“The food was good. Limited menu. But I was disappointed in my Lobster Flat Bread. The pic and what I got were nowhere close. I barely had any lobster, most pieces of flat bread didn’t have any lobster at all. The Calamari was tender and well-seasoned but not crispy. The breading seemed as if it had been sitting for a while. The drinks were good but pricey. The service was poor. Except the Sous chef, she was excellent. But the others were a bunch of young kids who all seemed to be brand new, unorganized, and not what i would expect in a place so expensive. The marinated Ahi Tuna was excellent. All of that being said, we enjoyed our time there, but $156 later, I doubt we will go back.“

She was missing the foods from her home, and a true Spanish restaurant is hard to find. A friend said he heard about Sangria Y Tapas so we immediately changed our plans and headed to Westlake. She smiled the entire time we were there and spoke Spanish with the owner a mile a minute. She said it did her heart good and the food was truly Spanish. The service was spectacular! We will definitely be crossing over to the west side to visit this fabulous establishment again!“

“Really enjoyed our brunch at Check Please cafe. Everything was delicious! The pumpkin pancakes were sooo good! I appreciate that they use locally sourced, unprocessed ingredients and that their food is scratch made! They even include some delicious vegetarian options on the menu. I highly recommend!!“

“I really like this place I always forget about them they have such a varied menu but everything is pretty good. The one thing I do not like is their Booth style tables for a larger group have absolutely no room the table is just too big you can barely get in and out of the seats unless you're a very small child or a small person. It is very uncomfortable.

Parking: The paid parking spots are closer to the restaurant than free parking spots free parking spots are quite a distance away“

PS watch out for those hot peppers, they bring the heat! Those with milder sensibilities might want to for-go the hot peppers.“

Parking: It's a local parking lot and not dedicated to just the restaurant. Any local event fills it up fast. Get there early.“

My son loves to watch them make the sushi rolls and loves the juice in the glass bottle. It's nice they have other little things you can buy while you are there as well. “My husband and I were on vacation the second week of October. We decided to try a new restaurant our last night in town. The Cabin Club was just up the street from our hotel. We really enjoyed the ambiance once inside. Our server Jennifer was awesome. She made us feel welcome and had an answer for all our questions. She even gave us a history on the Cabin. The food was delicious. I ordered the cider glazed pork chop with cinnamon apples and green beans. Try this restaurant. We will definitely be back when we are in town again. Thank you Jennifer ?“

“A delightful place, in a very cozy setting of a historic home. Our server was enthusiastically pleasant. As we were reviewing the menu a woman from the next table proclaimed that the scallops are a must have, she is a regular there. We had the lobster bisque. Great taste and generous chunks of lobster. The viscosity was curiously low for such a soup but was still very good. The temperature it was served at was also perfect. The scallops were very tasty and very consistent through the bite. The texture did not change in the center. The risotto was just right. The sea bass was a nice thick portion, also prepared so well. One very remarkable thing about our experience was not just that everything tasted great, but every last item was served at the perfect temperature. That really stood out as amazing. We will be back!“
