We had a big order, so when we got home and took everything out the chicken nuggets weren't in there she just cried. I was going to call them but It was so busy last night I wasn't going to do that to them. I worked in fast food, so I know.“

Drinks-  collins angel hot latte 5/5 and a matcha latte (Collins angel version) 4/5

Food- egg sandwich w/ bacon- soft bread,  thick bacon,  moist. 5/5 and vermonter- turkey apple and cheese pastry. 4/5 flaky,  good filling.  Not the biggest fan of the sesame seeds.

Overall clean,  cute,  great music/ vibes. A bit pricey, paid $23 for a pastry and drink. But I look forward to returning and exploring the wine/ bar and live music & after work ambiance.“

“Accessibility Review: As a frequent coffee shop studier, I enjoyed my time getting work done at Gata Magica Cafe and Lounge. As I worked and evaluated the accessibility of the establishment, I noticed upon entering that the tables and chairs on the first floor level are placed tightly together which may be difficult to maneuver around with a wheelchair or walker, especially when the walkway areas are crowded with customers. The upper level is more spread out and spacious, however, it is only accessible by stairs.

As for sensory elements, this coffee shop had a very relaxing atmosphere with a quiet noise level besides the occasional coffee machine sounds and low level of chatter. The lighting was also very relaxed and dim without any fluorescent lighting which helps to create a less stimulating atmosphere for those with sensory sensitivities.

While the menu display itself did not have braille or text reading abilities for the blind or visually impaired, the baristas were very helpful and I’m sure would happily assist a customer by reading the menu aloud if needed. They could make this even more accessible to people with vision impairments by adding an electronic menu option that is screen reader compliant. The pay station was a touch screen tablet and did not have screen reading capabilities that I was aware of, so this may also be difficult for those who are blind or visually impaired to process their payment and pick a tip option independently.

The bathroom had a door with a code lock which may be difficult for individuals who have difficulty with fine motor skills. However, once in the bathroom, there is plenty of space for maneuverability with support railings around the toilet. The sink is at a low enough height to be accessed by wheelchair, however, the soap and paper towels are much higher and would be difficult to reach from a sitting position. The toilet is a manual flush, helping to reduce unexpected sensory input of a loud, unexpected flush.

Overall, I understand that there are limitations on building structures on High Street, but this accessibility is important to consider and for potential disabled customers to be aware of.“

“Everyone working is always so friendly and talkative, they care about their guests! They have orders memorized for their regulars and they serve with smiles on their faces. The coffee and drinks are always delicious and consistent. Their jalapeno and cheddar bagel keeps me alive in the mornings and the Café Bon Bon is great for espresso lovers, I used their recipe as a guideline for making coffee at home on the weekends now. The environment is eclectic and adorable, a great place to read a book on your lunch break.“

“I walked to this coffee shop from the Hotel LeVeque for my morning coffee. I ordered an Espresso and a pour over. Both beans were on the placard at the register and priced at market pricing. The total bill was sub $10. The espresso was good, very flavorful, but was nothing compared to the Pour Over which was the absolute best cup of coffee I have had.

“Great community place for coffee. I got a latte with pumpkin flavoring and it was good - it was more on the gingerbread smell profile and the coffee itself was good. I also get a bag of cat treats when I'm there because my kids like the brand they offer.

Shop itself is a cool little shop with plenty of seating. They sell books, art, bagged coffee and tea.

Couches could use an update - they're getting pretty worn and saggy - but don't let that stop you from getting a really satisfying latte. The stained glass on the cafe windows are lovely and add another quirky touch to a quirky place. Was pretty dead at 2pm on a Saturday - highly recommended!“

The servers are always fast working and friendly though it can get fairly busy depending on what day/time you go. Their menu changes seasonally as well which is pleasant. The coffee is wonderful too! The only downside is parking can be kind of difficult especially when it's busy, but that's pretty normal for Columbus.“

“I visited bake me happy to accommodate some coworkers who have gluten and dairy allergies while I was bringing non allergen free goods to everyone else. The staff was kind and helpful while I looked for a variety of options. When I brought the food in, people were actually preferentially eating the allergen free baked goods over the other food I brought in. They especially commented that the GFDF brownie was really good. It’s a little more expensive than your standard bakery, which I’ve found to expect the more I cook and bake in an allergy friendly way, so I doubt that would come as a surprise to anyone looking to buy here. The next time I need something allergen friendly, I would definitely be stopping here.

“My Husband & I are so grateful to Woodhouse Vegan for hosting & catering our intimate 40 person wedding in September 2022. My husband and I are both vegan, and found the prospect of finding vegan catering for our small wedding daunting. We were thrilled that Woodhouse, one of the best vegan restaurants in Columbus, was open to not only catering our wedding, but also hosting it! Carla & the entire Woodhouse team made our big day incredible!! They did a fantastic job communicating prior to the wedding- we spoke via email, text, phone, and in person at the Woodhouse space. They answered all of our questions & provided helpful suggestions for how the night should run. On the day of our wedding they were flexible and provided us the stress-free easy going atmosphere we were hoping for. Carla kindly whispered a few things in our ears as the night went on letting us know how the bar tab was doing and to check in prior to serving each course. We had so much fun! The entire Woodhouse team helped us craft a delicious multi-course meal that our vegan and non-vegan guests loved. Their drinks were also fantastic! They happily catered to a few picky eaters on the guest list, as well as provided some non-alcoholic options for our non-drinking guests. The atmosphere was gorgeous, as always, and we were thrilled to use both the patio and indoor space. With 40 guests the space felt lively but not crowded.
