“Hunan by the falls is a special kind of restaurant! Everyone is kind and the food is top notch every time. It’s hard to stray from the walnut chicken, but other awesome dishes are Hunan beef, wonton soup, shrimp dumplings, and crab rangoon! Expensive, but worth treating yourself!“
“Im baffled by bad reviews here. Hakka is nowhere close to fastfood chinese, this is gourmet level. Best chinese I’ve had before this was Noble House in Hudson and Hakka is at that level. Very high quality. Every town needs food like this. I loved their japanese soft tofu!!! Where has that been all my life? So thankful for this place. Best food I’ve had in Aurora all year.“
“Great place to go for a early lunch.Calamari needs to be removed from the menu. It's not the real deal! But the wonton soup and fried wontons as well as dim sum stickers are delicious. Lettuce wraps are fabulous, the flavor wakes up the lettuce.. Most all entrees can be shared among each other.“
“Solid take-out Chinese with fast service. Recommend the General Tso's Tofu, I have a relative who isn't vegetarian but is addicted. They manage to get a perfect crisp on the outside of the chewy tofu, and the sauce is just right, not excessively sweet.Vegetarian options: Tofu dishes“
“What a cute little place! I do love the diner aesthetic they have. The food is so, so good! Everything is so nice and flavorful, with great depth of flavor. Service is not bad, but it may be a tad slow if they are super busy. My only "gripe" is the drinks: they are nice but not as spectacular as the food. I would have loved to see some more unusual cocktails. Worth a visit though!“
“New ownership. Place is cleaner and food has been WAY better. I had the crispy Mala chicken. Incredible. Slightly smokey, touch spicey, and balanced. Exactly what I think of when I want good Chinese. Just a new experience compared to what I had there prior. Sushi is also looking incredible, although I did not grab any this round. Definitely on my top 3 list in the Cleveland area, and I been places!!Parking: Parking is pretty easy.“
“Horrible and awful customer service. They always rush you while you’re talking and they hang up mid conversation. I ordered 3 egg rolls and got 2. They didn’t give me a refund and they hung up on me. Do not eat here if you want kindness.“
“Absolutely my favorite Chinese in NE Ohio. The service is always great and the food is always phenomenal. This past time I ordered Szechwan chicken and my boyfriend ordered sweet and sour chicken. Cannot wait to go back and eat more delicious food in a great atmosphere.“
“I order from here at least once a month. Every single time I order my food is ready within 15 minutes no matter how much I order, it is magical. The food itself is great, it is always cooked thoroughly and tastes great. They also generally pack the containers with as much food as they can hold. I cannot recommend this place more.Parking: I have always had a nice close spot to park“
“Inside of establishment is honestly pretty gross. Greasy floors, countertops grimy. I will say, you can't see the kitchen at all, which is probably a good thing BUT the food that comes out of this place, is some of the VERY best Chinese food I've ever had. I'm the type to find something wrong everywhere and I'm very picky. This place is fairly priced, wait time was completely acceptable and staff at counter was super friendly. Pork lo mein and egg rolls were delicious ?“
“Originally had it a year ago while visiting my dad. The food was very good. But when I tried their wonton soup it was amazing. I love wonton soup and most places it's good but all tastes the same. I've just moved down the street and was craving the soup. The broth is great, the wontons are just big and fat with delicious filling. Most places you're lucky it you get a dime size of filling. Highly recommend!!“
“Best Chinese in the area for the value and quality. If you ask for extra spicy the red chili is so good highly recommend. I love everything I’ve ordered but lately the Hot and Sour soup extra spicy has been my go to in cold weather. I also ask for fried rice extra spicy and it has just the right amount of kick. Also! The service is the best..they are always smiling and remember me every time.“
“My girlfriend & I opted to dine via take out from Richie Chan's. She has been eating here since she returned to Cleveland two decades ago & raves about it all the time. We decided to order take out for Valentine's Day & it was fast service with generous & delicious portions. They only take cash but it's very inexpensive for the quality & quantity of food you receive. We got wonton soup, shrimp with vegetables & steamed dumplings & it was enough for two meals each for both of us! We also got organic navel oranges, fortune cookies & almond cookies as a gift (I think this may have been part of the Valentine's Day) The food was so good, we ate it before we could take photos but my girlfriend's fortune cookie says it all...wonderful food for a romantic evening. We will continue to return here. Richie Chan is the main cook & his wife, Wai, helps with food prep & takes all the orders & transactions. They are so nice & friendly it feels like your favorite aunt & uncle just invited you over for dinner. Having lived in PRC, I can attest to the genuine taste of their Cantonese, Hunanese, Mongolian & Mandarin dishes. It is also a true bargain for what you will receive.Vegetarian options: Nearly every style of Chinese food has vegetarian options except for Cashew, Cantonese Omelette, Mongolian & General Too dishes but there is plenty to choose out of the remaining entrees, appetizers & selections.Wheelchair accessibility: Restaurant is at street level with wide enough doors to accommodate wheelchairs.“
