“Great bbq, the sauce is really good, I recommend the hot bbq. However I will say that the sauce just adds to the flavor, I got the brisket dinner and my friend got the bbq pulled pork. Both had really good flavor and like I said the sauce just enhanced it. We got our food to go at the counter and then took it back to the apartment. I would eat here but that day we just took it to go. The sides we had were mac and cheese, collard greens, green beans, and fries. I've been told their fried corn is to die for but unfortunately they were out this day. Which will just give me a reason to go back.“

“Coworkers met here for lunch! Met at 11:30am on a Tuesday afternoon. No crowds and seated immediately. The food was awesome, as always. Never have had a bad meal here. Forgot to take pics...had the ribeye, street corn on the cob and broccoli.“

“My fiancé and I are from the Youngstown area and always enjoy coming up to get your delicious bbq. Brooke took care of us and she was absolutely amazing! She delivers the best service and energy. The cooks were also welcoming. Thank you for a great experience. We will be back!“

“First, I apologize the other review should've gone to Cracker Barrel with the bad waitress!My takeout order was ready when I got there although I was a little early and the people working back gave me a cheerful greeting.The pulled chicken sandwiches were fine. I was satisfied with the amount of sauce we are allowed to include. I do wish you offered a option of a small side salad but maybe your customer demographic is not enthusiastic about vegetables besides fried potatoes? I'm thinking that Parmesan straws you know those long, crunchy bread appetizers they serve at Italian restaurants that look like straws are salted like pretzels- I think those would be delicious with your food. Maybe you can discuss adding it to the menu. Or maybe fried Parmesan biscuit pieces?“

“Everything was good here, the food could be done better, and soggy buns are never fun. Service was good, decor is rustic modern with lots of wood. Would return.Vegetarian options: It's not worth trying for the lack of selections. Sides are your choices.“

“Just got outta here and hafta say -- sooo impressed with the service! We have kids and didn't drink so I wouldn't consider us the highest priority/best paying customers. I felt absolutely doted on - when my iced tea was 1/3 full, I had another placed on the table w/o asking. Super busy Saturday night and they checked in on us at least 4 times to make sure all was right. Food was good. I had pulled pork, wife had a chicken fried chicken I think, it was incredible and now I want one to go! Kids had kid stuff. We did call ahead to be put on waiting list. This cannot be an easy place to work but it is run like an incredible, customer satisfaction machine. Great job and thank you to ALL involved!“

“Came here for my birthday and had a solid meal. The cheese curds were pretty good but the accompanying sauces weren't terrific. My wife got the tomato basil, which was delicious and would definitely get again. I really enjoyed the brisket melt but I thought it could have used more sauce options. The mushroom au jus was nice but more liquid would have gone a long way. Definitely want to go back for all the other things on the menu I was interested in.“

“The BEST IN BBQ. Just had it again and once again amazing.Portions are at least dbl the size of the "Ole Carolina BBC" place.We came here and were amazed at the taste!! We recently attended a wedding reception they catered and it was over the top. Be sure you Don't miss this- Just look for Sasquatch outside.lol“

“My son and I had dinner here last night. Our server, Lamar, was so nice. He took every straw wrapper off the table, kept our glasses full, and checked on us every little bit. We had really good salads, and shared a piece of Bananas Foster Cheesecake that was fantastic! We'll be back, and I hope we get Lamar again!“

“In Peninsula for the Ramp Up Festival with friends. Decided to stop here for lunch. They have a good selection of craft beers. I ordered a mushroon bacon burger with onion rings. Burger tasted good but was a bit dry. Ordered medium and got well done so it was not juicy how I like them. Onion rings were crispy and good. They had a special ramp flavored IPA on tap, a very unusual beer with a garlicky finish. Our server was excellent today. Patio seating was nice on a sunny day.“
