“We had the best day watching The Buckeyes at The Wild Goose! One of our sons lives in Willoughby & the other son & his wife live in Shaker Heights. Fav spot for our kids but our first time. The pizzas, onion rings & buffalo dip were amazing! Outstanding selection of beers. Loved the atmosphere. Charming but lots of TVs as well. Can’t say enough about the staff!!! Outstanding service & so friendly! Cant wait to come back!“

“I was surprised that Ballantine did not have a better star rating. We are passing through. Most well rated Willoughby restaurants were very full. Ballantine is a large place, lots of wood, with some crannies, one being in the back with a mantle and gas lighted fireplace. In live music before it switches to current sports. Special dinner: Clams which were very fresh, clam chowder with fresh vegetables, and a huge hamburger with greens. All good. Staff people were super friendly and helpful. A beautiful lighted outdoors with floor to ceiling glass. Couldn't have been any better. Thank you, Ballantine.“

“Fats has always been a place that feels like home. When I was in my 20s figuring out what being drunk was like. After the war when I needed somewhere that wouldn't judge me for drowning my sorrows. And now when I'm a working man who occasionally gets a craving for an excellent burger, Fats has always made me feel comfortable and welcome.“

“I love the pizza so much. It tasted amazing hot and just as good when I heated it up in the microwave. The only thing I didn’t like was how I received the cinnamon dessert. I didn’t like how I had to put the cream cheese on them and how the cream cheese wasn’t warm and was pretty stiff and didn’t taste all that good. The cinnamon squares were kinda stale too.“

“Just what downtown Willoughby needed! Such a cute and cozy pizza place/Italian restaurant serving up the classics done simply and done well. We ordered the Salad Bowl and it was a meal in itself. I really appreciated the lettuce- no iceberg here, just crisp mixed greens and lots of Italian cold cuts, cheese, egg and olives. Ordered a small pizza with sausage, onion and banana peppers and it was delicious. They use the crumbly sausage, which again, I totally appreciate. I can tell quality ingredients are used here and it makes such a difference. The staff were great! A really pleasant and welcoming group of young people. Nice job! We will be back soon!“
