“This lovely coffee and chocolate shop in Short North opened early and provided great coffee for me in the morning of game day. Free caramel apple samples were available, but it tasted too sweet. The almond chocolate was decent without too much sugar. The room was comfy and warm. WiFi was fast. Service was excellent. Definitely a great place to hang out or study.“

After ordering from the wrong Stringtown location and realizing the other had a Field of Dreams like line, we hopped back on the highway and headed to the location at the next exit (this one). “My favorite place to decompress after work. I will take my book, have the greatest hot chocolate or matcha ever and be at peace. Staff is very kind and gentle, going on the contrary of a lot of places that have people that intimidate you while you are ordering for reasons like bad humor or just bad training. Here staff you look you in the eye, explain things if you are not very familiar and just be kind. I love the place. Several tables and sofas to seat and just enjoy, to work or study. Not to mention parking is pretty good! This is my to go place when I need time for myself.“

“It's so wonderful to finally have a non-starbucks coffee joint in my neighborhood. Service is wonderful and Deaf friendly - one of the staff knew a little bit of the manual alphabet. I love the fact there are soft chairs and a soft couch to sit on. With fibromyalgia,it's important I sit on soft furniture. Plenty of tables with chairs to sit to read, type on a laptop, have meetings, etc. The iced latte was delicious - I wished there were more gluten-free baked goods/meals. Plenty of natural light from large windows. FREE parking across the street.“

“Bake me happy isn’t just good for a gluten free bakery, they’re great for a bakery. Very faithful reproductions of gluten based baking that taste amazing, have amazing texture. We threw a party with a few celiac guests and had no problem proudly and safely serving them these amazing baked goods. Thanks so much!“

“First time visiting this cafe earlier today and it was such a lovely experience! 😊 Lots of coffee options, but the baristas were eager to explain what was available. I went with a simple cappuccino with coconut sweetener. Sooo good. (Can't speak to the pastries though.)
I camped out for a few hours to do some work on my laptop. No issues with the wifi at all; it was free guest wifi with no password needed. It was pretty calm (I went on a Wednesday afternoon/evening) with a quiet trickle of folks in & out. There's even a piano in the back that someone was noodling around on!
I loved the peaceful ambiance & variety of seating options, and later in the evening I switched to a couch to read my book. It's so nice to have a café open a bit later!! Also, one of the baristas kindly asked if I felt the lighting was too low to read comfortably, which was so thoughtful (I've never been asked that - I thought it was a good brightness!)
I've been to a lot of cafés, but this is definitely my new favorite spot. Delicious coffee, cozy atmosphere, and 10 out of 10 service. I'll definitely be back! ❤️“

“It’s the best I’ve had in desserts“

“We're a Church (Buckeye Catholic) and we like to switch back and forth between BD and Krispy Kreme for our Sunday donuts. When we showed up at KK today, the machine was down so they didn't have donuts for us. I jumped on the BD app at 926am and ordered 20 dozen donuts and the app said they would be ready at 940am. When we arrived at 945am, we were told that they typically require 24 hours for large ordered. Everyone hustled and got the donuts for us at 10am which worked out ... we're VERY thankful. BTW, the kids at Buckeye Catholic LOVE Buckeye Donuts!!!!“

“We were looking for a last minute cake for the 2 year old in our life. This bakery was recommended a while ago on a Facebook page so I thought we’d give it a try after looking at what they offered. The staff was amazing and made sure they asked if it was for a birthday. They put a chocolate ‘Happy Birthday’ candy on top and gave us candles, a cake cutter and matches. Really a thoughtful gift to help celebrate her birthday. She LOVED the chocolate cloud cake since it mixed her favorites both berries and chocolate. We can’t wait to go back and try the other yummy options.“

“the drinks that i got were really good, this place was recommended to me by a shop owner in Columbus. sadly the customer service wasn't really that good, they weren't friendly and the menu is confusing for us folks who are used to a regular degular latte. so i suggest looking at the menu before you go.“
