“From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by Charles. Our service was quick and friendly, the food and drinks were fresh and delicious. I had the seasonal pumpkin pancake which had just the right amount of pumpkin flavor. Upon checking out, Chris, Anton, and Charles bid us a friendly goodbye that would leave most anyone feeling great! We will definitely come back to this location!“

And our server Jake, was wonderful. Friendly and attentive. If you're in the area of the MGM Northfield, be sure to stop at Danspot. You will be glad you did.“

For a small sit down/carry out restaurant, I thought the place was super clean and new looking with white quartz counters and white wall tiles. Looks very new inside.“

“I went here twice in the three days I was visiting. Everything was great. The place has an old fashioned diner vibe. Food was freshly made and no matter how busy they were, and they were definitely busy, the food came out so fast! The food was very good for breakfast. I recommend the pancakes and western omelette! “This was my first visit here. Ihave a huge serving of weiner Schnitzel with potato dumplings. Beyond excellent!! Salad was very fresh and nice. Staff was as attentive as you could ask for. My picky grandkids ate everything! So did the vegetarians among us. One caveat. Thecrestayrant us not handicapped accessible. We could wheel a chair in through the kitchen to get in but bathrooms were too small for even a walker, no rails beside the toilets. Don't even try the bathrooms--you could get hurt. Suggest railings be added to the walls outside the cubicles and inside them so someone with a cane could manage with no walker. A cheap fix--railings. Loved the place!“

“It was our first time visiting this establishment and we will definitely return. The food (crab cake, blackened snapper, and lobster ravioli w/shrimp) all flavorful with nice portion size. The drinks (old fashion, blackberry peach margarita and blood orange side car) made by Ashley were exactly how they needed to be. Our server Ebony was great, very attentive and gave honest recommendations. We were even gifted an extra meal that we were thankful for.“

“We had a large party and were seated in a private room. The space was comfortable and well-designed, with adjustable lighting options (on, off, or dim) and small lamps on each table that created a cozy atmosphere. Water was already set out when we arrived, and the menus were neatly placed on the plates.

The service was excellent. Multiple staff members checked in throughout the meal, making sure everything was perfect. They cleared used plates and silverware between courses and explained how the dining experience worked, noting that sides would be served “family style” to share.

I ordered the 6 oz filet, which came with bone marrow and was perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor. For appetizers, several of us had the French onion soup and fried artichokes, both of which were absolutely delicious. For sides, we enjoyed steak fries, whipped potatoes, dauphinois potatoes (my favorite), and grilled asparagus. Every dish was exceptional.

Overall, the entire experience was exceptional — from the atmosphere and service to the incredible food. I’ll definitely be coming back in the future.“

The establishment provides great food, great pricing, personable and timely bar staff, and conversation with anyone and everyone.
