Exactly what you want in a neighborhood brewery—a perfect variety of drinkable, staple brews that suit all tastes. On a hot summer evening though, I would’ve loved to see a frosted glass option—the beer warmed up a little too fast for my liking. We ordered the giant pretzel, which definitely delivered on size! The beer cheese was decent, but we were hoping for a bit more creativity or a “mystery dip” option to spice it up. Also… just give us one good cup of cheese with it instead of making everyone upgrade for a second portion. Small thing, but it stood out. As the sun set, the whole place started to feel like something out of a movie. Couples celebrating engagements, friends laughing over cornhole in the corner, and a casual, easy energy. The only thing missing? Some live music, especially for a Saturday night. 🎶 We found ourselves lost in conversation… time honestly stood still. It felt both lively and private, which is a rare combo these days. If I had one other piece of feedback, it’d be for a slightly bigger food menu and maybe a kiddo cut-off time around 7 PM, just so the evening crowd can fully settle into adult mode. “You gotta get there early if you're going to park at the 6th tee entrance; it fills up fast. If it is full, go south about a block and there's generally a guy sitting there with his daughter in a golf cart. He has about 10 spots in front of his house down the street, that he charges $20 for. Great guy and he'll run you back to the road in his cart if he can.“

Our meals were well prepared and tasty. I had pasta and clam special and was very pleased. My partner enjoyed his carbonara and his side order of meatballs. I did think the ceasar salad was overdressed. In addition, the side order of bread, while delicious, should always be accompanied by olive oil (we had to request).“

But things are back to working like clockwork now - food is flavorful and plentiful, particularly the amazingly priced combo platters. “Stopped into The Wine Bistro while in town for business. This place came recommended by the hotel I was staying at and since it was only a couple blocks away (walking), I decided to go! I sat at the bar and talked with the bartenders - they were very friendly and great at recommending wines to try. The food was great too! I had the cheese plate with my wine and then an altered version of the chicken breast dish for dinner. I have dietary restrictions and the bartender was fabulous at helping me to customize my dinner to meet my needs! I had a lovely time, and only wish that I would have taken a glass of wine outside on the patio to enjoy more of the atmosphere outside. We would've preferred the roasted vegetables be a bit more cooked. They were hot but basically still raw. The desserts that came with the 3 course meal were all tasty and generous in size. Would definitely recommend the creme brulee cheesecake... outstanding. The only thing that kept this from 5 stars is the ridiculously cold air conditioning. Our server said she'd talk to the manager about it, but nothing ever changed. The food cooled off very quickly, and we were frozen by the end of the meal.“

“My husband and I recently visited Dos Hermanos (in Easton) for our weekly date night, and let me tell you, it was hands down the best Mexican food I’ve had in a long, long time. After living in Columbus for over 3 years (and searching high & low), I had come to the sad conclusion that there were no good authentic Mexican restaurants in thus city — that was, until I stepped foot into Dos Hermanos. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with hot chips and fresh, flavorful salsa that set the tone for the rest of our meal. The menu features a wide range of authentic Mexican dishes at reasonable prices. My husband and I tried the queso blanco, street tacos, Birria tacos, and churros. Each dish was flavourful, hot, and super fresh. My personal favorite were the Birria tacos — every bite was packed with the right balance of spices and tenderness. I am very picky when it comes to restaurants, especially Mexican, and let me tell you; if you like flavor (not just salt…), this is the place for you! The food wasn’t all that impressed us — the wait staff was equally fantastic. Our waitress, Megan, was an absolute superstar. She was attentive, friendly, and made our experience very enjoyable. The restaurant was clean, and well staffed— a true hidden gem. After our first visit, we couldn’t resist going back again (only 2 weeks later), and I’m happy to report that the experience was just as perfect as before. No doubt about it, Dos Hermanos deserves a solid 5 out of 5 stars. My search for a fantastic Mexican restaurant in Columbus is officially over! It’s honestly hard to come by genuinely great service like this, and Hunter truly went above and beyond to make our evening so special. He was attentive, personable, and made us feel SO well taken care of from start to finish🥹. The steak was cooked absolutely perfectly, and every dish we had was delicious. There are so many good things I could say about our experience, the Ruth’s Chris team really made it memorable. We will absolutely be back, and when we do, we’ll definitely be requesting Hunter!
