“I have been going to this specific location since the day it opened. It has always been a 5 star for us, quality has stayed excellent, service is exceptional and it’s the wonderful humans you have on your team that truly provide the experience-it’s what sets you apart from other establishments (the food speaks for itself-delicious!). Anywhere can offer the best food on the planet but it’s the crew who keep your doors open and Penn Station got it right! There is no big CEO or corporate. It’s just the owners and their wonderful amazing staff.

I can draw one conclusion as to why they are so invested in serving their customers in a long nutshell- when you feel valued, are paid a living wage, feel appreciated: you perform better…. as a person who’s been in the industry for way too many years, you can spot an employee that’s struggling to do their best and get through the day, versus someone who is genuinely happy to be there.

When other restaurants continue to raise prices and reduce quality, Penn Station stands out to me as a staple in the communities in which they service. They care about their guests. They have standards and values and are willing to keep it that way.

This is a long novel of a post but this is something that makes a huge impact in this crazy world; where sometimes all we have to brighten our day in these crazy times is to go into a restaurant and sit and enjoy food- It’s become a luxury to do it and a lot of choices out there. If you want to survive as a business, follow Penn Station’s example to your community and get on board. There a lot of competition out there!

“Great food and fast service. They are always so kind. I prefer this specific location over the next closest (parma) worth the extra few minutes drive to have someone put a little extra care! Thank you guys for always being my pick me up for lunch!“

“Great food! I have gotten delivery a couple of times and they were always pretty quick.
The original wings were of good quality, and the Korean bbq ones were especially good.
Ordered the Cajun fries and they were perfectly seasoned and fresh.
I have also tried the Bacon Chicken Chipotle and California Chicken subs and both were well made and very tasty. I like that they are delivered open in their boxes.“

Everything is always fresh and hot, the service is friendly and it is truly one of the best Philly cheesesteaks I have ever had, even compared to many in Philly. “I worked out in strongsville for 4 years but left for another job in cleveland. Started back at my old job recently in strongsville and stopped here for lunch and the lady behind the counter remembered me and my order lol. Very nice lady, food is always good!“

“First couple times at Mr Hero. Pickup up a Romanburger for a family member and the cheesesteak sub for me. Solid food. The veggied on the Romanburger were fresh and my family member loved it. The cheesesteak sub for me was great too. I like mushrooms and it had a lot of them. If you're not a mushroom fan you might have them go light on them, but I love them. The waffle fries were very good, and i liked them much better than the ones at a certain chicken chain. Note, This location is definitely setup more for takeout than dining in.“

“Picture it, mall is closing and a tired Mom and toddler need to eat. Toddler is very upset about leaving the playplace, is hungry and now throwing a fit. Mom orders food and is given fries right away. While trying to juggle her purse, drink and an upset toddler the Mom gives the toddler a fry but it is too hot and toddler drops it on the floor. The cashier apologizes even though it's not his fault and the Mom explains it's been a long day and the toddler is just tired and emotional per usual. The cashier reaches over and hands a small free package of cookies to give to the toddler. The crying stops, Mom breathes and in just a moment a stranger has helped more than they could know. Thank you for your thoughtful gesture. You truly made a difference in that Mom's day. Food was so delicious and quick too. ❤️“

“We went to Penn Station in Avon tonight, where we met Logan. I haven't seen such genuine, friendly customer service in years!! We ordered a chicken teriyaki sub with ghost pepper cheese, a cheese steak sub with ghost pepper cheese, and fries. The ghost pepper cheese had an amazing kick and perfect flavor, and we really enjoyed it! Absolutely delicious and fresh!! Also very generous with the fries! I've already gone back to the menu to decide what I want next. Thank you for a wonderful experience, Logan!!“

“We door dashed Mr Hero last night. 5 Roman burgers and a Philly with fries and cheese. It’s been years since I have had Mr hero and the food was soooo good! Burgers cooked well, sandwiches wrapped nice, fries crispy and cheese hot! We will be back!“

“Literally dining here as I write this. We go to Penn station all the time and this is the best service we’ve had. Such friendly employees working here today, and our subs are perfect!! And hot, fresh fries to go with them. Great job! Fast food workers aren’t generally the kindest but these guys are great. ?“

“This is a nice little addition to the convenience store. It's a run of the mill convenience store overall with anything you would expect to find it any corner store in our area. But what makes it so grand? They have a Mr hero inside! When you're on your way home from work picking up a six pack or a tall boy, who can resist a nice 10-in Roman Burger sandwich or hot buttered cheese steak?? Maybe somebody can but not this guy! Staff is also very friendly and you can see into the kitchen and it appears to be pretty clean, which is always a good thing.“
