“I was surprised that Ballantine did not have a better star rating. We are passing through. Most well rated Willoughby restaurants were very full. Ballantine is a large place, lots of wood, with some crannies, one being in the back with a mantle and gas lighted fireplace. In live music before it switches to current sports. Special dinner: Clams which were very fresh, clam chowder with fresh vegetables, and a huge hamburger with greens. All good. Staff people were super friendly and helpful. A beautiful lighted outdoors with floor to ceiling glass. Couldn't have been any better. Thank you, Ballantine.”

“Very pleased with cuisine. There were twelve of us and everyone enjoyed their lunch. The food was different from what we're used to eating because this is Latin American cuisine. Most of us had plantains and all were cooked differently but extremely tasty. I had the Sancocho as an entrée with Black Bean Soup as an appetizer...both very delicious. Nat, the waitress, was extremely attentive. Can't wait till we go back.”

“We are new to Ohio and have tried different restaurants.Our waitress today was amazing.Her name is Jayla.She greeted us today with a smile.It never left her face.The food was also very good.The restaurant and bathroom were very clean.There is an Applebees closer to us but not as clean and lacks in customer service.We will return to Willowby.Keep serving your customers With care and great service.”

“I love this location but at certain times of the day. During the day the customer service is on point!!! But evening / night it’s trash. The younger employees be needing home training before they get a job because their customer service sucks. But anywho during the day, I love this location and the cookies!”

“Haven’t been to JT’s Diner for about two years. Thought we’d give it a try as we remembered it being good at their previous location. We were very disappointed in our breakfasts. My crisp bacon was burnt to a crisp with burnt taste upon first bite. Our home fries used to be excellent “sliced” potato’s, but yesterday came as mush and the scrambled eggs were not even cut….just folded like an omelet. Coffee was good and hot, as in the past. For $20.53 I expected better. Don’t think I would return.”

“I came in because I was craving sushi and miso soup and needed to do school work. BEST PLACE EVER. I absolutely love this restaurant. Staff is friendly, cordial, and lighthearted. The miso soup was the best I have ever had (coming from someone who has it often). I had the Fire Ball Sushi Roll, and it had so much flavor. 10/10 experience. It was very personable, and I will be a returning patron. ?% recommend it to others!”

“We had the best day watching The Buckeyes at The Wild Goose! One of our sons lives in Willoughby & the other son & his wife live in Shaker Heights. Fav spot for our kids but our first time. The pizzas, onion rings & buffalo dip were amazing! Outstanding selection of beers. Loved the atmosphere. Charming but lots of TVs as well. Can’t say enough about the staff!!! Outstanding service & so friendly! Cant wait to come back!”

“I love Arabica coffeehouse. It’s a really friendly environment in historic downtown Willoughby. The owners Tim and Tina Are both very nice and welcoming and their staff is friendly. I love the huge selection of teas that they have to choose from. This is where I go when I just don’t want to be home by myself. Love to come here read or work a little and people watch. There is always someone friendly to talk to. I’ve made lots of friends here over the years.”

“The Tropical Cafe on Cherokee Street in Chattanooga, TN is by far the best I have ever been too!! They actually know us by name and greet us by our names every time. Their Sandwiches are always fresh and hot and made to order and their smoothies are absolutely out of this world!!! Especially the Peanut Protein Smoothie 😋😋😋. We love this location so much and how were treated we visit at least once or twice every week.”

“Just what downtown Willoughby needed! Such a cute and cozy pizza place/Italian restaurant serving up the classics done simply and done well. We ordered the Salad Bowl and it was a meal in itself. I really appreciated the lettuce- no iceberg here, just crisp mixed greens and lots of Italian cold cuts, cheese, egg and olives. Ordered a small pizza with sausage, onion and banana peppers and it was delicious. They use the crumbly sausage, which again, I totally appreciate. I can tell quality ingredients are used here and it makes such a difference. The staff were great! A really pleasant and welcoming group of young people. Nice job! We will be back soon!”

“It's a good place to stop for a bite. The menu is large, as is the portions. But, the main reason for visiting is for the desserts. I had the chocolate layered cake, and the wife had the german chocolate cake. Loved them!”

“Got a medium corned beef and small onion rings. Menu says it comes with horseradish, doesn't say I have to pay.45¢ for less than a spoonful of horseradish, onion rings are 5. Paid over $22.00 for this and left a tip on top of that. Don't go out often and get food and I guess this is why. Extremely disappointed”

“Delicious chinese food. A good selection to choose from. They let you pick out your own sauce, which is incredibly generous compared to other restaurants that might horde and short the sauces. The crab rangoon was a little on the dry side but thats nitpicking. The Singapore Meifun was delicious, best I've had. The people there are also very polite”

“Visiting from Canada, this is our first stop and special request for my son's 13th birthday. Immediately as you walk in, you're greeted with a welcome by all of the staff and smiling faces. The ladies behind the counter were very helpful with all of my questions. The food came out quickly and was to die for! We were checked in on at our table by a few different staff members, all of which were very friendly. The restaurant was spotless, the staff were great - 10/10! Wish we had one here in Ontario!”

Waited in the store while watching a football game. It's a nice spice it's not overly hot but the chicken itself was phenomenal. Extremely crispy and very moist. Some of the best we've ever had.”

I like to visit other buffets time to time and when they do offer coconut shrimp it’s never as amazing as Panda’s! Even though they are carry-out only right now they still keep the place clean! I also want to add that not only are they open for carry out but also have an option for delivery! Panda Buffet will always be my go to!!”

“I picked up a philly cheese steak with mushrooms, onions and mayo with small fries yesterday. I ordered the multi grain bread. The sandwich was good but I think I would like it on white better. Love the fresh cut fries with vinegar and ketchup. They were quick to serve and pleasant.”
