“This was my first time going to the Phoenix Express in Stow. When I walked in to my surprise there weren't very many people but as soon as they took our order they were very busy at work. I wanted to try the Sushi Omakase after seeing pictures online. I thought I would have to travel at least 15-45 minutes to get this sushi anywhere else and was very pleased to see this here. What a hidden gem! Highly suggest this place, the customer service was top tier and they even came out and explained each piece of sushi to us! It was like art! Very enjoyable and highly recommended.Dietary restrictions: The chef was kind enough to ask if we had any allergies before preparing our food.Parking: Lots of spots in Stow plaza.Kid-friendliness: Looked like a nice open atmosphere.Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible.“

“Taste of Bangkok is the best Thai food you are going to find in Akron Ohio. The people there are super nice, take your order within minutes of you getting seated. The service is exceptional, the food tastes amazing and there is not a single item on the menu that is not worth trying. They even give out candy at the end when you are cashing out. It is amazing.“

“I tried the eggplant in garlic sauce tonight and it was phenomenal! It's a super flavorful vegetarian dish and a great non-spicy option from the Sichuan menu. The eggplant was cooked perfectly and the sauce was rich, garlicky, and slightly sweet. I will absolutely order it again and would highly recommend it.“

“Cilantro is probably one of my favorite lunch spots. I come here all the time and the service is always pleasant, the atmosphere is always nice, and the food is always great! Well priced for lunch and big portions for dinner. My favorites are their sashimi (canal combo), yakisoba, and duck basil. The new wing zap appetizer is so good, too. “Placed a takeout order. The system is a little confusing and frusterating. Didn’t have to wait too long for the food and the people helping were very lovely. Most of our order was correct but the food that we got was wonderful. The rolls are all reasonably priced and the ingredients appeared fresh.“

Unfortunately, the server, a young man, was not hospitable and forgot our fried rice. The other server, the lady, was nice and attentive. “I arrived at a typical strip mall Chinese restaurant for my first visit. I found the place quiet with a smattering of people as it was an early Dinner. The four of us were greeted at the door and seated at a corner table. Reviewing the menu, we decided on the family style dinner for 4. This allows each to enjoy their choice of entrees and sides. It also includes a fixed appetizer, soup and beverage. The food arrived in stages by an attentive server. The food was prepared to perfection and the presentation was well received. The only issue was that the fried pork was gristly and over done. Other than that, the food was delicious with ample portions. The price was reasonable. I intend to return in the future to this gem of a modest restaurant.“

“If you're looking foe ambience, this is not your place. But if you're looking for delicious and fresh, this is the place. I had the Christmas Roll and loved every bite. It's not cheap, but frankly, sushi shouldn't be cheap! Service was friendly, and I didn't have to wait very long for my meal. I will be back, for sure.“

“Visited on a Saturday evening. First time there and our waitress Stephanie was amazing as she explained how to order the boil and seasoning and spice level. The result was perfect! I am also kinda new to sushi and she also recommended 2 perfect options. The place was clean, ambiance nice, parking convenient and price was in line with what i would expect. This will definitely be a stop when we are downtown Akron in the future. Oh and the drink selection was very good also if that is your thing.“

“My friend group have come here for dinner 3 times, and we’ve had consistent good experiences. One of us gets sushi, and has really liked all of the different rolls. One of us is vegetarian and all options have been delicious. Then one has gotten the beef and chicken skewers and loves the katsudon. We have enjoyed everything that we’ve tried and the staff is very friendly. We usually go in around 5PM when they open for dinner, and it usually isn’t busy. We all recommend trying this place! Everything is clean and nothing feels too close together. The atmosphere and seating are pretty open.Vegetarian options: I am unsure if all of the sauces are vegetarian or not, but there is a category with around 10 options that are marked as vegetarian and some vegetarian appetizers as well.“

Open till 1:30 for late night munchies , hits the spot every time . We have dined in and had great service & several carry out orders that are packed with care & always right ! “I've only been there twice; one time the first week they opened and one time just recently. Both times, the staff were friendly and while it was a slow hour this last time, the atmosphere was good with nice music.My main two complaints are that it seems like they run out of things a lot, which wasn't too much of an issue since the staff were quick to recommend alternatives and I was able to try something new. The second complaint is that their rice tastes and feels a little different from what I'm used to. I'm not sure if it's overcooked or if there's just too much water, but it ends up sticking together a little too much and seeming a little too soft compared to a lot of sushi rice I've had. It isn't terrible or inedible, but it is probably my biggest complaint and the main reason for only four stars instead of five.Other than that, I had some boba the first time I was there and it was great! They were very helpful with suggesting a flavor my mom would like since it was her first time getting boba. The food is also pretty good once you get past the rice, I really like their spicy bowls and they go really heavy on the furikake, which I love since a lot of places go kind of light on it. I haven't had any of their sushi burritos but I plan to try one out some time when I get the chance to go back. The price was pretty standard for poke, I would expect to spent between $10-15 per bowl.Overall, if the place was closer or did delivery to my area, I would definitely go back more often!Parking: Parking is pretty easy. The location is a little out of the way so the lot is usually empty. There's plenty of spots up close too if you're in a wheelchair or have trouble walking.“

“Staff and service are totally satisfied.The store is clean.But I kind of disappointed with the food and drink.I got the Matcha milk bubble tea, Boba is hard and the tea tastes weird. The ramen was too tasteless for me. The pork belly is not tender and the egg is hard-boiled, not soft-boiled.Gyoza looks different but still ok.The portion is big a lot of noodles and pork belly.I was so hungry, so I ate all the noodles. It's not that good but still can eat.Try yourself you might like it more than me ;)“
