“Amazing food and Atmosphere“

“First time! Excited! Heard nothing but compliments. The restaurant had many open seats. We enter and a person of upper management looked up and punched in something and then directed the server. The server, under direction took us to the worst place in the restaurant. My prayer was that it wasn’t because we were a family of color. I tried hard to disregard the thought as we were directed to sit outside the kitchen door. :—/. I was getting away from the kitchen. That was the last place I wanted to celebrate our special occasion. I asked for a different place in the restaurant that was housing one other visible couple. She was very happy to oblige us. When a restaurant is full, I can understand…. But this was far from the case. The server was 5STAR ! Food 5STAR ! I will definitely try it again with hopes that it was a mistake on the management part. My hopes…“

“In these trying times, going out for dinner is a luxury. Last night Murphy and James knocked it out of the park for my boyfriend and I ... oh yes I must give it up for the chefs who delivered a home run with our steaks. But James especially went above and beyond. He said he's been there 9 years so his kindness, efficiency and rapt attention must just be in his blood. Our experience went way beyond my wildest expectations and it was because of James. Thank you Murphy, James and Longhorn for restoring my faith in the world ... “The buffet was just ok. Nice to have Silvio make the omlettes for sure, and he even had someone get American cheese for my partner. The biscuits were the best I have had anywhere. I liked the potatoes, but my partner did not. Everything was tasty but not really worth the $20 price. The server and everyone else was quite friendly, and I will probably come back for a special occasion.“

“I’ve had the pleasure of dining at Austin Smoke and Steak House twice now, and both visits were excellent. On our first visit, we tried the fish tacos, ahi tuna, French onion soup, and prime rib—and every dish delivered. The standout was the prime rib, perfectly cooked and served with a horseradish sauce that’s absolutely to die for. You can really taste the freshness and homemade quality in every bite.

On our second visit, we started with the artichoke dip and then enjoyed the shrimp zoodle and a crisp house salad. Everything was flavorful, thoughtfully prepared, and accommodating to dietary needs—very allergy-friendly, which we really appreciated. The drinks from the bar were also a highlight: creative, refreshing, and well-balanced.

From food to service, everything has been consistently fresh and delicious. It’s clear this place takes pride in their craft, and it shows. If we ever come back here this will definitely be on the list of must stop!
Our waitress Alex was AMAZING!! She even remembered my allergy from the night before! That alone in my book deserves 5 stars!“
