“Food is quite limited, if you’re going, you’re going for the drinks.
I have no idea what it’s like between Thurs-Saturday; however, most of the week it’s pretty slow paced, but they do have the option to play the jukebox through your phone.
Bartenders are great, people are great, atmosphere is chill.“

“I stopped in to the filling station for the first time ever yesterday, and was pleasantly surprised. There I met Devon who greeted me in a very timely manner. Was greeted with a smile and thanked me for stopping by. The service was impeccable. I later met Nicole who was equally attentive and provided fantastic customer care. Food was awesome and reasonably priced. Often times when I stop into a bar for the first time I’m ignored for the “regulars”. Not here on the contrary Devon and Nicole treated me as if I was a regular who had been going there for years!! Thanks to all I’ll be back.

“Who knew a little out-of-the-way bar hidden in Clintonville would have the absolute BEST italian subs I've ever had?! My mom and I have lunch together there every Friday and they know when we walk in that we're going to split a sub. Don't even have to order! And they are extremely reasonable price. Best deal in town!“

“Great dive bar. Wings are pretty good and the food and drinks are pretty cheap. They do karaoke sometimes although I've never been. I was reluctant to go because of location, you're not sure if it's POC friendly but it isn't an issue. Good local spot.“

“I’ve never had a bad time at Eight and Sand. The food is beyond impressive and it is reasonably priced. You will not catch me missing the $1 wings every Tuesday and the veggie wrap is incredible. Don’t sleep on the weekly food specials they are always a tasty little surprise! Friendly outgoing staff all around, an awesome patio, and a chill vibe inside. It’s my very favorite bar, there isn’t another like it!“

“Love this place, but really? Kitchen closes at 9pm during Ohio State and Notre Dame Championship game that started at 730. It’s 9pm, the house is packed, not an empty seat, not even halftime and the kitchen is closed. And they call themselves the number one place to watch the Buckeyes…kitchen would be opened if I ran this place.“

“First time coming to this 2 in 1 place also Black Owned Ridiculous Eatz. Excellent service. Our waitress was Melissa G. She was very nice and pleasant. The wings was Excellent. We had Buffalo, BBQ, and Hot Garlic (that wasn’t mentioned on the menu, but our waitress told us about it ). Also had the cabbage and collard greens blend. Very good. Had some Cajun fries. They were delicious. Food came out hot. Will definitely be returning.“

“We were in town for a Buckeyes game. Our AirBnb was about two blocks away so this was so convenient. We loved everything about it. The atmosphere as soon as we walked in, we knew we’d love it. “This is exactly what Hilliard needed—a reliable neighborhood spot with consistently great food.

Everything I’ve tried has been excellent. The burgers are fresh, juicy, and cooked perfectly. The onion rings are crispy, the wings are huge, and everything comes out hot and flavorful.

The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and one thing I really appreciate is that the music isn’t blasting. You can actually enjoy a conversation while you eat, which seems harder and harder to find these days.

This has quickly become one of my go-to restaurants in Hilliard. Highly recommend!“

It's a large space that offers both indoor and outdoor seating, with the outdoor seating having a gas fire pit available. The staff was friendly and attentive.“

“I've known about this place for decades, but somehow never ate here until today. This place is a time capsule of how campus used to be many years ago, and I mean that in the best possible way. From the graphics, to the edgy names of the sandwiches, to the absolutely huge portions, everything about this place reminds me of the best parts of my youth. “Review is not a recommendation-just our experience. Waiter was friendly. Food was decent but not hot. We were there for Sunday brunch-not many customers so not sure why our food wasn’t hot. Our main concern was the cleanliness. The pictures on the wall had a lot of dirt and food splatters that seem to have been there a while. Perhaps a monthly deep clean would help. (Floor and tables were clean) It wasn’t the experience I read about on their website though.“

“The BLT is the best I have had anywhere. Good flavor, plenty of mayo. Lots of fries. My husband had a sampler platter. He was happy with the amount of food and had trouble finishing. The pricing was excellent for what we got. Service was friendly. We will be back.“

“My son and I stopped in for lunch on a Saturday. It had been years since we'd been, but we were hoping it was still as good as we'd remembered it was. We were greeted by a very friendly hostess/server who immediately took our drink orders, in our case water and water with a generous serving of lemon slices. We both ended up ordering a Red Door cheeseburger and split an order of what I consider to be the BEST onion rings on the planet. The burgers were cooked perfectly and juicy as they could be. Neither of us were disappointed. I took home half of my burger and my son finished every bit of his while we both polished off the onion rings. After years of not eating at the Red Door, we were absolutely thrilled with most recent visit. Highly recommend for a family, group, couple or a loner. Everyone is welcome.“

“The establishments decor was modern. Our server was amazing. She was attentive and very friendly. My drink, sex on the beach was great! The food was under whelming. I could tell my chicken sandwhich was probably just a frozen Tyson chicken patty. The cheesesteak was over seasoned and not sure it was beef. Would definitely go back for drinks and cocktails, but would definitely pass on the food again.“

“After a concert, we were walking up and down High St. looking for a little quieter, laid-back bar. We stopped in to the Homage Bar, and we loved it! Jen behind the bar was fantastic! We'll stop in for a drink anytime we're in Columbus.“
