Chicken Wings near Shaker Heights

“I ordered a pizza and it took 100 minutes to deliver when the estimate was 55-65 min. When the pizza got here, it was lukewarm at best. Now, why am I giving it 4 stars? Because the delivery driver told me that tonight, there were supposed to be 3 drivers but 2 didn't show so it was only him hurrying along delivering pizzas. The store can't be blamed for this, rather the economy of cleveland as a whole. The bottom line is, I asked for extra sauce and unlike Pizza Hut on chagrin (which closed down), papa johns at this location actually gave me extra sauce on the pizza. They might not be on time, and it seems like it's out of their control, but at least they respect your wishes on your pizza and listen to your instructions.“

“Despite the terrible reviews, I decided to give this location a chance. The inside of the store is quite run down and could use a good scrub. I ordered online and was given an estimated wait time of 15 minutes. There was a long line ahead of me when I arrived, but my food was ready when I reached the counter. The woman at the counter was less than enthusiastic. When I thanked her and told her I hoped she had a nice night she responded with a gruff “mmhmm”. Might have just been having a tough day. The personal pan pepperoni pizza I ordered was tasty though. It was hot and had a good amount of both pepperoni and cheese. I also liked that she was thoughtful enough to put my pizza in a bag with napkins.“

“We don't recommend Lino's because their customer service isn't there. When customers come in and sit down they should be acknowledged. My husband and I read about Lino's being on the PD's list of one of the places that had the best wings. Well, we just left there about 8:30 after walking in, the lady bartender working tonight and I made eye contact, we sat down and she didn't come to see if we wanted to order. We sat for a few more minutes thinking she'd come over or perhaps another person was in the kitchen that would come take our order but that didn't happen so we left. Customer service isn't there at all. We headed over to Craggy"s Boglands Pub and the lady bartender greeted us right away and was very welcoming.“

“Transcendent meal. Chef Liu Fang has taken the authentic flavors and ideas of China and brought them to life in a new way. After living in China for nearly a decade, I generally don’t expect US Chinese cuisine to capture real Chinese flavors. Abundance Culinary was just incredible. The Honey Ma wings are tough to top, and I’ve never had Chinese peppercorns to fresh and fragrant. That numbing sensation is pure happiness. Gong Bao Brussel Sprouts are crack. The Ginseng Chicken is hearty and warming. Wagyu Xiao Chao Beef and Lazi Chicken are both crowd favorites for good reason. Turns out my 11yo daughter likes Lamb Shank. Who knew? The space is so warm and inviting, there can’t be too many 1940s train car diners living as top shelf Chinese Restaurants. Abundance Culinary is truly in a class of its own.“

“Food was mostly good but our server sat at the bar on a laptop most of the time. I had to go up to her and ask for drinks after waiting for refills. The amazing hostess Brenda brought our food out for us and made sure we got everything we needed. Let me say Brenda needs a raise and is the absolute most sweetest woman I have ever met! She was working as hostess, takeout, and bringing food out all while we watched multiple servers sit in the corner of the bar. I truly hope you know what a gem you have working at your place.“

“So, long story short, don't expect any kind of service from the bartender if you come on a Saturday evening. I started not to say anything but after a lot of thought I felt like this needs to be said. My wife and I have visited this place on several occasions usually during the week and had great service from Maggie. However this past Saturday was a complete disaster. We came in to have a burger and beer and after arriving and sitting at a table in the bar area we waited.......and waited ........ and waited. Finally after sitting and watching the bartender who we later learned was Kate socializing with what appears to be her friends for almost 15 minutes we finally flagged a guy walking by asking him if there was a waitress for this area. He stopped immediately and apologized asking what we wanted to drink and then proceeded to go behind the bar and grab our drinks himself. Coming back he apologized and asked if we wanted something to eat and took our order. Our food was later brought out by someone else and the whole time the bartender continued to socialize with the two or three people at the bar that appeared to be friends. Only after our food was brought out did she finally decide to tear herself away from her social group and grace her with her presence, and even this interaction seemed to be a bother to her. Guess I made a long story longer. Point is the bartender Kate is ok if you're in her social group. If you're not forget about getting any kind of service from her.“

If you like spicy wings, this is the place. Wendy's took away the saucy ghost pepper nuggets, just go here for spicy chicken.“

I ordered the 6-piece wing dinner with a side of spaghetti and greens, plus a Polish Boy with fries, BBQ sauce, and coleslaw on top. The wings were fried to perfection — crispy and seasoned well. The spaghetti tasted fresh with a nice pasta sauce, and the greens had a good mix of flavors, definitely homemade. The Polish Boy was solid too, just could’ve used a bit more coleslaw to balance everything out.

Customer service is a work in progress, but to be fair, it looks like it’s just one guy handling everything. Respect to him for holding it down. I’ll definitely be back to try more.“

“I hate chicken wings and when I ordered the fish and chicken combo, I was disappointed that the chicken was two wings. Then I ate them. WOW! They were some of the best wings I've ever had. Perfectly crunchy on the outside (with a tasty breading) and juicy on the inside. The portion of fish they gave, along with fries, two slices of bread, and a drink made the whole meal a great deal for $10. Will definitely be back, probably for more wings!“
