“It was so warm and friendly when we came in, the servers were very friendly and helpful when we said it was our first time there. Sitting at the back bar, you get a great view of the cooks making your ramen. The food was amazing, I got Shoyu ramen and my partner got the Bacon Ramen and both were delicious. They portions are large and I ate my fill and had left overs to take home for later. Will be adding them to the rotation of restaurants when we go to Toledo for dinner.“

“Tried Bombay kitchen at my moms suggestions and we have added another happy food place to our list excellence is the one word for this place where the service is warm and friendly we had the chicken samosa with flavors that dance an aloo tikki chaat that presented as delightful as the textures and flavors it bestowed and the paneer dosa you just have to share with someone this place is spot on we will be back soon“

“We had a birthday party here with about 30 people. Kim was so helpful and kind with the planning process. On the actually night, all our guests had delicious meals with fast service. Our waitresses were efficient and friendly the whole time. All the food is amazing. I've never had a bad meal here. This has become one of my favorite places to eat downtown. Go visit them, you won't be sorry! Fantastic food!“

“Have been going here for along time. First time ordering pizza though. I ordered extra sauce which I did not get and only ate a few slices. I asked to get extra sauce to take home and the waitress said it would cost $2.00 more. But she wasn’t sure. We had to ask again about the sauce after we paid the bill. She said they would not give us extra sauce!! Hmmm!! Really? So for all you that like extra sauce on your pizza… they don’t do that! Also, the waitress never took any of our dirty dishes away.“

“Eclectic decor in a super cool old building that was the first building in Downtown Toledo to be wired for electricity! Wow we sent our compliments to the chef, everything was absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. They have won awards for their original cocktails and the bartender did not disappoint. Excellent waitress who deserved every penny of her tip. We will be back!“

“We just moved to the Toledo area and I was thrilled to find a Korean restaurant. I got one of my favorite Korean dishes which is the Chap Chae. It was absolutely wonderful! My best friend was trying Korean cuisine for the first time and she got the Chicken Bibimbap. She said it was delicious. I was so happy and relieved that she could share my love of Korean food and wants to come back sometime soon.“

“Amazing pizzas made in their wood fired brick oven pizzas made fresh to order. We ordered five pizzas and they were brought to our table within 10-15 minutes.

Pizzas are thin crust, which we enjoy and large for one to individually enjoy. Toppings are plentiful and brought to you straight from the oven to your table.

Cozy atmosphere, Christmas lights, and multiple little country flags on the walls; while waiting for our food we trivia'ed ourselves on how many we knew.

It's a great local place for a dine in for a pizza, and we continue to come back.“

“Super great bar staff on Tuesday nights. He always remembers our order and always gets it right. Pizza's and salads are wonderful and would highly recommend both. On Tuesday night, 8/19 I was a little disappointed as they changed from paper plates and plastic silverware to China Plates and Real Silverware. I had a real knife that was serrated for a right-handed person and I am left-handed, lol. Please go back to paper and plastic as it feels more like home. Thanks“

“I ordered a pumpkin pie and a pumpkin roll for Thanksgiving. It was very good and I really liked the option of nuts for the pumpkin roll.

They accepted orders much later than other bakeries as well. When I picked up the order, the staff was super friendly despite being super busy.

Aside from holiday items, I highly recommend the cronuts, especially the Boston Crème ones.“

“Chef Erika Rapp never disappoints and every visit to this wonderful restaurant reaffirms it as my favorite place for our Anniversary dinner. I look forward to the coconut, chorizo and sweet potato steamed muscles that she has had on the fall menu consistently for the last 5 years. And being Gluten Free the care Chef Erika takes to offer many delicious options, means I can always find the perfect meal. Last night the fish dish was perfection, from the perfectly cooked cod, to the savory and slightly sweet delicata squash puree to the textural elements of the crisp broccolini and the crunch of the pomagranate and pepitas. And the dish paired wonderfully with a crisp Sauvignon Blanc. After enjoying a basket of gluten free pop-overs (another favorite treat) and appetizers I was stuffed, but the dish was too delicious to leave even one bite on the plate. Our server Miranda was fabulous. Attentive, friendly, knowledgeable and added so much to our dining experience. I highly reccommend.“

It truly was an amazing experience. food was great, amazing vegan options. there was a book club going on and it was awesome to listen to. “Great locations! Yes, there is more than one Balance restaurant! Awesome to see a forward thinking organic dining experience in the Toledo/Sylvania area. Definitely a much needed change in restaurants in the city! The fast causal style flows really well and the intricate and extraordinary layout is obviously well thought through and made to enhance the visit. Kudos to the upper management for embracing their individual styles and making the art, music, and aura their own and doing it well. The employees do this well too, love the Propaganda Pirate (yes, his business card says that), Justin who is often there and making my time even better each time!

The menu is simple if you take a minute to read the nicely designed, quality paper ones and there are also several digital menus for appetizers/sides, drinks, and entrees. Not to mention the employees are decently well versed in the menus and take time to help you out if you don't quite get it. I've been there several times now and have tried a variety of their products. The possibilities are endless with the entrees especially, you can make so many tasty combinations!!! They are very nice about answering questions and sometimes go way above and beyond to find out specifics. The philosophy behind the place seems spot on!

I don't even know where to start with the tea bar! I am so excited that Balance brought bubble tea to the area market and done it in such a manner that everyone can find a flavor combo they love. The hot teas are also nice, there is a good selection and it doesn't take too long. I notice some people during my visits and otherwise have made comments about crowding and slow service... it is a fast casual restaurant and a popular one at that. When there a ton of people around you, it is going to take a little longer to get your food and there might not be a place for you to sit. That's the way it goes, the absolute simplest ideals of SUPPLE AND DEMAND people! The fact that they expanded more than once to accommodate the growing demand and interest is respectable. This is not easy to do!! I can't wait for them to expand into more locations to even further accommodate the needs of our area and doing it with a smile and good intentions to supply healthy dining experiences to a city that quite frankly is in the top 10-15% for obesity and cardiovascular disease in the WORLD (feel free to look it up if you don't believe me).

This is a stellar movement and I support it. Stop in and try it out, I have no doubt if you go in with an open mind and a decent appetite (and enough time if you're going during expected lunch and dinner rushes), you WILL NOT leave disappointed!!!“

“I order weekly from them from Door Dash. This week the order was wrong. I got a chicken schwarma sandwhich, fries, and diet coke. I recieved a beef schwarma sandwhich, fries, and no drink. I called them and the lady was very friendly. She was very apologetic and no questions asked made it correct.

The food are large portions and the prices are cheaper than other meditteranean places in the area. The food is tastes great. Customer services is a 10/10.

I marked 4 for Atmosphere because there isn't really a ton of room to sit and eat. It's more for take out.“
