“I have been there a few times and it never disappoints. The homemade lasagna is to die for . The spaghetti was the proper proportion and just wonderful in taste and texture. I did have one disappointing experience with their taco pizza. It was packed with an overwhelming amount of lettuce and sour cream, making it look unappetizing and far from what we expected. Unfortunately, it was so off-putting that we couldn’t bring ourselves to eat it. I felt bad for wasting a whole pizza, but I just couldn’t get past the sight and smell of it.

Despite that hiccup, East of Chicago has consistently impressed me with their deep-dish offerings. My wife often picks up our orders, and I’ve noticed that the pizza boxes are well-designed to keep the heat in and the food warm, with tightly sealed lids that ensure freshness.

One thing to keep in mind is that I’ve had some issues trying to place orders when they’re open, as there have been times when nobody answered the phone. While I understand that they might be busy restocking, it can be a bit frustrating.

Overall, I highly recommend trying the deep-dish pizza from East of Chicago. It stands out as one of the best in the area, and despite the minor setbacks, it’s definitely a pizza experience worth indulging in!“
