The food was very good! - The preparation and plating of the sushi was very professional and visually appealing. - Food was prepared in a timely manner. “The burgers are some of the best ive ever had. Found this gem of a place while traveling. My fiance found it and we gave it shot because of the name itself, my late grandfathers name. Not local to the area but they are definitely worth the 2.5 hour drive. Have been in 4 times already. The Lemmy burger with the chips is still my favorite. “I went with my business partner and an employee after we moved a family from our home town of Wadsworth Ohio down to Huntington WV, over a four hour drive and I would voluntarily make that 4 hour drive again just to dine here. The owner was the nicest and most personable lady ever. When you go order the ribeye and mac and cheese 100% you will not be dissapointed. They also have a very tasteful wine list.“

However, this place is by far the BEST we’ve found! The flavors were on point and took us right back home. The only disappointment was the tortillas — the menu mentions “homemade,” but we were served Mission tortillas instead. Fresh, homemade tortillas would’ve really elevated the meal. “It’s kind of cheap and tacky to charge a customer because they used a credit card change all of $3.51 on $87 bill. I had a big south burger and he fried apples and Gouda Mac and cheese. The pork and the big south burger didn’t taste right no matter how much barbecue sauce I put on it. The fried apples need more sugar with the cinnamon. My wife had the banging out Burger garlic fries. She thought fries were too garlicky. overall experience was 85 out of 100.“

“We always enjoy Waffle House. Breakfast is our to go food. There are two waffle Houses in our area. I like both but the one on 29th street in Huntington WV is my favorite. There is a young waitress there. I think her name is Shanti but I’m not positive. I have a 13 year old grandson who has had trouble with bullying and has difficulties with making friends. She teases him and is extra friendly to him. She calls him Mr. Long Hair because he like a lot of teenage boys has long hair. He loves going to Waffle House and his mental attitude has changed so much. We are very appreciative of her. She is what Waffle House is. Going home where you feel comfortable and eating a good meal with family and friends.“

“This was by far the absolute WORST Waffle House my family & I had ever been to. We stopped here for dinner on our way home from a family outing & I really wish we had not. We sat at the booth for well over 15 min. before anyone would acknowledge us or even come to our table. When the waitress with the pink hair finally did come, she was rude and complaining of other customers. It took her 10 min. just to bring our drinks, which she gave us no straws & my coffee was cold & tasted old. We never seen her again. She was to busy flirting with a group of guys. Eventually another waitress brought us our food 30 min. later & the order completely wrong. Guests who came in way after us received their food first. My husband & I were finished eating by the time our kids even got their food. Not one time was we offered a refill, ask how the food was or anything. BTW, the bacon was extremely burnt, the eggs were cold as well as the grits & they forgot half our order. What a mess, very unprofessional, the cook was not wearing gloves as he was preparing food & the bathrooms & restaurant was dirty. The worst experience dining out EVER!!! Save your time & money & do yourself a favor & just go to a different Waffle House.“

“We were visiting from Cincinnati and our hotel was right across the street. We came in for the video games, and I'm so glad that we did! I didn't get to try the beers, since I had to drive, but our food was fantastic. Delicious, good-sized wings... huge sandwiches... addictive fries.
