“Outstanding Easter meal at Palazzo. Amazing food and most items are unique to their menu. My husband had the Shrimp Tartufo - Gulf Shrimp, Truffle Cream, Fig Balsamic served in a huge bowl with several nice sized shrimp and I had the Caesar salad. For dinner he had the Capesante Annerite - Lightly Blackened Sea Scallops, Porcini Mushroom Truffle Risotto and I had the Anatra Arrosto - Half Duck, Signature Homemade Orange Sauce, Asparagus and mashed potatoes. Amazing food and service, looking forward to going back there soon.“

“I'm running out of wonderful things to say about Valerio's. It is our favorite Italian restaurant for good reason...the food is delicious, the staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient (especially Salvatore), and the service is excellent. It's the kind of place where you feel as if you are family!“

“We live in the Westpark area and decided on a whim to try Joe De's Pizza (half sheet pizza). It did not disappoint! Our family loves it! We're regulars now. We love how they're open on Mondays when two other local Westpark pizza places are both closed. They deliver and they're friendly. Regular round pizzas are good too. Boneless wings are good. Their poppers with cream cheese! are delicious. Their side salad is average and similar to Athen's Pizza- it's regular iceberg lettuce with no mixed greens or cucumbers but Joe De's provolone cheese is extra delicious. They have desserts that are great too- the cannoli... the shell was fresh and crisp!! No soggy shell which is greatly appreciated. The plain filling is delicious... the only thing that would've made it better was having chocolate chips in the filling. This place is constantly consistent with quality food. We're glad they're here.“

“I was traveling through the area and am very fortunate to have found this jewel! The atmosphere was welcoming and the food was absolutely fantastic!! I started with fried pickles, which were crunchy and simply delightful. Our entrees were incredible. It was obvious that the food was prepared fresh from high quality ingredients, and I want to come back again and again!!!!!“

“Stopped here on my way back to michigan, and this will now be a must everytime I pass through! Staff was super friendly, kitchen was sparkling clean, and you can tell all the food is good quality. French fries were hand cut, meat was super tender, and the au jus is unbelievable. This is a must try, I wish I lived closer!I recommend the Italian beef sandwich, Italian beef eggrolls, and the hand cut fries!“

“The seafood risotto was delightful. Finally, a quiet restaurant where I didn't have to shout or constantly ask for my company to repeat what they said ( I am ~45 and have not lost my hearing yet). My companion ordered the pork dish and was happy with the fact that the gorgonzola was not overpowering. Good replacement for Luca ( used to be my favorite) as I have not been happy with them lately. Will go back. Hopefully, it is just as good next time.“

“What a complete joy to dine at Johnny's. The welcome from first entering into the place (to Bo & Joe & all the others making us feel like they were happily waiting for us to come),, to Nate's great serving and attitude to please —to the actual awesome puttanesca with shrimp and perfectly prepared salmon....why go anywhere else on a Friday in Lent! So grateful for the night!“

“Difficult wheelchair accessibility; coming with a friend or calling the restaurant will be necessary.Excellent little mom & pop, family oriented Italian neighborhood meals. Prices that are extremely reasonable for the high quality of food, generous portions, a focused menu that still has a good selection, and good drinks selection. The veal is prepared very well!Wheelchair accessibility: A single step is required to get in the entrance. A ramp will be provided if a wheelchair is present, but the ramp is extremely short and nowhere close to ADA standards; a manual chair can make it work with assistance, but I recommend not coming in a power chair at all.“

“Visited La Dolce Vita with and on the recommendation of a friend from Cleveland area. Wonderful place! Far from looking run-down the somewhat worn appearance works well, evoking an old-world warm and welcoming location. Stamped tin ceiling panels. The food was excellent, well presented, with generous portions and delivered by a very attentive wait staff. There were no long waits between ordering and the appearance of the plates at our table. The owner even stopped by afterwards, making the rounds, asking if everything was satisfactory. If you're in Cleveland for any reason please stop by La Dolce Vita! You will love it!“

“I like their pizza, garlic bread with cheese , Chix wings & meatballs. I just looked at their menu. I have never had anything from here I didn't like. Tenders - yum - poppers - yum - onion rings/mushrooms -yum . My one & only gripe is the size of the sausage on the pizza. Wish it was bigger pieces. The pizza here is that 70's style pies I grew up on. There are 6 pizza places 1.25 miles near/from my house. Athens wins out. I have not tried the pizza place in the old Uppercrust Pizza spot. You cannot go wrong at Athens Pizza for satisfying food.“

“Came in on a whim but dang dude this was the best Italian sub I've had in Cleveland. I got the classic sub with everything on it. The meat is high quality, the bread is super fresh and tastes homemade, the pickled veggies I added to it were delicious. The chicken Parm was just as bangin and the pepperoni roll was the perfect size and it comes with marinara dipping sauce.“

