“I pick up food from this Chipotle at least once a week. The food is always good. I have two suggestion for improvement: 1) get a slightly bigger container for those of us who want rice on the side. 2) Improve consistency in portion size. You never know what your going to get.“

“I am visiting from Boston and just happen to spontaneously tour the Ohio Statehouse. Here, I lunched at HouseTaco which locates inside the Statehouse itself. The food is quick and fresh. Chef Zach prepared the tacos on-site with passion. They were delicious! What a hidden gem!!!“

“I have been a customer for over a year now since I moved to Columbus and from the first bite i was impressed. The food is always fresh ,taste amazing and the staff makes you feel like you're at home with every visit. They are the ONLY food truck that i visit al least once or twice a week. “Been going here since 2018, but food got better in the last 3 years. We dine in twice a month and are big fans of their tamales (creamy masa with tasty shredded pork in red sauce filling) and chili rellenos (a huge chile in crispy batter, stuffed with overflowing, melted cheese and topped with ground beef in red sauce. Chile still has a good bite and not overcooked at all). Their Especial Los Mariachis Fajita is huge and overflowed with shrimps, carnitas, asada, chorizo, and chicken PLUS sliced onions, green and red peppers (we always opt for jalapenos instead). And once you're seated, they'll bring you (free) chips and refreshing salsa, which has a little kick to it. We love going there! The service is good, the waiters are always polite and respectful. The restaurant is clean with nice ambiance, good background Mexican music, and clean restrooms. Prices are on point and reflect the inflation and whatnot.“

We had a fantastic time celebrating a birthday last night at La Loma! The food was great and the portions incredibly generous.

La Loma is a cut above the big chain Mexican restaurants.
The staff was so friendly and attentive. They truly made our celebration special by making a big fuss over the birthday person and treating us to a delicious free dessert.

The attention to detail really stood out.

“We ordered Qdoba catering from this store for a large party. They were very helpful when I went in to place the order. I had to place the order in person because I was using gift cards.

They delivered the food early and included all necessary implements. The food was very good and fed everyone with leftovers. I had ordered two extra salads on the side, but really wasn’t necessary. We had one entire salad left over. There were a ton of chips and shredded cheese leftover also. I had ordered their special queso and was very glad I did. People raved about it. There was plenty of guacamole which I loved. The only thing we ran out of quickly, was their corn salsa. If I was doing it again, I would order extra of that. But overall, a huge win. The picture shows most of the food. This was an order for 40.“

He told me the story of how his grandma would make fresh tortillas and slide him one or two before dinner as a kid. He would add a little water and salt roll it into a ball and eat it before anyone would notice. This act of love and family traditions has now made it to your table. I usually get the beef chimichanga, but tonight, I had The Westgate Burrito, and I didn't want to be at the end of my meal. It was that delicious. Flavorful, the right amount of spices, and absolutely heavenly. I highly recommend ordering the hibiscus drink to go with your meal. It's non-alcoholic, sweet, and aromatic. I can't recommend this place enough.“

It was made with a giant handmade corn tortilla that is a little thick; you can ask for it on flour instead if you want but you should try it on the corn first. “They have the best fresh Mexican food around. Every part of your meal will be fresh from the rice to the meat to the handmade tortillas, and everything in between. Very fast service, the longest you will ever have to wait is about 15 minutes. They do only accept cash, but there is an ATM right up the road, maybe 8 buildings away.

Parking: It's located in the parking lot between "The Spot" bar and the pawnshop.

Kid-friendliness: They normally have a picnic table set up so you can sit there with your kids and eat.

Wheelchair accessibility: You can take your wheelchair right up to the order window.“

I got the meat and potato empanadas along with the cheese arepas, and the lady working up front was really sweet. The only issue is that there isn’t anywhere to sit (but it’s a food truck why would there be a place to sit).“
