“This super cute black owned spot was everything and more! From placing our order with the courteous young lady at the front, to being smiled at by the cooks in the kitchen, all the way to the young man that brought our food to our table. Outstanding!! All of that and the food was…speechless!!????? I can’t say enough about this great experience! We will definitely be back!“
“Very informal restaurant -order at the counter and take food to table. Food was simple, but excellent. Not a lot of food options, but what we did get was VERY good. Ribs and brisket were both excellent. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Many people getting take-out. In warmer weather we would have considered taking the food to a larger outside area.“

“Drove in to Ohio from Dallas for a special occasion and stumbled upon this place and I’m so glad we did! We were only in town for a few days and everyday we were there, we made sure to go grab some food from here. I had whiting and wings on the first day, catfish and wings on the second day, on our way back to Dallas we stopped and I got catfish and 2 legs and a wing! The food is so good and is seasoned so well! The dessert is also to die for! We tried sweet potato pie, lemon cake, Oreo cake, and the cheese cake with strawberry swirl ALL of the desserts were YUMMY especially the Oreo cake! I recommend everyone to try this place and if you don’t or haven’t you are missing out for sure! The guys behind the counter is very kind and cool (especially Souhipe)…he noticed that we came to eat 3 days in a row and gave us or last meal for FREE!!! Now that’s customer service right there!“
“The food is good and consistent, but it is honestly overpriced for what you're getting. One scoop of chicken salad and some crackers is not worth nearly $10. If you're looking for somewhere a little healthier to drive thru and don't mind the extra buck, I do recommend it.“
“3/20/24I tried the Chicken and waffles and it was good. The butter and the pickles made it a good combination ?. Mac n cheese and parm fries were okay. Katelyn was friendly and went out of her way to give me an extra tender w/o me even asking because I was unsure how hot the flavor I got would be for my daughter. Ella’s fav wasn’t plain nor spicy— I recommend.“

“Plaquards on table advertising special $5 deal, but wouldn't honor because it's not on waiters iPad. Later said it was for to go orders. Then why are they on each of the dine-in tables? Even hostess thought it was for dine in because they were on dine-in tables. Just confusing advertising.“

“Always a great place for a nice meal, our service was great! But this last time I visited I wanted to order to go and could get no help. The young man behind the desk told me the lady would be right out. I stood there for over 15 mins waiting for help. Then a lady from the back that was waiting tables said someone would be with me, ten minutes later a young lady came out and took my order. I could see if the restaurant was busy but it was only few people at tables. I feel someone should have went to find someone to help me after 5 minutes.“