“So let me just tell you this was above and beyond. I have been to several ‘tasting menu' restaurants in life and this may have surpassed my all time favorite in Denver! Our waitress was Kiera and she was an absolute blast. She was friendly and knowledgeable and made our dinner an experience. I was recently diagnosed with Celiac and my friend is a vegan ... not an eye was batted. Both of us enjoyed our own tasting menu catered to our needs! I cannot say enough good things about this because I have been to many places that force you to get the same menu! It was my very first time eating out after the diagnosis and let me tell you ... I am not worried about bit because all the food I was served was delicious ?“

“Cafe Roma reminds me of an authentic restaurant in Italy. It is a family owned and run business that serves reasonably priced Italian dishes. The Cavalli and meatballs are excellent. The lasagna is enough for two people. They even have Italian cookies and Cannoli. This is one of Westpark hidden secrets!“

“Hands down best pizza I had ever had! Got the large speck pie there and small diavolo to go. Blown away! Great service by the staff and truly was worth the wait! Not one bad thing heard from people telling me about this place. Best advice I can give, there will be a wait but wait for it anyway. Got there around 45 mins after they opened and it was about an hour wait for 2. The wait is all worthwhile!“

“This is a gem of a restaurant on Murray Hill. Barely 10 tables inside, you need to make a reservation if you want one of them. We decided to go same-day but were fortunate to book 2 seats at the bar. Two of us split an app, pasta, and main, which was enough food to feel full but not stuffed. Prices were reasonable and portions were moderate. The gnocchi was savory and the grilled fish was tasty. We split a reasonable priced bottle of white wine. The place was bustling on a Saturday night without being overwhelmingly loud. We'll be back!“

“Recently discovered this little gem. My sister and I originally wanted to find some good wings around as the past few times we’ve ordered them from elsewhere we were not happy with the wings after delivery. We came across pizza fan on DoorDash and ordered the garlic parm and bbq wings. Omg they were PERFECT. So today we had to go back for more we couldn’t stop talking about these wings all day ? we decided to also try a chicken Philly to split. Again pizza fan did NOT disappoint. ? ? very very highly recommend. Service was great the store was clean the gentleman behind the counter were lovely. This is definitely a new favorite of ours. We will definitely be back again and again“

“Excellent cannolli cake! Its a slice for two people.... Best value desert they have! Creamy, custurdy filling and moist cake layers. Topped with chocolate chips.... Gotta have that crunch! Sometimes i get a coffee or capicino with it. Their entrees are great too but...... All i ate was the cake on this visit. I highly recommend just about anything here. Enjoy!Dietary restrictions: Keto options possible..... but not with canoli cake“

“Had a party of 12 and they were able to serve us reasonably quickly. We had the calamari which was pretty good and crispy. I had the bolognese which was okay tasted a bit bland compared to the other dishes. The chicken Marsala was also okay, the sauce tasted a bit too sweet instead of having a more savory flavor. The gnocchi with shrimp was probably the best dish as well as the mussels, clams, and lobster ravioli. Eggplant Parmesan also looked great and was well liked by the crowd. Overall the whole group enjoyed the food and had a fantastic time at the restaurant. Also the parking is free and is “valet” but we ended up parking the car ourselves, finding parking in the little Italy is impossible so this made life easy.“

“This is our absolute favorite place in Cleveland!! The lobster ravioli is the best dish on the menu! Cavatelli is our second choice for dinner. “Went there for my daughter's birthday. Enjoyed a great evening. Her food came out a bit late and though we were enjoying our time, they went out of their way to make it better - they bought a round of drinks, took her dinner off the tab and gave her a "Borgata" snow cap. In addition they had the whole place sing "Happy Birthday". Couldn't have had a better time or a better group of people running the place. Can't wait to go back.“

“We've wanted to try this place for years, but live on the East side, so haven't made it here until now. It did not disappoint! Our waitress was amazing and we loved that she was honest w her feedback about the menu. I started w the Delmonico salad and it was the best combo of dressing and Parmesan cheese that was sprinkled in. I ordered the 8 oz filet with black and blue cheese topping. She was upfront that it could be salty, and it def was but that's how I like it. Husband ordered the Delmonico ribeye with extra onions and he said it melted in his mouth. We can't wait to make it out that way to go again!“

“The food here was amazing and the service was even better. My boyfriend and I wanted to eat downtown but the combination of opening day, the eclipse, and it being a weekday made it impossible to find somewhere downtown, so we “settled” for bar Italia. But as soon as we walked in we realized we made the right decision. The bartender Jessica is amazing at what she does and is so personable and hardworking. The food was so so so good, the bread, lemon parm chicken, and bolognese were to die for. The key lime pie was awesome!! We will be back!! Make sure to ask for Jessica!“

“What a fabulous dinner! From start to finish, everything was incredible. The food was so rich and flavorful. Our server was a delight. The only things that weren't great were the people dining next to us who were a little obnoxious and their cellphones kept dinging. I could also do with the light levels being dimmed a little. But seriously, the food was top notch. Next time I go back I'll sit in the moody bar area. The prices are reasonable and I left with boxes of leftovers for the next day. As far as Little Italy goes, this just jumped to the top of the list.“

