“I avoided City Bites for a long time because I didn’t find the appeal of the outside of the restaurant. I finally gave them a shot when I wanted a sub and I’m so glad that I did because they are SOOOO fresh and delicious. I think that these are the best subs in town hands down. Also, the drive though has never been packed for me and the service is always friendly and quick.“

“Best Service Duo in Shawnee, Oklahoma
After almost a year of living in Shawnee, I’ve eaten at nearly every restaurant in town. When I go out to eat, I have high expectations—food taste, proper temperature, and most of all, service.
About a year ago, I sat down at the bar at Chili’s and was immediately greeted with a friendly smile and a handshake.
“Hello, my name is Brian, and I’m going to take good care of you tonight.”
Magical words for someone who eats out frequently and rarely experiences true customer service.
A couple of nights ago, I returned looking for my favorite bartender, Brian, but he wasn’t working the bar that evening. Instead, he professionally introduced me to what he jokingly called “Brian 2.0.” Turns out her name wasn’t Brian 2.0 at all—her name is Kaylee (shocker!).
And let me tell you—he did not steer me wrong.
My wife and I had an absolute blast. Great conversation, glasses always full, food served hot, and everything we needed to unwind after a long workday. It was one of those experiences that reminds you why you enjoy going out to eat.
There are plenty of great Chili’s locations across Oklahoma with solid staff—but do yourself a favor:
Exit I-40 at mile marker 185 and stop at the Shawnee Chili’s.
Sit at the bar and look for Brian and/or Kaylee—this dynamic duo delivers top-notch service every time.
Tell them Bill sent you, and enjoy being treated like family.“

“Walked in and told we had an hour wait. Okay, thats fine. We run to Walmart next door and get notified we have a table...9 minutes after we checked in. We sit down and waited about 15 minutes for our waitress to stop talking to a table she clearly knew to take our drink order. Had to ask for biscuits, twice. Son ordered a Pepsi but was given a Stary. Ordered calamari but we weren't told they were out of it until minutes before we got our food. Our food was good though.“

“Here for a late lunch. Was not busy and was seated immediately.
Server was at my table quickly and took my drink order. Allowed me some time to figure out what I wanted. Took my order quick and efficiently. Ordered the three meat dinner.
Food was out fairly quick. Asked for extra crispy fried okra and it was. Brisket was lean like I like it. Pulled pork and smoked chicken were good. Green beans were kinda bland. Pickles and bread with the meal.
Music was rather loud, which is my only complaint. Taste of food overcame that minor problem.“

“I recommend nothing about this chicken express in Shawnee. This is the worst place in the world to eat. I was there the other day. The manager was busy trying to yell and scream. Add 1 of her employees and I wouldn't eat there ever again for no reason. Because I challenge the manager on what she was doing. And she literally told me get out none of my business. Never eat there again You do not yell at an employee out in the public and try to degrade them. You do that imprivant“

“Great little cafe! The coffee tasted like coffee and the bacon was exceptional. Everything was delicious. Friendly owner and just a great little mom and pop style place in the middle of nowhere! If you happen to be in the area, don’t miss this fabulous little stop for food!“
