“We were pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was nice, the restaurant was very clean. The wait staff was awesome and the food was piping hot, fresh, flavorful and delicious. The cocktail were awesome, highly recommend their Manhattan and Espresso Martini. The bacon jam appetizers was yummy! We each got a burger and the Mac and cheese side was creamy and rich!“

“If I could give them even more stars, I would!! The owner, Mike himself, took care of us while we were there and he was amazing! So kind and kept us smiling during our entire meal! He was so sweet with my 18 month old daughter, even giving her some suckers and a gift certificate for next time. Not only was the service top notch, but the food was to die for! We got specialty burgers and my daughter got chicken tenders, all of which were made fresh and perfectly cooked/seasoned! I can’t recommend this place enough. Already can’t wait to visit again!!“

“This place is a 6/10 in.my book. burger was over cooked, wings also. the bacon cheese fries were atrocious. cold cheese, something that I assume was bacon before it was cooked to 1980s baco bits. the coney was a 7/10. it tasted like something was missing. I was really looking forward to this place but I have high expectations for a $16.00 burger. it was thin (the new trnd is called smash that means thin) and cooked to a point that lost it juices.(not that I was asked how I wanted it cooked) its a cozy ..ok cramped space but cool vibe but sorry waaaaaaay over priced for the quality of food we were served our server was ok. Im not mad just disappointed“

“The BEST veggie burger i have ever had in my entire life. I’m an outsider and am here in Cinci visiting family. I was a little weary coming to a beef joint as I can’t eat red meat due to chemotherapy. (Ironic, I know). The owners went ABOVE and BEYOND to make sure that they were able to segregate my burger from the red meat and clean the grill to the best of their ability. I did not have a reaction other than “when can I come back!”. The house made ranch and ketchup were so tasty, I’d almost be willing to sneak it on the plane to come home with me. I 10/10 recommend this place.“

“went to Swensons on Madison road in Cincinnati ohio. We had been meaning to try this since it open. We were a little disappointed in the serving size of the fries, Double cheese burger, and Fried bologna sandwich. Taste wise it was great. Service was fast and friendly. I'd recommend to anyone but I'd definitely recommend to double your order if you want enough to eat.“

“Last night our family unexpectedly stopped in while a large group (20ish people. The staff was quick to make space for us and our waitress was amazing. She got all of our orders correct and even helped me order safely w food allergies. The chefs also did a wonderful job. “My family and I was there today to celebrate my mothers birthday, we ABSOLUTELY loved the food them ribs are to die for, however the memorable part was our server Tonya, I think I’m saying her name right, she was AMAZING I mean she engaged with my mom and son like if she was apart of the Family and THAT took us right away, the only downside was by the time we had received our drinks she was no longer our server which REALLY upset my mother, However the new server was nice she just wasn’t her,,, we LOVE the spot and enjoyed the whole atmosphere and my mother and Family DEFINITELY will be back we just hope that we run into that server Tonya again!!! Rylie was our server and she was amazing! Our food was brought out hot and fresh in literal seconds!!

We ordered fried pickles, a burger and chicken sandwich and everything tasted great and hot! This was a great first experience!“

“Love BRU Burger! We used to often go to the one downtown ahead of going to Aronoff shows... having the one in Montgomery lets us enjoy them even more often! “Last time we came here we had a gift card for Oakley kitchen, and the man working at the time (April 16th 2024 actually) did sketches and drawings and was super nice, (also the burgers are phenomenal) he figured out how to use the gift card perfectly fine and even rung us up a second time for another order. We came again today and they suddenly can’t take the gift card, it’s a 100 dollar gift card and there’s only four places even open here with fat Al’s being one of the two places we’re interested in. Really dissapointing as it was used perfectly fine the last time TWICE and we drove half an hour to get here specifically for their burgers. The manager was on the phone and said they were one of the last people to switch to using a card (or something like that??) but again it worked last time we came so that doesn’t make any sense :/ our visit today was on 4/30/24.“

“Food was great. Service was quick and friendly. I wish Cincinnati had more Greek restaurants. I live in Fairfield and we just don’t have any authentic Greek food. I’m very excited my new office is only 4 minutes down the road. I plan on not packing my lunch as much and taking some time away from work. The slider sampler is such a smart option on a menu because it gave us an opportunity to try a few burgers 🍔 I'd definitely recommend the one with the goat cheese! The loaded mimosas were VERY strong. We should've checked to see what was in them first so that was our bad 😅 We drank about 1/2 of ours and were feeling it. Neither of us are big alcohol drinkers though. We wanted the seasoned parmesan fries as an appetizer and our waitress let us know that we could just upgrade from the chips! Ended up trying the gouda mac and cheese bites which were awesome. Highly recommend checking them out! 😊“

“I’ve been looking for a place here in Cincinnati that can make me a Lobster and Crab grilled cheese like I had at the LAX airport a few months back. They were able to add the lobster to a grilled cheese but not the crab meat and it was good just a tad bit salty but I would definitely try again. Really appreciated them making the accommodation. Rest of the food was good except for the Coleslaw, just too different for my taste. Bacon cheeseburger was better than average. Mozzarella sticks were ok. Waitresses was ok, not as conversational as we are use to but serviceable. Price was reasonable for 2 meals, a speciality sandwich, and an appetizer. We agreed to give this establishment a 8 out of 10 overall. Definitely will return.“

“El Barril is a really awesome Mexican joint we found in Mount Adam's in Cincinnati. It had both indoor and outdoor seating but on this day we decided on the inside. The restaurant looks really super fun with lots of tremendous decor with even the chairs being unique (and comfortable too.) They had a lot of unique takes on Mexican dishes (lots of unique burgers on the menu for one) as well as some classic favourites. We started with an appetizer of Buffalo Chicken Dip which was a straightforward take on it. It had lot's of chicken, a very flavourful but not too spicy Buffalo sauce, and some blue cheese mixed in. It was served with chips. This was as good of take as I've had on a Buffalo Dip that I've had from anyplace. For my main course I tried the Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos which was 3 hard tacos served with grilled shrimp topped with spicy Bang Bang sauce as well as cilantro. This was very unique but very delicious all the same. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and that sauce I would describe as zesty with a slight punch but not too much. Really liked them a lot. My wife enjoyed her Margarita as well as her food (I believe it was a pork dish but I forgot to take a picture). This was a super fantastic lunch and I for one can't wait to come back.“

“Love this place. Been there many times. I always loved the mushroom n swiss hoagy. Looked forward to it this week as my fun habit of getting one after my dentist appt a couple doors down. NO HOAGIES anymore?! Lame. So i opted for the mushroom n swiss burger. Not great. Dry. Maybe add the mushroom sauce that used to be on the hoagy? Only way i will go back by myself is if Hoagy returns. Would w friends tho. Great atmosphere.“

“I have discovered that the Dairy Queen in Latonia/Covington has lower prices than the Dairy Queen Highland Pike in Ft. Wright near Walmart. I believe it is because the one in Latonia is privately owned. I paid about 2 dollars more at Dairy Queen on Highland Pike for a milkshake than I do at my local location on Decoursey Ave across the street from Latonia Liquors and this location has a bench or picnic tables where you can sit and enjoy your ice cream without taking it in your vehicle. Yes, they do have a drive thru also... if you're in a rush or have somewhere else to be. The associates are generally quick to get you in and out of the drive thru. Just be extra cautious when exiting the lot because it's a busy road and there are pedestrians crossing often and waiting in line at the walk up window.
