“We went today for our first time for the Sunday brunch special and oh. my. goodness. They had everything you could want. Breakfast included quiche, biscuits and gravy, bacon, sausage, kielbasa and eggs. Also pancakes and Belgian waffles. Brunch had homemade mac n cheesecake which was some of the best ive ever had. Turkey with mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, prime rib, ham. I mean i was literally in heaven. But the star of the show was definitely the turkey and the mac n cheese. Absolutely amazing. This is our new spot forsure ❤️“

“5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ One great thing about this place besides the great food, staff, and service compared to ANY OTHER RESTAURANT in town is these people understand what their posted hours truly mean. . If the post theyre open 7am to 3pm and I walk in this place at2:59pm I get to sit down and eat! I've NEVER EVER heard them say,"well the kitchen is already closed and we close at 3pm. Try that at any other restaurant in town and see what happens“

“On 12/19/25 was our first time ever eating here. It is a simple menu. We got the medium heat. The chicken and fries were delicious. The medium is a good flavor not too hot. “We had a birthday party here with about 30 people. Kim was so helpful and kind with the planning process. On the actually night, all our guests had delicious meals with fast service. Our waitresses were efficient and friendly the whole time. All the food is amazing. I've never had a bad meal here. This has become one of my favorite places to eat downtown. “Have been going here for along time. First time ordering pizza though. I ordered extra sauce which I did not get and only ate a few slices. I asked to get extra sauce to take home and the waitress said it would cost $2.00 more. But she wasn’t sure. We had to ask again about the sauce after we paid the bill. She said they would not give us extra sauce!! Hmmm!! Really? So for all you that like extra sauce on your pizza… they don’t do that! Also, the waitress never took any of our dirty dishes away.“

“Really, this place is a hidden gem in Toledo. We stopped here on our trip from Chicago to Cleveland and were looking for somewhere to eat when I found Korean food. “We went to Shorty's after having issues at another restaurant. Shorty's really took care of us, both in terms of service and food quality. I had a half rack of ribs, and they were quite tasty without needing additional sauce. My wife had a pork stuffed potato, and it was quite satisfying, as well. It had the right balance of potato to toppings. We've been to Shorty's a few times now, and they have always done a good job.“

“I can't say enough great things about this restaurant. My wife and I have been to every Mexican cuisine restaurant around the MI/OH border in the Toledo vicinity. We have never had a bad meal. Always great, and as an added plus their margaritas are Best in Toledo. The staff is fantastic, and the food comes out hot and quick. We stopped in once again last night. It doesn't get better than this!“

“Super great bar staff on Tuesday nights. He always remembers our order and always gets it right. Pizza's and salads are wonderful and would highly recommend both. On Tuesday night, 8/19 I was a little disappointed as they changed from paper plates and plastic silverware to China Plates and Real Silverware. I had a real knife that was serrated for a right-handed person and I am left-handed, lol. Please go back to paper and plastic as it feels more like home. Thanks“
