“Food is quite limited, if you’re going, you’re going for the drinks.
I have no idea what it’s like between Thurs-Saturday; however, most of the week it’s pretty slow paced, but they do have the option to play the jukebox through your phone.
Bartenders are great, people are great, atmosphere is chill.“

I have to say it is the best tomato soup I have tasted , and that’s a lot !

Kayla, out bartender was very attentive and helpful with our food selections .

“Great dive bar. Wings are pretty good and the food and drinks are pretty cheap. They do karaoke sometimes although I've never been. I was reluctant to go because of location, you're not sure if it's POC friendly but it isn't an issue. Good local spot.“

“I’ve never had a bad time at Eight and Sand. The food is beyond impressive and it is reasonably priced. You will not catch me missing the $1 wings every Tuesday and the veggie wrap is incredible. Don’t sleep on the weekly food specials they are always a tasty little surprise! Friendly outgoing staff all around, an awesome patio, and a chill vibe inside. It’s my very favorite bar, there isn’t another like it!“

“Love this place, but really? Kitchen closes at 9pm during Ohio State and Notre Dame Championship game that started at 730. It’s 9pm, the house is packed, not an empty seat, not even halftime and the kitchen is closed. And they call themselves the number one place to watch the Buckeyes…kitchen would be opened if I ran this place.“

“First time coming to this 2 in 1 place also Black Owned Ridiculous Eatz. Excellent service. Our waitress was Melissa G. She was very nice and pleasant. The wings was Excellent. We had Buffalo, BBQ, and Hot Garlic (that wasn’t mentioned on the menu, but our waitress told us about it ). Also had the cabbage and collard greens blend. Very good. Had some Cajun fries. They were delicious. Food came out hot. Will definitely be returning.“

“The Crazee Mule is very large comfortable and clean. What I really appreciate about this bar is that they have a decibel meter in view of the band. This really shows that they care about their customers, workers and even the musicians hearing health. Also, you don't have to yell to order.“

“The grill portion is closed currently due to COVID-19. Bartender was about one of the best I’ve seen. “I've known about this place for decades, but somehow never ate here until today. This place is a time capsule of how campus used to be many years ago, and I mean that in the best possible way. From the graphics, to the edgy names of the sandwiches, to the absolutely huge portions, everything about this place reminds me of the best parts of my youth. “Place was clean and good decor. Two pool tables. Had the J*** Cuban. Enjoyed the sandwich but could taste grease in fries. No Keno but they are in the process of obtaining the rights. “An oldy but a goodie in Grandview Heights, yes I know it is actually in Columbus. My daughter and I had potato skins which were excellent with cheese and bacon. I had the steak with bourbon sauce and steak fries and both were very good. My daughter had the cheeseburger and she is not a big meat eater but she loved it, I had a few bites and the burger was excellent. The two ladies at the bar and also waitressing had their hands full but provided great service. A few tables were getting their drink on so it made for a lively fun atmosphere.“

“The establishments decor was modern. Our server was amazing. She was attentive and very friendly. My drink, sex on the beach was great! The food was under whelming. I could tell my chicken sandwhich was probably just a frozen Tyson chicken patty. The cheesesteak was over seasoned and not sure it was beef. “Had such a fun time with the hubby here! Fun atmosphere, the girls were so pretty and had some amazing tricks! I loved Lexi, she was sooo gorgeous & nice! I loved the dancer who asked if it was okay to touch my hubby, even tho of course I didn't care. It was very considerate! Hubby paid 10 for his entry fee but mine was free so that was a nice surprise. Would give a 5 star if they had some more drink selections! “Review is not a recommendation-just our experience. Waiter was friendly. Food was decent but not hot. We were there for Sunday brunch-not many customers so not sure why our food wasn’t hot. Our main concern was the cleanliness. The pictures on the wall had a lot of dirt and food splatters that seem to have been there a while. Perhaps a monthly deep clean would help. (Floor and tables were clean) It wasn’t the experience I read about on their website though.“

“The BLT is the best I have had anywhere. Good flavor, plenty of mayo. Lots of fries. My husband had a sampler platter. He was happy with the amount of food and had trouble finishing. The pricing was excellent for what we got. Service was friendly. We will be back.“