“The food was hot and tasty. Our server could not have been sweeter, she clearly wanted to be there. But even though this place has a giant dining room it's mostly unused. Lots of carry-out orders were picked up while we were there. They use Grubhub too.“
“First time there. Food was amazing. Dinner for 3. Egg roles, ribs, crab Rangoon amazing. Wonton soup outstanding. Egg foo young, pork lo mein and all remaining dishes outstanding. Believe me, I'm spoiled from our favorite spot in Lakewood, Oh that closed after 40 some yrs of going there. Food here amazing. You have to try it. It's a close second. Clean, reasonable prices, lots of food for the price and service was fast and delightful.“
“This is THE Chinese restaurant in the area. Always amazing food, always kind, always a treat.Parking: The parking lot is used for all the buildings businesses. Sometimes it’s easy to find a spot, sometimes it’s filled. But at the moment this is a takeout only restaurant so it works.Wheelchair accessibility: The side of the building is even with the parking lot, but there are two manual doors to get through. Going it alone in a wheelchair could be a small issue, but doable.“
“Long time fan of this restaurant. Been going to for 10+ years, and they always have good consistent quality and service. We’ve had large groups there and they do a great job accommodating with their party room.Their coconut shrimp is the best, I always get a second plate.“
“This is the spot! We love their food. Been going here for years and will continue to. Owned by the kindest, hardest working family. They really take pride in the delicious food they serve. And always add an egg drop soup to your order... yummmmm“
“I have lived in this area for quite some time and was not aware of this Chinese Restaurant; however, I am glad that I now know of them. I bought two Shrimp Egg Rolls, thinking they would be like the place I used to go to on Libby and Warrensville. To my surprise, I could only eat one and the shrimp were so large and delicious. The sweet and sour chicken is good. This has now become my favorite Chinese restaurant.“
“Our food is delicious. Ordered Family Style Bean Curd with fried rice. Lots of veggies and tofu. The service was fast (15 minutes) and the price was reasonable. $20 for two orders. The quantity was more than I could eat and should have some left over for tomorrow. The ambiance isn't good (old flooring and seating) but it's great to have a Chinese restaurant for take out in the Glennville!“
“Hunan East hold a special place in my heart. My whole family would eat there since I was very young and the food is always delicious and cheap.Much of the menu leans American-Chinese UNLESS you ask for the BIG menu. The little yellow take-out menus are TINY in comparison to the big menu! The staff is always happy to serve us traditionally made food if we asked! My adoptive parents are not Chinese, but the staff was always so warm and kind to my family as my parents explained that they were trying to find places with traditional food for my sister and I to try. They start off all dishes (even the ones marked spicy) as pretty mild compared to what was explained to me as "Hunan spicy" if you're adventurous! The food is well-priced and you get HUGE portions. I no longer live in Cleveland but I always make a point to stop by Hunan East to get lo mein, general tso's, steamed dumplings with a rich meaty filling and thick-chewy dough, and see the same wonderful and hardworking owners.I love you, Hunan East <3 and so did my family when we lived in Cleveland.“
“Good food! Make sure you ask for the sauces that you want. For example, soy sauce and sweet sauce. I hate the mustard. If you order egg foo young, you have to get extra gravy because the patties are big (3) they don't give you enough. The shrimp egg rolls are ok. You may find 1/2 shrimp.Parking: You can park in front of the restaurant or on the side. Sometimes, extremely busy, so it can be a problem“
“I have been coming here for over 5 years. This was the first Chinese restaurant I visited when I first moved nearby and I was glad to see they had general tso’s tofu. They accommodate my request to make it vegetarian with white rice and veggie egg rolls. The cashier always smiles when I come in and she recognizes my order. I’ve only had one time the food was wrong (made with meat) and they quickly made it over without any issue. It’s the best general tso’s tofu in the area - I have tried others but none have the same texture or sauce. I’ve had one time the egg roll was very oily, but that’s not usually the case, they’re usually very good. The prices also stay reasonable. Even if they are busy, I’ve never had to wait long after the time they committed when I do takeout ordering online (15 minutes from when I put the order in).Keep in mind that during the pandemic they may have had challenges like every other restaurant, but I am glad they’re still standing. I have moved from my previous neighborhood but I still make the drive to get their food before I will go to any other restaurant.Vegetarian options: Tofu, veggie egg rollsDietary restrictions: Vegetarian“
“First time getting takeout. The food was GREAT! House Special Chow Fun…first of all, the portion was enormous. Secondly, it had lots of the “good stuff”, including actual steak (NOT the typical Chinese restaurant “beef”) and tons of shrimps.Fried Wontons were super crispy NOT at all doughy.Chicken Laksa Ramen soup was a spicy delight! We will absolutely be repeat customers! Thanks so much!“
