“As a kid, I always thought DeFelice Brothers pizza was the best I’d ever had.. moved from Shadyside when I was 12 years old.. and have been over 3 hours away since. I have a lot of fond memories of open lunch in Elementary school, and walking down a few times a week for a slice. Stopped in the Shadyside location, for the first time in 35 years last weekend, and I’m glad to say it still tastes as amazing as I remember!!!“

“This pizza is the Best, Ohio valley style pizza to date... De Carlos is good. Bruno's is good but as far as texture and consistency this pizza takes the Cake.. what I want to know is why do they all taste the same?? It's like they're using the same supplier. Same cheese source, same sauce, same everything... The only thing that changes is the texture.. would it be too much to ask to add some spices to the sauce or maybe use a aged provolone? Anyhow, this pizza is single-handedly the best pizza in Ohio that I found so far.. and West Virginia.. If you like crispy crunchy crust with the Ohio valley style sauce and cheese. This is the pizza for you.. I have three other pizza places in my local area that taste exactly the same but this one seems to do it correctly.. this is the pizza that I will be buying in the Ohio valley region until I find one that is different..“

“Maltas is the best pizza you can get in this part of the valley. The family that owns the business is always very pleasant and friendly and the pizza, while simple, is amazing. The wedges are also great and the wings. The round pizza is my favorite. I order maltas at least once a week and it has never disappointed plus the prices are UNBEATABLE. Way better than vocellis or any other spot imo.“

“The food is so good. The sauce is the best around. Pepperoni rolls, calzones and hoagies is what I’ve tried thus far. Hoagies are made on real good thick bread. Calzones are big enough for 2. Prices are fair for what you get. This should be everyone’s pizza place. Nobody will be disappointed.“
