It also came with a baguette, which was fresh. I would most likely order again.“

“Kafela is a St. Clair-Superior neighborhood gem! This breakfast and lunch cafe gives off such a positive vibe from the moment you walk in. I was greeted not only by a friendly face at the counter, but also many large green plants and sunlight filling the space. All of the menu items are named after locations and nods to sunny Los Angles. I got the Berry Much L.A. smoothie which was delish. I also got the Lavender Love Spell drink, which was lemonade with a lavendar butterfly tea that sparkled! For my meal, I got the chicken ceasar wrap with a side of sweet potato fries. The wrap was good. Classic caesar, although the chicken was well seasoned and I liked that the wrap was partially toasted. The sweet potato fries were delicious. When I inquired about the seasoning on the fries, I was told that they made their own sunshine blend to sprinkle on top. I couldn't place the flavors, but it was amazing! The star of my meal was the deep fried oreos. I wanted to leave with something sweet and these oreos did not disappoint! They had a chocolate drizzle and powdered sugar on top and came with a scoop of vegan vanilla ice cream. Fried oreos are usually only good when they're hot, I ate these cold all throughout the day and enjoyed every bite. The best part of Kafela is seeing how much of a gathering space it's become for people in the neighborhood. There were so many members of the community coming in throughout the time I was there to pick up a smoothie, order lunch, or just say hello and chat with the owner or other patrons. It truly felt like a place you could call home and I loved that.“

I've tried almost everything on the menu at least once, and never had a bad experience. Tonight, french onion soup and a mushroom soup special. Both amazing. “I stop here when I am home, and I love their pastries soooo much. Their lunch foods can be hit or miss. The pastries, though, delectable. Their easter pastries are so yummy. I love the chocolate mousse, raspberry mousse, fruit tart, peanut butter brownie, and kolaczkis. I had their quiche for the first time the other day, and I was pleased! A coffee is always good here, too. Gellato in the summer is also a nice treat. Just make sure to take a number and wait to be called when you walk in. My family has ordered large cassata cake here over the phone for an event, too, and it did not disappoint!Parking: I always park on random street a block away and usually find something. It is a challenging coffee shop to sit and read a book in with the loud pop music playing, and the occasional ad from not paying for their streaming service. Aside from the music, I’d like if the lighting was a little warmer. But overall it’s an enjoyable place to be and makes nice use of a historic structure in downtown Willoughby.“

He suggested an Italian wine which my husband said was fantastic. Food was made to order with attentive service. “I love Cafe Europa. Had a taste for the chicken paprikash and so stopped in and it was summer and raining out, so it was quiet inside It's only a few patrons in one on the covered patio. Love their homemade Italian dressing for the salad and the chicken paprikash taste it was great as always, a generous portion. Enough potential room though for the dessert. Couple of beers available and wine by the bottle if you're inclined to have a drink too. Very comfortable eating here alone.“

“My husband recently had some dental work done and was starving but couldn't eat anything too solid. He said he wanted Zoup! Thankfully it was not at all crowded so that he could inspect all of the soups to find ones that he could eat. I got the chicken pot pie and the attendant gave me crust crumbles ? to go with my soup. My husband got the burger cheeseburger soup which he devoured once we got home. The only thing I didn't like was that the attendant let us know three times that she did not like the burger cheeseburger soup and that he should try it first. After we both tried it and liked it, she continued to project her disdain for the soup. Otherwise this would have been a five-star experience. I highly recommend it, and will be going back for more... Hopefully in peace.“