“This is the great place to eat, I love their food it's always so delicious no matter what I get. Not only is the food excellent, but they truly care, the other day I ordered some food that had shrimp in it, see I'm allergic to shrimp, because it was a call in order, they call me back to remind me that the food I had ordered had shrimp in it, I explained it was not for me. That showed me that they really cared, most restaurants would not have done that. Thank you Asian delight. ❤️“
“Great food and great value here! We had the Lo mein, crab rangoon, and sweet and sour chicken. The serving sizes are very large. I ate the lo mein again for breakfast and there's still enough for lunch! Food met expectations and tasted fresh.Walk in pickup only, dining area blocked off.“
“If I could give 10 Stars I would one of the best Chinese places I've had in a long time very very good I recommend highly and the delivery driver I don't know who she is but she's the best keep doing what you're doing the food is “
“The roast pork and snow pea pods was everything we hoped it would be - the pork was tender and perfectly seasoned, the snow pea pods and mushrooms super fresh, the sauce complimented the ingredients (not overwhelmed them), the portion size of dish was pleasing, and the shrimp fried rice was fluffy (not soaked in grease). New to the area, we will definitely become regulars and explore the rest of the menu!“
“This is our favorite Chinese food restaurant anywhere near us. The food is fantastic. We have never had a meal we didn't thoroughly enjoy. Be prepared because it's a very popular place so there can be long wait times but it's totally worth the wait. I highly recommend this restaurant and the management is amazing, they even helped me with a DoorDash issue that wasn't their fault. Go there today!“
“This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in the area.I tried the taro bubble tea here and it was amazing. I also appreciated that they had different flavors to choose from, so I could switch it up and try something new every time I visited. Highly recommend!“
“Two meals will cost about $25. Long gone are the days pre-Covid pandemic when prices everywhere were lower & reasonable. The flavor is good for what it is. Quick & fast. I'll definitely go back. They have a large menu, so there's something for everyone.Parking: There's a small parking lot beside the restaurant.“
“It was a small restaurant.. I ordered shrimp fried rice small, but it was over flowing in the small to go box. Not a lot of shrimp, but the shrimp was medium-sized. It was very tasty. This is take out only. It is located in a shopping center .“
“Many folks don't realize nor appreciate it when they see it. These shrimp are served without the shell and are deveined. The broccoli is blanched, so it has a smoothe and slightly crunchy texture for a plant. The plain white rice works for me, but you can get fried rice. This was the $6.50 lunch special and it comes with the soup of choice: egg drop, wonton or sweet and sour. It's a good deal for a low price and the amount of food that you get. Today, I picked up two specials including General Tso chicken and it came with my favourite wonton soup. Very tasty.“
“Wow! I haven't been here since the new owner took over - what a difference! I liked their food before, but omg, every bite I took I found myself telling my husband how amazing the flavor was! Everything is just a little bit "extra". It was "extra" enough that I ran over here to wrote a review before I forgot. Mind you, it costs quite a bit more, so it's but something I could afford on the weekly for my family of 4, but I'll sure be trying to make it here at least once a month“
“As a second generation Taiwanese immigrant, I am pretty critical of Taiwanese food. I decided to give Phusion Cafe a try because my friend spoke highly of it. The interior of the store is a bit sketchy, but the food is very affordable and the service is crazy quick. My boyfriend and I got our food within ~5 min of ordering. We took our meal to go, so the popcorn chicken wasn't as crispy anymore, which put a damper on our dining experience but of course was not their fault. The braised pork was a bit too salty and I felt that the zhajiang noodles could have used more topping (more sauce + meat), but overall the portion sizes were good and the flavors were pretty authentic. The seaweed that came with the braised pork was delicious. I couldn't get enough and would order a side of it on its own. Would recommend this spot and will likely be back to try more menu items!“
“The atmosphere is friendly, and the workers seem family oriented. The little child that sat next to me while I waited for my food was adorable. The extra spiced general tsaos and the lemon chicken are phenomenal. Cream cheese Rangoon was good but could have been cooked a little longer. Outside of that, though, it was a wonderful experience. Definitely will return.“
“For us the food was outstanding and definitely worth the price. Despite being busy they seated us quickly despite not having a reservation. We found the service to be good and the atmosphere also quite nice.We ordered the whole bass in Szechuan chili sauce, the three cup chicken, cucumber salad and the Xiao Long Bao. All were very good. The whole bass was the star. The soup in the bao was outstanding even compared to some I’ve had in Chinatown in NYC, but in my opinion the wrappers could be thinner. Beautifully folded.Even the tea was spot on. Price was a touch high but not unreasonable considering the location and the quality. I would highly recommend. What a relief to have actual Chinese food on the east side rather than the many Americanized versions from which we’ve all ordered take out.“
