“Went through the drive-thru. First experience with Hardee’s in decades. Guy was helpful answering all my questions and the food was great! Best fast food burger I’ve ever had. Definitely worth the price. Next time I will order a smaller burger but only because I couldn’t finish the one I got. Very happy with my experience.“
“Nice clean environment. Good food. Friendly service. Tucked a little bit away off of the main road but in this area it's one of the few restaurants that are open on a Monday in the area. The fish sandwich that I had was delicious with a nice light crunchy batter.“
“I've never had such a delightful experience at a McDonald's before! Such warm and inviting service by all of the staff! The place was sparkling clean and beautifully decorated for the holidays - it looks like a cafe inside, not a McDonald's. Mobile order but ate inside. Accurate and exactly as expected. Incredibly gracious to our 1-year-old who was excited to explore! Nice booths & clean, sturdy high chairs. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked: electric hand dryer, paper towels and hand sanitizer. Couldn't have been more surprised or delighted - perfect place for families to stop in for a bite!“

“Sunday morning, the place was very busy and there was a wait for our food, but once we got it, we enjoyed it. Ordered the French ie platter. Bacon, eggs, hash browns, and French toast. Four slices and they were thick and dripping butter. Eggs were cooked perfectly, bacon could have been just a bit crisper. Our server was excellent. Attentive and polite. She was the only one working the tables and handled a full house exceptionally well.“
“Great place for breakfast. I had the Sunrise, eggs, sausage, home fries. This was the special. With coffee, total came to $9.07. That is a deal. Food was good and service attentive. Had my coffee refilled numerous times. One of my favorite local breakfast places.Parking: Limited parking in the back. If busy, you will have to park on the street. If very busy, this can be a block away.“
“Now I can’t remember the smash burger I had but I know it had the house specialty sauce. In the first bite, the flavors of each item combined create the taste of fresh ingredients. The beef is fresh and local, as in a few miles away local. Everything that makes up that burger was local. I wish I had a picture to show but I smashed it with the quickness. The taste of that juicy burger left me separated from reality until there was nothing left. At that point I zapped back into reality so I didn’t get a pic. I’ll for sure be back again and hopefully get a picture for you all. Also, in the back, the kitchen is impressively clean. It looked as if they had just moved in that day. I arrived just before closing hours and a manager showed me the operations in the back while my burger was being made. Retro Burger has an excellent standard and that is why I’m recommending it. A negative experience with any business should always be addressed with the business owner first. An owner should always be made aware of any potential issues. “This location is amazing, everyone is always so nice and goes above and beyond. There’s an older lady at the drive through that is always so sweet. Today I picked up two orders and the lady that I met was so incredibly nice, offered to help take my orders to the car and held the door open. This location also helps employ special needs, older, and teenagers and I promise you everyone is so sweet and kind. Even if there are hiccups..you can tell they are genuine and will go above to help find the solution. This is my favorite one in the area.Thank you!“
“We have lunch often at Great Oaks Tavern and we are never disappointed. The service is always good or great (depending on how busy they are) and the food is great. They smoke their own turkey, pulled pork, chicken and more. Salads are fresh and tasty, and the prices are reasonable (as reasonable as dining can be these days. Great Oaks Tavern is a great local grill and put that I would highly recommend.“
“Waitress was very friendly and attentive. The place was very clean, which is great considering it's located at a truck stop. I got the breakfast sampler as shown on the picture I have attached. It looked real good. But it loses one star because instead of crunchy and hot, the hashbrowns were chewy and cold. Loses another star because the food is about 20% more expensive because it's located at a truck stop and like all truck stop restaurants they charge extra to take advantage of truck drivers. So even if your food is 5 stars, you are still going to pay extra for it.“
