“This is an every weekend staple in our house. We drive 30+ minutes for this BBQ every Saturday. It is the best in the tri-state area, hands down. The service is amazing, and the atmosphere is great. Very welcoming staff, and could not recommend this place more.Dietary restrictions: Good for Gluten Free people, as most of the options they have are natively Gluten Free. Check their website as they have a menu that helps.“
“I ordered the beef rendang on DoorDash, as I'm Indonesian and from Maryland but just moved to Cincy from Myrtle Beach (absolutely no diversity there). It was sweet, spicy, and tender; almost exactly like how my mom would make it. Thank you for a wonderful and refreshing meal to remind me of home, especially as Ramadan is approaching. Absolutely delicious!I do wish the portion size was bigger. Maybe it's because when my mom would cook it, I could keep coming back for more, but it did seem like a bit of a smaller portion for $14.“

“Long overdue for this review. Friend and I stopped at Robert James on our way to the bourbon trail from Columbus, Ohio. Was very surprised by the delicious tater tots, wings (OMG) and chill vibe. Their bourbon was decent too. It's a small micro distillery and you can see the entire distillation and bottling process which is neat. This is a small gem that I would like to see existing for a very long time.“
“Was really good. You pay per bowl. Set up like a buffet but it's the raw ingredients that you take up to be cooked on a giant hibachi grill. There were a lot of vegetables to choose from and thinly sliced meats. You can get a variety of sauce ingredients to get your preference of salty/sweet/heat/garlic flavor. The egg drop soup was good. We added egg rolls which includes a dipping sauce. They were delicious. Service was great especially since we were there during a less busy time of day. The only thing that I didn't like was the fortune cookie has no flavor... Overall a wonderful meal and definitely plan on returning.“

“Very informal restaurant -order at the counter and take food to table. Food was simple, but excellent. Not a lot of food options, but what we did get was VERY good. Ribs and brisket were both excellent. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Many people getting take-out. In warmer weather we would have considered taking the food to a larger outside area.“

“Listen up!! Today was my first time here. I don't know who is in the back cooking, but when i tell you, i want to hug, kiss, and slap them at the same time.. Hands down, this is the best barbeque I've had in a very long time, and i mean it. OMG, everything i got was so good and flavorful. The chicken wings so juicy, mac & cheese, green beans, corn muffin, and pork rinds got me over here in a food coma. This is now one of my new favorite food spots. I even let my hubby taste, and he is not a barbeque person but enjoyed what i got. Lol! I can’t wait to come back.. Thank you!!!“
“Nikki was my server and she was friendly. She recommended us the couples flight which we did. It did take about 30 minutes or more until we got our meat to cook when we were on a time crunch. The table next to us was extremely loud so I was unable to have a conversation with my date. Food was a large amount for fair pricing. We will go back but will ask to be in a more secluded table towards the front.“

“I came here for the first time with my sister yesterday and we will be back’. Lil bartender baby was cute and had exceptional service skills!!I had salmon Alfredo it was perfect as was the garlic toast . My sister had the same thing plus shrimp and the shrimp ruined her whole meal. I knew it would that’s why I opted out of adding shrimp.The shrimp for Alfredo should be grilled or seared. They serve was appears to be raw shrimp that has been heated.I’m giving 4 stars because the food is delicious, service was great and the place was clean. I’d just recommend that you don’t get the shrimp Alfredo. I also recommend they remove it from the menu (it’s really that bad) even the appearance of the shrimp will make you not want to eat the dish. If I hadn’t had the same thing she may have never even tasted the plate. “Finally stopped by to try the bbq here, and I was not disappointed at all! Mr. Jones was very friendly to me and the other guest while we were ordering our food and even offered us a couple of little samples. I ended up getting a half rack of ribs with a side of baked beans and Mac and cheese. I'm usually very picky about ribs and usually throw them out, but these tasted great and were a nice portion! The baked beans were also delicious with a brown sugar taste to them. Lastly, the Mac and cheese was also very good. Everything tasted like a great homemade bbq and not something you would get at a chain. Will definitely be back!“

“This is one of my absolute favorite restaurants. I have to watch my calories and carbs, so hot pot works well for me because I just get protein and vegetables. I’m there almost once a week and I travel 30 minutes to get there, I love it so much! The service is also outstanding. My only critique is that they charge $3.95 for soda water from the fountain. I don’t know any establishment that charges for soda water.“

“This is a great place for group dinner- came in with a group of 8 colleagues and we had a great meal. Decided to do the hot pot and BBQ (their rules won't let you mix for the table, so if you all don't want to do BBQ OR hot pot, you have to pay for both for everyone in the party). They have a buffet area with a few appetizers, desserts and a sauce station. Appetizers were ok, and by the end of the meal none of us had room for dessert- so I can't comment on that. Our server was great, explained the process, was very attentive during the meal bringing additional food as needed and advising on how much food was needed. They have plenty of protein options (we had a pescatarian in our group) and veggies. Only thing to note, after a while of the BBQs running, it did get a bit smoky around the table. To the point some of our eyes started watering. But at that point we just asked for the grills to be turned off since we were done using them.“
