“I was surprised that Ballantine did not have a better star rating. We are passing through. Most well rated Willoughby restaurants were very full. Ballantine is a large place, lots of wood, with some crannies, one being in the back with a mantle and gas lighted fireplace. In live music before it switches to current sports. Special dinner: Clams which were very fresh, clam chowder with fresh vegetables, and a huge hamburger with greens. All good. Staff people were super friendly and helpful. A beautiful lighted outdoors with floor to ceiling glass. Couldn't have been any better. Thank you, Ballantine.”

“It’s not a stand alone Donatos so they don’t have all the normal options. It’s managed by a Red Robin. So just be aware of that when you order. Pizza was still delicious ?”

The younger employees be needing home training before they get a job because their customer service sucks. But anywho during the day, I love this location and the cookies!”

“Haven’t been to JT’s Diner for about two years. Thought we’d give it a try as we remembered it being good at their previous location. We were very disappointed in our breakfasts. My crisp bacon was burnt to a crisp with burnt taste upon first bite. Our home fries used to be excellent “sliced” potato’s, but yesterday came as mush and the scrambled eggs were not even cut….just folded like an omelet. Coffee was good and hot, as in the past. For $20.53 I expected better. Don’t think I would return.”

“Most of the sushi was excellent but there was a few pieces that had that fishy taste that you don't want. The rolls didn't hold together well when I picked them up, and the hot tea was atrocious. The miso soup and the tuna was very good. And I was supposed how clean and oceany the sea urchin tasted. The waitress was very nice and helped me pick out the fish.”

“My boyfriend and I were strolling along downtown Willoughby around 10am, nothing was really open except Michael’s. We stopped in, were greeted by a kind man and saw not much was left except some Cinnamon Rolls. Figured that meant they must’ve been good, tried one of them and it was amazing! “We had the best day watching The Buckeyes at The Wild Goose! One of our sons lives in Willoughby & the other son & his wife live in Shaker Heights. Fav spot for our kids but our first time. The pizzas, onion rings & buffalo dip were amazing! Outstanding selection of beers. Loved the atmosphere. Charming but lots of TVs as well. Can’t say enough about the staff!!! Outstanding service & so friendly! Cant wait to come back!”

“I love Arabica coffeehouse. It’s a really friendly environment in historic downtown Willoughby. The owners Tim and Tina Are both very nice and welcoming and their staff is friendly. I love the huge selection of teas that they have to choose from. This is where I go when I just don’t want to be home by myself. Love to come here read or work a little and people watch. There is always someone friendly to talk to. I’ve made lots of friends here over the years.”

“Please go here. Don’t read anymore reviews, don’t compare it to any other places. Get in your car and start driving to Freshleys. I am going to stay healthy and fit so that I can live longer so I can eat more freshleys. I would eat my gyro if I dropped it on the ground. I would pay $30 for the gyro I just ate if I had to. I would walk to buy one if I could. I don’t even look forward to eating gyros anywhere else because I know they can’t possible compare to these ones. The angry gyro should be renamed the happy gyro, because that’s what it truly makes me feel. I would choose this as my last meal if I was getting sent to the electric chair and I’m dead serious. I want to fly the workers of Freshleys to Greece so they can show them how it is done. I can keep going all day, but that’s just time I would be wasting instead of working to make money to buy more freshleys. You will only regret going here because you will be hooked for the rest of your life. I love you freshleys I can’t wait to see you again.”

“Just what downtown Willoughby needed! Such a cute and cozy pizza place/Italian restaurant serving up the classics done simply and done well. We ordered the Salad Bowl and it was a meal in itself. I really appreciated the lettuce- no iceberg here, just crisp mixed greens and lots of Italian cold cuts, cheese, egg and olives. Ordered a small pizza with sausage, onion and banana peppers and it was delicious. They use the crumbly sausage, which again, I totally appreciate. I can tell quality ingredients are used here and it makes such a difference. The staff were great! A really pleasant and welcoming group of young people. Nice job! We will be back soon!”

