“Tried first time today, 5 star for good pizza but the mild buffalo and BBQ wings weren't good to me , I didn't know they broast the wings which makes for soft skin, I usually expect crispy chicken wings, I tried to crisp them a bit under the broiler but didn't really work out, im sorry to say the wings get 1 star“

“I've been getting food from here for years. I currently go in house at least once a week. the staff knows me and my order and are always friendly. I recommend FP to everyone I talk to. keep up the good work!“

“I went in and picked up 2 pizzas between 430 and 5 o'clock. I actually called the manager over and told him that I think this is one of the cleanest pizza shops that I have seen in a long time. It's an open type pantry kitchen where you can look in there and see what's going on. At all times the workers were all cleanly dressed and they had either hair nets on or they had ski hats on so they did not get hair in the food. We ordered their garden sprain in a 16 inch with pepperoni, and also ordered a cauliflower 12 inch. With half pepperoni in the garden pizza, it was very delicious and I would highly recommend it.“

“I will be honest, I haven’t eaten there yet but just had the greatest experience that restored my faith in humanity just a little bit. I was in the Akron area for training with TNVC and I assume my iPad was stolen. Today it pinged at someone’s house and then it pinged in the parking lot of the Basement a few hours after I locked it and left a message for the would be thief. I called and spoke with Stephanie, and after explaining what had happened she was king enough to walk to the parking lot while I pinged it. The thief had dumped my iPad in the dumpster, thankfully not too deep. I just wanted to say that Stephanie was amazing for being such a good person and helping someone with no expectation of receiving anything in return. Next time my family and I are in the Akron/waterloo area I will make sure I patronize The Basement if only to help repay a bit of the kindness shown! This is how a neighborhood restaurant does it!“

“My son ordered chicken and jojo's from this place. They were really good and was reasonably priced. I can say they were busy watching the people go in and out of this business. The parking lot is the worst part just trying to get into a parking space but the food was good.“

“I went to Regina’s for the first time to try out their food, and I’m so glad I did! They do have a drive-through option, but going inside is definitely worthwhile. Don’t be deterred that you have to get buzzed in—I was told that was a result of COVID and having to control how many people are in a room at once. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and there are arcade games you can play for free!
As for the pizza, it was top-notch. I got the deluxe pizza and it was loaded with toppings. The sauce had a nice spice to it, and the dough had just the right amount of bite. I also got the chicken tenders with garlic parm sauce, and that was delicious as well. Make sure you check this local gem out!“

“Our first time here. Reccomended by a friend. We had the fried mush and eggs with bacon, Irene's biscuit and sausage gravy which came with 2 sausage patties and potatoes, and a bowl of grits. The grits were authentic grits, sausage gravy had big chunks of sausage in it and they make their own mush. It was all very excellent and reminded us of Grandma's cooking. Well worth the drive. We plan to come back to come back since there's do many things to try.“

“Decent food for the price most items are $20 or less. The food is not great here but it's not bad. Very passable. The salmon bowel was overcooked and dry, but the rice and Brussel sprouts were excellent. The wait for food to come out was really long, though, like it took well over 30 minutes. If you inly order the grinders, the food seems to come out much faster. The baked sweet potato was fine it is nothing special it is just a plain potato.“

“This happens to be one of the best Mexican restaurants I have visited in northeast Ohio. The service was outstanding. Their menu had a wide variety of food choices as you can see when reading the menu. A nice selection of delicious tacos with beef, chicken, cheese as well as enchiladas with the same type of protein choices. Offering combinations to please everyone, well at least our party. Their Shrimp cocktail, fish, shrimp entrees, Chalupa was really tasty. As far as combinations, a favorite is always Chile Relleno. They offered various combinations including one Chile Relleno, one Beef Taco and one Chalupa with many more combination platters. But a favorite was the Fajita Cozumel entree. Everyone at the table enjoyed their food.“

The payment system froze while I was there and the gentleman that I think is the owner or manager that was there at the time comped my order even though I offered to stay until it was up and running to pay, but they insisted that they comp me for the inconvenience. Which, it really wasn’t an inconvenience at all. All in all a lovely experience!“

“I like it. The unit is nice and it’s a plus because everyone has their own private room and bathroom. Management and office is great they respond in timely a manner & will help solve any problem if you contact them about it. I only rated 4 stars because unfortunately I was put in the same unit with people that don’t clean up after themselves. When I moved in the place was looking a mess and it isn’t management fault, but the people in the unit isn’t keeping up with the place.“

“My daughter and I were intrigued about the salsa bar! We walked in and were immediately greeted. We took our time looking over the menu. So many choices that sounded equally delicious. I chose a half quesadilla and my daughter ordered the pork tacos. We also decided on chips and queso for an appetizer. I was shocked at the amount of queso that came with the chips! Plenty for the chips and then some! And wow, it was quite tasty! The half quesadilla was the perfect size for lunch and we're the tacos for my daughter. I loved the salsa bar. They were all labeled with ingredients and heat level. I enjoyed creating my own blend. Yum! We couldn't quite finish our whole meal so we got containers to go and a lid for the queso. We would definitely come back to eat again!“

I don't usually care for chain restaurants or franchises because I shouldn't, but I dunno man, Marcos has done right by me in the past with their various pizzas and such. The Kent location deserves a bit of vital energy; give it a visit even if you just get some wings or something, round up a tip or donate a lil cash to charity. Just enjoy your dang pizza.“

I would have given 5 stars, but we didn't get blue cheese sauce for the wings, and my wing order included only drumettes (no wingettes, which are my favorite). I ordered mild buffalo wings and they were tasty. Hubby ordered garlic parmesan and he said they were very good. The side salad was very fresh.

We ordered a small thin crust with pepperoni and green olives, and the cauliflower crust with pepperoni and mushrooms. Both crusts were crispy. Strangely cut into tiny pieces.

Two other comments:
1) the place was empty when we arrived at 6:30 p.m., so we were concerned that the food would be terrible (it was not).
2) the pizza had cornmeal on the bottom, which I don't care for (yes, I know why it's there, but the pizzeria I worked at in NY didn't use it, so it's not completely necessary).“

“The you pick two; chicken fontega flatbread and broccoli cheddar soup is still my go-to and favorite from Panera. Food is always pretty solid, you know what you're getting. I'm convinced that they also make the best sugar cookies around! Service is what it is, the employees are kind.“
