“Massive portions, fresh ingredients, clearly homemade with no shortcuts. This is the old school American-Chinese place you want it to be with the classic dishes: sweet and sour and hot mustard containers (not packets) presented with the appetizers, a hot and sour soup so much better than any in the area, and an extremely friendly staff. If I had a negative, it’s the fried rice, it just felt a little flat compared to everything else… but mixed with the chicken and sauce was still delicious. I don’t live close by but will find reasons to visit here.“

“We go to China Cottage in Trotwood. It is the very Best Chinese food in the area. Always fresh, done perfectly and always so good. The food and service is truly exceptional. Great menu choices, the flavors are perfectly balanced. Can't wait to go back.“

“My go to spot after the gym. Always quick and reasonably priced. I try something new every time and I've never been disappointed. The beef egg rolls are the best! (They are hot though, I think they make them in an active volcano, but when they cool off their great)“

“This is our favorite place to order Chinese takeaway from. Have been ordering from here for years and years. The family who owns and operates the restaurant are so friendly and generous, the food is always hot and fresh, and the portions are enough for 2-3 meals while also being affordable. We've ordered from here for so long, Christmas isn't Christmas without our usual Great Wall takeaway.“

“I just Love this place! I opened this restaurant when it was Mr. Lees! So many great memories! I love Shen the owner that worked there when I was there. He ended up buying the place Keeping the menu and great vibe, Renaming it Shens! Hard work does pay off! Always a warm welcome! Great to see you and Casey! I tried the Grand Marnier Crispy chicken, OMG! I was scared to go try something new, it’s absolutely delicious! It has, strawberries🍓 Pinapples, 🥝 kiwis and 🍊 orange! Served over white rice! Instead of my usual Pad Thai, and 2 new rolls instead of my usual Spicy salmon. The Dragon 🐉 roll is fire just missing row. And the Sunset. Very great food! Beautiful atmosphere! Go here!“

“Hong Kong Kitchen is hands down one of the best Chinese spots in the northern Dayton area. Every single dish we order is consistently fresh, piping hot, and packed with flavor. Their Crab Rangoon is perfectly crispy with a generous, savory filling, and classics like General Tso’s and Black Pepper Chicken are always spot-on—never greasy or bland. The Fried Wantons are such a fun menu item and worth trying!
The staff is incredibly friendly, efficient, and welcoming every time you walk through the door. Whether you’re ordering takeout or stopping in, they handle everything with a smile and get your food out incredibly fast.
It is an absolute staple in our local rotation. If you're in Tipp City and craving high-quality, delicious Chinese food, look no further!“

“My wife and I have been frequenting this hole in the wall since we learned that the owner goes to our church. Honestly, very impressed with the food’s quality and taste. I have been here regularly and have seen no dip in quality that many Asian restaurants suffer from. Staff is also incredibly friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for some good local Asian cuisine!“

“It was okay. I'm not from the area, so I don't know how it is usually, as far as the food choices go, but it might've been because we came when it was less than an hour before closing that it didn't seem like they had a great number of choices.“

“The orange chicken was to die for. On top of that they have a sweet boy named Bill working there, but I fear he maybe moving on to new things.
Overall a nice little place and I will definitely be making the drive back here again!“
