“You cannot beat the price for the food! Mr. Bailey is absolutely wonderful and welcoming. The pork chops taste like they are out of grandma's kitchen, fries were fresh cut and amazing. Peach cobbler was also homemade and delicious. Will be back again, no where like it for the price!“

“Having a tip automatically added to the bill of two people is off-putting. For the record, I'm a good Tipper. I did actually add to the 15% automatically added because our server was awesome. But tipping is an addition, not part of the bill. Heck, add it to the cost of the food and I'll pay it. but not in tipping. that's my choice.“

“My families favorites so far are the banana pudding, macaroni and cheese, stuffed corn bread, and fries. There is also an in house tangy hot sauce that goes well on everything. The food is reminiscent of dinner at granny's house with a modern flare. It's really good.“

“The food is absolutely delicious! I am going on my 3rd year of a meatless diet and I am so happy to have discovered this place of business. Everything was flavorful and those sweet potato muffins were so moist. I highly recommend trying them out whether you are a vegetarian or not, you will enjoy the food! 😋“

“When I want delicious soul food, I drive 2 hours to Angie’s. Amazing food and customer service, you can’t ask for anything more. My favorite is the meatloaf with greens and Mac n cheese. The portions are also very generous. Thank you Angies staff for providing incredible food and service.“

“I went here to enjoy a night out with staff and it was the perfect little bar that we needed. The staff was so friendly and great listeners. I ordered a tequila sunrise and a prime rib philly steak sub with fries and mozzarella sticks. I absolutely loved both! The mozzarella sticks are topped with parmesan cheese and were cooked just right. This is a great place for a quick bite to eat and drink. The Dj was also full of life and was very entertaining ? “First off you have to park on the road in front of the building there is no parking for the restaurant as it's connected to other buildings. My first impressions of the place were "this place looks sketchy," but the people inside were nice and it wasn't crowded. The food took 15 minutes to cook so they offered to call me when it was done, as there's no where to wait in the restaurant. When I did get my food (chicken Philly wrap and boneless wings) it was packaged with care and tasted great. If you consider eating here I'd recommend ordereding ahead of time and just going there when it is ready.

“I just tried Mattie Ruth's for the first time and I got the smothered pork chops with tomatoes with okra, mac and cheese. It was the best tasting food. The porkchops were so good that the made me cry. I will eat here again, just might be lunch today.“
