“MCL Cafeteria is an awesome place! I totally recommend this restaurant. Not only is the food great, but the care and attention that the staff paid towards my nephew who is on the spectrum when he came to pick up his food was overwhelming. Johnny was so warm and nice and always asked how he was doing, and if they were out of something that I ordered from Cleveland, OH, she always had something else to recommend. She is just FABULOUS. “Always hits the spot. I get it right when I'm getting sick, and it's like a warm hug on a winter day. I recommend the saltah (vegetable soup), the foul stew (lentils) with a side of kabz arabi (bread). Incredible hidden gem. Found it from the Columbus Food Adventures Alt Eats food tour. “I always enjoy Little Italy, the food is always good and decently priced.
I am only giving 4 stars because I went with my whole family. 9 people. And my older mother in law paid the bill.
Mom realized the next morning that the bill she paid was not even ours! She paid like $160 plus a tip that was over $30. Turns out our actual bill was only $110 and so our tip would have been significantly less as well.
It took several calls and a few days wait but a manager DID refund the difference. But overall I'm disappointed that could've even happened. The orders weren't even similar.“

“Best fast casual type of restaurant you'll find anywhere but at some point there needs to be a conversation about some of the staff at the short north location... almost every time I go I have an experience so odd it feels like I am getting pranked by a hidden camera. If someone were to tell me they're testing AI robots that work off a limited script I would understand, and also feel better about robots taking human facing jobs. Foods still fantastic and won't impact me from going at least once a week but the robo staff experience has happened too many times to not start the conversation about getting some humans back behind the counter slinging the best food in town.“

“What a unique experience! As soon as I walked in the door I felt like the restaurant transported me to another place! The language is definitely Portuguese here but they do speak English as well although I am Puerto Rican so my Spanish could fend for itself there. I came alone and was sitted within like 10 minutes and then I forgot to put a coat down and someone took my table. After I got out of the line the servers helped me find a new table and offered different sauces to try with my meal. Everything was great but my favorite was the picanha! My only tip when you go here is to be confident speak up, it’s a busy restaurant but everyone seems willing to help. Great first time experience.“

“We embarked on a Tuesday adventure because I prefer to avoid crowded places because I am immunodeficient. I had known about India Oak for a long time, so it felt like the perfect opportunity to explore more neighborhood spots. I love dive and neighborhood eateries, and this one was just right.

We enjoyed a fantastic Italian sub sandwich and a meatball sub with just the right amount of tomato sauce. One of the highlights was the freshly baked Italian bread they take pride in using. The in-house-made chili was also excellent, served in a savory, meaty tomato sauce rich with just the right amount of large red kidney beans. You can also add onion and cheese on top if you like.

The kitchen at India Oak is small, accommodating only one or two people at a time. However, this limitation doesn't stop them from serving fresh, made-to-order dishes such as burgers, grilled cheese, and soups. Since there is no deep fryer, nothing on the menu is fried, and no French fries are available.“

“Upon entering we were greeted by Jahlyia and she was so pleasant and helpful as we looked over the cakes.
She seated us and her personality made it obvious we had made a good choice to dine here.
In the past many of the servers were cold and dismissive but jahlyia made us feel welcomed and important.
