“it's a very fun place for a pool tournament or darts or just to gather around and have a couple of drinks with friends. there is a jukebox and it was banging music out all night we went in the evening and it was not too busy but as it approached later in the evening more and more people were gathering. there is an outdoor patio but they do not serve food. I was fairly surprised to have to be scanned for weapons before entering.. that made me a little leery... but I will be returning.“

“We had not been to this place before and we were traveling on the road so we needed fairly quick service. From start to finish we were very happy with the food. They make their own focaccia and bring a house Blended herb butter. As an appetizer we ordered an olive mix which came warm and in a delectable oil with spice. That helped us finish up the rest of the focaccia. Our entree was one we split and it was plenty for two. It was a pasta dish al dente with clams and nicely ground Italian sausage in a butter sauce. Could not have asked for a better service.“

“The special condiments like Thousand island dressing for the Rueben ( corned beef version) and the mustard for the Grilled cheese sandwich were pretty non existent. The reuben, you can ask for more dressing, and put it between the layers, but the grill cheese, unless im dipping the sandwich into mustard ( which was a great flavorful mustard) , you can't add any. Its melted to the bread. Adults do like grilled cheese, so if you think its probably a tween or teen, don't put much on assumption... ask the customer. In addition, the grilled cheese had the driest bread. Crispy, but... cracker like. Weird. Had to sip water or pop every bite.

Also, WHITEOUT PRICING THAT HAS CHANGED. The price on the menu was different than the bill. Not cool.

Nice clean bathrooms, great atmosphere, decent servers, fix the sandwich condiments, and please fix the menu pricing if you change it.

Bock excels at creating a space where we gather as family, friends, soccer teams, etc with their large open room, but also there's a game room my kids love, foosball, and shuffle board. And that's not even getting to the food and drinks. My favorite snacks include the German nachos, reuben dip, and pretzels. The drinks are always on point- fresh and delicious. we always love the lemon blueberry with with a slice of lemon and the Negligent IPA. They are staffed by some of the greatest people. A family favorite for sure.“

A Manhattan ordered at the bar was $10.50 with well bourbon. Ordering a Manhattan with Makers Mark at the table, it was $17.50. That seems like an excessive upcharge for a moderate premium bourbon.“

“I am specifically filling this survey out because I notified the manager that Amber was beyond amazing and above and beyond to accommodate our needs or wants and make our meal and our whole experience very desirable. Our coffees were never even the slightest bit empty they were always full. Our waters were always full. She put up with our somewhat fussy order with a smile and made it come out wonderfully. I just wanted you guys to know that you have a fantastic employee that went above and beyond To make a strangers experience fantastic I had never been there before and would highly recommend the restaurant based on my experience because of the waitress!! “I had the Western Omlett and a half order of biscuits and gravy. The omlett was very good with a generous amount ingredients inside. The eggs were cooked thin with the peppers, mushrooms, onions, and diced ham rolled inside with american cheese melted in top. The biscuits and gravy was a traditional sausage gravy. It had a good sausage taste and was not gritty. The coffee was good and bottomless! All-in-all a good value, I will be returning!“

“Our Sunday School class met at Doubledays for lunch on 2/21/24 for our monthly luncheon and to celebrate a members 93rd birthday. There were 29 of us and we were accommodated so nicely. Patrick waited on us and he did an absolute wonderful job. Our food was delivered timely and it was so great. Thank you Patrick and staff for a job well done.“
