The gentleman that runs the night shift is quite unique in his customer service skills and does a fantastic job as my drink/order is always on point! I have found that he speaks very broken English and thus creating frustrating communication barrier- and comes off very much as rude- however he has a lovely smile IF you can get him to smile!“

“party of 3 _ 3/1/2025 Had breakfast at Toast and Berries arrived early no waiting great service, great food, had spinach and gouda and Gouda and bacon omelets and super fluffy pancakes and our portions were a really good size, coffee was fresh, our waitress was wonderful,she was a busy doing prep stopped and seated us was very attentive and made our visit great. Perfect place to work, and everyone is very nice. I really appreciate the hours they are open since I like to come after work and they are one of the only coffee shops open later in the area. :)“

My mom and I are officially hooked on the iced Teddy Bear latte! 😜 We’ve already made 3 visits in the last couple weeks and one Door Dash trip! “Me and my mom have been coming here for almost 2 years now — we started coming here because the coffees tasted just like the ones back in WA state; rich coffee, teas, and treats at a good price. The first year we came here, it was great customer service, they never messed up our drinks, and overall just a friendly environment to be in. Recently however, the drive to this coffee shop hasn’t been worth it. Our drinks have gotten repeatedly messed up, haven’t had very friendly encounters, and just overall felt like we weren’t welcomed. Making the 10-15 commute here used to feel so worth it, but it now feels like a gamble if I’m even gunna get what we paid for.

Look, I understand. I’m a barista myself and have worked a plenty of customer service/drive thru shops, yet there’s just no reason for that. If you don’t understand a customers order, it’s okay to say “I’m sorry, I didn’t quite catch that, what was it?” Or to repeat it back to them. Yes, people get frustrated, but it’s a whole lot better than giving something that’s completely not what they asked for and getting an angry customer.“
