“My waitress was Leslie. She was awesome, sweet and on top of everything. Considering how packed they was. She got our order had it out to us in about 10 mins. We both got the chicken fried steak so so good. Portions was large and cooked hot. I wish i lived in durant that would be my spot. Give them a try you will be a fan. ☆☆☆☆☆“

“If you're looking for breakfast at the conference center there's two options. Grand lux is 24 hours it's always open or wait till 8:00 a.m. and there's the Salt and Stone. the wallpaper and decorations , here, in contrast everything else out on the Gaming floor is calm subdued and comforting. So yes, if you need a break from all the lights/noise... come inside pretty quick snack. Rebecca was our super server this morning. We ordered the Bacon Eggs with biscuits. Newest super fast and Rebecca was smiling. The breakfast was delicious and very filling. Made it better but not in the surprise breakfast item that was really really good was the cheese hash browns. Yummy!!!“

“Ernie’s - met Chris in Denison when he had his food truck on Morton. Our family loves his brisket tacos and especially the monster burrito (with green sauce on the side). When I found his cafe (in Colbert) was just 15 minutes away, we try to make it at least twice a month, the drive is actually not that far, easy 15 minute pleasant drive . . So worth the drive for comfort food and I call in for pickup and it’s ready when I get there. It’s a home cooked meal and everyone looks and feels at home, so enjoy watching his packed restaurant and they definitely hustle.“
