Can't go wrong here, just plan on spending $75 plus for two, but hey! It's quality. Well organized. Sounded like some Hispanics cooking also with hearing the language. Impressive with a minor flaw of water stains in the section I was in. It overlooks Chagrin falls with a nice view out the windows.“
“We ordered an 11 piece assorted sushi/sashimi platter with miso, chicken katsu, and salads. For sushi in NE Ohio, we were solidly impressed. The sushi and sashimi were very fresh and briny and seemed well prepared. Even the ginger salad dressing had good depth of flavor.“
“The food was excellent! We really loved the personal broth pots and also the buffet style/serve your self style. This way you took what you want and in the portion you would like as well as knowing exactly what you are taking to cook as the items were labeled well above on the glass. There is even a sauce bar and sushi bar! You cannot beat the lunch price of 24.99 for all you can eat hot pot and Koren BBQ. Our server was nice and checked on us adequately. The atmosphere was quiet and calm and overall our visit was very enjoyable! We left very full and very satisfied. 2 thumbs up and 5 stars and would recommend to anyone and everyone!“

“Unexpected JOY in this tiny nondescript spot. They've really responded to the previous reviews and are now serving the freshest, most attentively prepared sushi in Northeast Ohio. Prices are very competitive, making up for the drive out to Macedonia, the less than fancy setting and "minimalist decor"/location... You have to ask for an actual menu if you're not interested in scanning the qr code, but that's literally the only drawback of this dining experience (if you can even call that a drawback). Hubby and I absolutely love that there's no obnoxious music or a television screen on every wall like other sushi spots that distract from the social experience of this perfect sushi lunch. Go. You won't be disappointed.“

“I was going to a concert with my companion and I'd read about and been recommended to this place by someone in a Facebook group. I was pretty excited to try what was billed as "Authentic Japanese". Anyone who's familiar with actual Japanese cuisine knows the struggle. The atmosphere was nice, service was great, food was a bit of a miss. They certainly appear to try to be "authentic", and they come close, closer than most any non familiar with Japanese food person would be able to tell, but just not quite. One of my favorite dishes is Agedashi Tofu. I cannot tell you how hard it is to find this dish prepared right. Nearly all of the non Japanese owned or operated "Japanese" restaurants don't come close and many offer what is actually Korean or some other form of "fried tofu", with the Korean version being my least favorite, fried portions of tofu that are very dry and bland, in my experience. This place came close but there were issues. First there were two huge blocks of fried tofu, and it was actually prepared right, but never have I had such large chunks. They're usually several small cubes. They did get the bonito flakes right but I found them not nearly as smokey as they should have been, almost non existently smokey and didn't add to the dish as they should. There was absolutely no greenery, scallions, nothing. The sauce was very almost watery tasting and not very flavorful. Needless to say I was disappointed. Second would be the "giyoza", which was actually the topic of the Facebook group post on someone looking for authentic Japanese prepared giyoza. This place is definitely "not it". The "dumplings" we got were deep fried, in a shell that was thick and powdery tasting to eat. Just not in any way remotely like actual giyoza. The sushi nigiri we ordered was fine, much like any other decent sushi place, so no complaints there. Lastly the Nabeyaki Udon took forever to come out, the tempura to go with it even longer, and the broth was different tasting than expected. At that point we were pretty full, pressed to get to our concert as the wait for our food had set us back. We took the Udon to go but later found the noodles had soaked up all the broth and it was pretty unappetizing. The Yakitori was ok, not the best but not the worst. Lastly, the place is a bit hard to find. The frontage from the street looks like office buildings or something residential and you have to go around that and down a slope to the back bottom of that to get to the actual restaurant and even then we weren't sure we were at the right place until we entered. Overall, while most people will probably enjoy this place, someone who knows Japanese food, may not.“
“This is a good Asian Restaurant right there on Coventry Blvd in the trendy Coventry neighborhood. The atmosphere was pleasant and spacious. The service was friendly and polite. They did forget the soup for my take-out order so I had to remind them, which was not a big deal. Overall Everything was good.“

“Otani is perfection. My order was packaged well and arrived at the perfect temperature. I ordered DoorDash. Miso Soup was hot, umami a full of seaweed and balanced with scallions and tofu. The salad was crisp and fresh, but the dressing didn't taste anything like ginger. It was extremely sweet. I also got a Haiku Roll. It was SO good. The tempura yam and zucchini in it were crisp and the avocado was fresh. I'd add peanuts to the top next time. The vegan spring rolls was crisp and full of veggies. Can't wait to order more!Vegetarian options: They have a lot of vegetarian appetizers, entrees and maki.Dietary restrictions: They have a dedicated vegan menu and also have an expansive variety for pescatarians.“

“I can't wait to go back here! My family and I were pleasantly surprised with our experience. The interior could definitely use some work, but they're doing a good job with what they've got. The service was very slow because they were understaffed, but the staff that was there were the kindest, sweetest workers that I have EVER encountered in a restaurant! Could not have asked for a nicer serving staff. The menu has many great options and all are reasonably priced. All of the food was delicious and plated beautifully. I am already excited to go back and try new things on the menu.“
“If I were to describe our experience at Tree Country in one word, it would be “decent.” Overall, the food was fine - the crispy tofu, stir-fried chicken, and even the bubble tea were all a bit dry (or perhaps “chalky”), and the mango sticky rice was about as memorable as Mike Dukakis, but these were counterbalanced by the rich and fragrant green curry (be sure to add avocados - you won’t regret it!) and the chewy and saucy noodles. The restaurant is takeout only, but we were able to sit at a table and enjoy our boxed up dinner in peace… and almost complete silence, which was unusual, but not entirely unpleasant. Moreover, the staff is friendly and the kitchen is prompt. You could certainly do worse in the area than to eat (or order takeout) from here.Parking: No dedicated parking lot, but free street parking on nearby side streets (which fill up very quickly depending on the time of day).“
