“We stopped in on a whim and we were very pleased! We had a variety of sliders, fries, French onion soup (delicious) and a side salad. The food was great, service was attentive and prices were excellent! It was a little awkwardly quiet at points, so maybe some low music would help, but that's minor. Definitely give this place a try and support your local entrepreneurs!“

“It's easy to find. The staff was friendly but due to what I was told was training they weren't the speediest group and getting a drink refill didn't happen. The food was tasty, but the bun to topping ratio is definitely off. I also wouldn't call them smash burgers as described, too thick to be a smash burger. I do wish there would have been some music or something because it almost felt rude to talk, didn't want to interrupt anyone else. Overall it would be a good summer grab and go location.“

“I wish the seating were more intimate, but it is great for larger parties to sit together. Food was on the spot, and we all enjoyed our meal. I didn't expect chicken varena to be so good. They have great, strong drinks and a large beer selection too.“

“We have been here twice, on two separate trips to Hocking Hills. The perfect casual lunch spot after a long hike. Both times I have gotten the buffet. The salad ingredients are fresh, the warm comfort food hits the spot, and pie for dessert! No frills, but it is very clean and the staff have always been friendly and attentive. The food took awhile, and the servers seemed spread a bit thin, but overall had a good experience. My wings were pretty decent, but the sauces weren't anything to wrote home about. Had part of a prime rib dinner and it was alright (a bit tough). The fries are really good. The music bingo was a great time.“

“Drove to Ohio for a night from NH to pick up my puppy BLU with a friend on 7/28/23. The breeder recommended this place as having the best wings. He wasn't kidding! This place had killer wings. We tried I think 4 different flavors, loved the Japenese BBQ that had some spice to it. It had a funky name but was delicious. We also had a fried shrimp basket that was loaded with succulent fried shrimp and the most amazing homemade hand cut fries that were fried to perfection. We played keno and tried our hand at pull tabs too. We weren't big winners but we didn't lose overall which was a plus. The best win was tremendous service. Our bartender was super attentive and she made sure were well taken care of. Portion sizes were generous. Pricing was also very reasonable. This place was so great its almost worth the 13 hour trip out and 14 hour trip back. Can't wait to stop in again next time I'm out that way. Maybe next year when I get another Frenchton puppy.“

“So needed someplace to go quick before a basketball tournament. There is not a lot of choices within this little area without driving a bit so we tried Handle Bar and Grill. Yes you can bring children in. It's a wonderful little local place and our food was amazing!!! We go to Hocking Hills alot so this will be a repeat visit if we get hungry. I'm glad we happenstanced on it!!“

“Great evening of live music by "Off The Grid"! Very pleasant atmosphere and great service! The servers and I'm sure the kitchen as well were energetic, friendly and definitely on top of everything and on the ball. The bar and restaurant itself inside was very cozy and inviting and the outside back patio was just as nice. Seemed like all the patron's were just as nice and respectful of one another. Definitely will be going back ?“

“So the restaurant is located at a country club so the ambience is very golf/country club-esque. Aside from that, the food was great (big portions for the burger and premium $$ sweet potato fries). Very quick and friendly service. Was worth it and would go back if I’m ever in that neck of the woods.“