“The food is excellent. It was all hot and fresh. We got 4 combination plates and crab ragoon for $40. It was pretty busy probably because the food is so good. The people are courteous and professional. The egg rolls were crispy and hot. The crab ragoon was very tasty. I got Mongolian beef, spicy which was perfect. The shrimp with lobster sauce was pretty good. We substituted pork lo mein for the fried rice. It tasted grilled and delicious. Both were awesome. We also got shrimp with garlic sauce. The shrimp was tender and cooked well. We've been here twice so far. Both times were pretty awesome.”

“Visiting from Canada, this is our first stop and special request for my son's 13th birthday. Immediately as you walk in, you're greeted with a welcome by all of the staff and smiling faces. The ladies behind the counter were very helpful with all of my questions. The food came out quickly and was to die for! We were checked in on at our table by a few different staff members, all of which were very friendly. The restaurant was spotless, the staff were great - 10/10! Wish we had one here in Ontario!”

“I love the pizza so much. It tasted amazing hot and just as good when I heated it up in the microwave. The only thing I didn’t like was how I received the cinnamon dessert. I didn’t like how I had to put the cream cheese on them and how the cream cheese wasn’t warm and was pretty stiff and didn’t taste all that good. The cinnamon squares were kinda stale too.”

I like to visit other buffets time to time and when they do offer coconut shrimp it’s never as amazing as Panda’s! Even though they are carry-out only right now they still keep the place clean! I also want to add that not only are they open for carry out but also have an option for delivery! Panda Buffet will always be my go to!!”

“It takes a little bit for this place to prepare food but it they always do in a reasonable time. Ingredients are good the vegetables are good along with the waffle fries. I recommend the Roman burger.”

“I had a dine in experience, my cheesesteak sandwich was delicious and my reg size fries were absolutely delicious. The food tasted much more better than S. Euclid restaurant.
The staff was friendly, however, only flaw was it took over 10 mins to be served. Yes I will revisit again.”

“You ever have one of those days where you wake up, everything starts going wrong. Today was one. Just little things here and there. My family was at work and I was thirsty. So I stopped here. (The one on Robin Hood) got a large raging berry and a large peach beach.

I’ll be honest, I did the “make sure she sees the tip” thing. And I asked. Please make the best smoothies ever. Then I said. I don’t even care about mine. Make hers perfect.

So here’s my review. I’ve been stopping here for years now. Every time, they’re amazing smoothies. Tipping doesn’t make them better or worse. And it may have been a placebo effect…but I don’t think so.

Normally my large smoothies last me all day. Sip here and there and enjoy it. I dunno what magic they/she (wasn’t paying attention to who made it. I’m so sorry) did. But holy…baby jebus rocking in a cradle with RNGesus. This smoothie is already gone. Time frame…bought at 12…gone at 1. That’s a record. I want this flavor in my mouth. Now. And more. When my family took her first sip…she said the hair stood up in her arm and she got tingles.

Today these two girls (women I know…but I’m old now) made my day much better. And it made hers better. And for a few extra bucks they deserve every penny.

“This has got to be the best fried chicken I have ever had in my life, definitely blows the chicken places out there away, I don't understand why they don't have drive-thru locations like KFC and other chicken places, never once have I ever received dried out or chewy chicken, it's always steaming hot, freshly done, crispy tender and oh my god so so so juicy.... Krispy chicken rocks!!!!! They didn't have a Krispy chicken where I used to live so I decided to move back to the area and that's all I could think about was Krispy chicken lol”

“Always delicious and I find myself craving their food every couple of weeks. I always get the Thai Basil with chicken, so freakin good. Yesterday I decided to try the Pho, and it cured my weary soul. Truly, I had been feeling not so great and my tummy just loved it. Make sure you put all the herbs and sauce in there and mix it up. 10/10 will get again when I need some comfort soup.

Honorable mentions for me: basil fried rice, Pad Thai of course and the jumbo chicken wings are so yummy.

This is more of a take-out place.. not really a dine-in experience, though they do have tables and chairs if you're inclined.