“Loved our time at D'Agnese last night. The food was delicious and when I ordered my pasta GF, the chef asked if I wanted my chicken D'Agnese GF too. “Visited here twice the week of 25 March 2024. Maxi's was fantastic; hence the second visit only three days apart. The first trip, I had the Linguine & Meatballs and family had pizza. The sauce is just to my liking - on the sweet side with a bit of kick. The second trip, we had Chicken Parmesan, Penne and meatballs, and Bolognese w/Pappardelle. Bruschetta for appetizer and cannoli's, peach sorbet, and Limoncello creme for dessert. Absolutely fantastic for out non-gourmet, simple taste buds. Pick the patio seating if given the option - was the only option for our second trip (highly suggest reservations); I was hesitant because it was 40 degrees and windy outside, but the patio is enclosed with heaters and was great. We will definitely make this our regular Italian joint on our visits!!“

“A true Mom and Pop pizza shop. You walk in and it instantly gives off that vibe, that you know the food is about to be hitting differently. Just pick up an order and see for yourself. I'm happy to have discovered this place while walking, I never would've known about it otherwise, as it's basically hidden on Pearl Rd. You won't be disappointed, try a pie from this local gem.“
“Hello my family and I have been searching for a place that has pizza like mazzones. It was definitely a standard in my family during the holidays and apparently in others as well. I asked Facebook for recommendations for the best pizza that compares to Mazzones and I ended up getting over 100 comments. Some were places I never heard of and some were popular places. Molisanas wasn't high on the list but it made my list. I picked 5 places so my family can try and Molissnas was number one for all. Not only was the pizza delicious I was able to taste there sausage and it was amazing. The moment I walked in everyone was very welcoming. Thanks for giving us a great pizza and bringing back great memories. Happy Holidays“

“In my opinion, the best sandwich in Ohio. The hot stuffed banana pepper sub is out of this world - freshly baked bread, homemade sausage and sauce with melted cheese. All prepared and baked in the pizza oven to order. The chicken salad and pizzas are also stunning. We drive almost an hour round trip to get their food and every mile is well worth it.“

“The staff here is always polite and quick with curbside and take out options. Great deals all of the time and deals for local students. The food is always great the only variable is in the consistency of portions. Sometimes more than others regardless of how it was ordered. Always great though.“

“I will preface I came here bc I heard they have the best tiramisu in little Italy...and I totally agree! We got seated at the bar bc we didn't have a reservation. The ambience was beautiful (darker in the front, but a beautiful more lit, more open space in the back which I'm not sure is only for events or for regular dining). The tiramisu was WONDERFUL and actually represented tiramisu, I didn't think it needed the chocolate syrup and the fruits just added freshness; overall I loved the taste and we devoured it in a few quick bites, really having to stop ourselves from getting another. They recently increased the price of their dessert menu so it's $12 instead of $10- the rest of their menu was surprisingly affordable. We are definitely coming back for a date night :)“

“Mamma Santa’s was fine, but I’m not entirely sure why it’s considered a local institution compared to other spots in Little Italy. The food on the whole was good, especially the flavorful red sauce (though I wish it had less salt and more fresh basil), perfectly al dente spaghetti, and pungent marinaded olives. I would have been willing to overlook the (unusual) choice of unbreaded eggplant parmesan if the eggplant had been thoroughly cooked. The manicotti would have benefitted from a creamier ricotta filling, and the meatballs from more herbs and seasonings, but both were still above average. About all that can be said for the salad, however, was that it was green. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, which partially, but not completely, made up for the fact that the dining space had all the charm of your grandparents’ unfinished basement.“

“The pizza place has pretty good pizza but the sauce on the pizza is a little sweet and if you don't like sweet sauce then you will probably not like this pizza much especially if you are like me I don't like sweet pizza sauce it tasted like a bag of sugar but other than that it was pretty good my wife liked it and that's the most important thing“

“First time at Pizzeria Cerino as my quest for NE Ohio's best veal parmigiana continues. My wife and I had a meeting out in Seven Hills and wondered in. Got there about 5:30 with no reservation and was seated immediately. Could have been a problem had we come a little later as it filled up fast. Place appeared fairly new, clean with a separate bar area. Food was good, really good. Dinner came with bread and we split a very nice house salad...plenty big enough to share. I had the veal parmigiana and wife had the bolognese. My veal was a solid as any place around town. My wife's bolognese was also very good. I prefer flat noodles instead of stovepipe for bolognese but it was excellent. Portions were very fair for the price and we both had enough for lunch the next day. Split a cannoli for desert. Solid enough. Service was good, friendly and unassuming. Kind of a shame it is so far away from where I live as this is the kind of place that I would frequent a lot.“
