more than we could eat...extra food for daughter who worked late...our server Davidson was awesome,attentive, took very good care of us...Mgr walked over & asked how things were...everything was perfect...highly recommend...I had peppers in oil, salad, eggplant w/spaghetti...hubby had salad,pork chops w/baked potato & cheese cake...“

If I could make a suggestion get yourself a sausage pepperoni and cheese pizza cut up the little pepper you always get and toss it all over your pizza try dipping it in some blue Ranch if blue Ranch isn't your thing then you got to go with the papa butter

I was really impressed with a really short wait for pick up, the price was very reasonable and the pizza was amazing. Shame I live almost 2 hours away because I'd get from here more often. “This place, ahhhhh. What can I say about this fantastic place it is just so nice and amazing to even look at. My friend Hadi had suggested me to go to his parents restaurant. I came here and this stuff is actually so good. It is all very well cooked. Everything is nice and crispy my favorite is the Gyro. It is so nice and delicious. “I'm a former Ytown resident who came back to town for a visit. Hadn't been here in years. The updates they've made are nice, the service was good, and the food was just as amazing as it always has been. Those dinner rolls are incredible! Chicken parm was on point.“

“Predictable franchise food. Not saying it's bad, but I worked for them back in the 80's and the restaurants were large plus the dough wasnt frozen. Things taste different now. ( Its not because I'm older and have failing taste buds) I still like them over Dominos and Papa John's. Just nostalgic over the past.“
