“The meatloaf was pretty good as were the mashed potatoes and the broccoli. Service was a little slow, but I was also with a fairly large group which slowed things down.
The decor has certainly changed from the crowded walls full of things from the past. There was still some decor, but it is no longer cluttered on all the walls.
We had no wait time because we had called ahead.“

“Every so often, my husband, Todd and I like to find a place to eat/drink that we've never been to. We look for local spots that look to have a fun and inviting atmosphere. I think we hit the jackpot with The Winston in Norman!! Everything on the menu sounded fantastic, but settled on the shrimp tacos and drunken ceviche, which were off the chart delicious! Our bartenders Jordan, along with Whitney (not Houston) set the tone for one of the best dinner dates we've had. These two, along with Jacie (hostess/ manager)impressed us with the personal touches to our first visit that we will definitely be back for more of our new favorite 😍 ~ Michelle“

“I got to ALOT of breakfast places and this is top notch. The biscuits actually are homemade and taste like they should; the gravy is done really well (sorry IHOP and DENNYS are terrible here); this place is busy, staff is very friendly and the coffee is off the charts. You need to keep this on your list in the Norman arae.“

“Been many times and tjis is the first time the steaks were awful. Very tough, lots gristle, way over cooked which they replaced and manager came around later and comped the steak meals. We had ordered the big rib eyes. They were very nice and professional, we didn't approach them just told them when they asked how they were we told them. Spinach dip was excellent, mac and cheese excellent, wine and the Baileys coffee were excellent too. We went on Friday at 330, not busy at all, sat for 2 hours visiting. Staff very friendly
This next visit was great! Salmon, pork chops ,shrimp,asparagus, wine, dessert and Irish coffee!“

“What can I say? It was a grand experience! The slides and diving boards are amazing! The lazy river is “the laziest” one we’ve ever been on. I mean that in a good way because it is the slowest, which makes it significantly easier for children to swim in! We had a lovely time. What helped was the wonderful party hosts. This event helped me forget about my problems—and I have been feeling better ever since! I couldn’t ask for a better first-time trip to a place experience! Yes, we will return to this place in the future. Most definitely!!!“

“My wife and I recently visited Louie's Grill & Bar in Brookhaven, and we had a thoroughly enjoyable time. Opting to sit at the bar, we were treated to quick and attentive service, while also being able to catch some sports action on television. The overall atmosphere was lively. To start, we ordered the queso. The flavors were well-balanced, and the cheese was perfectly melted, making it an excellent appetizer choice. As for the main course, I chose the blackened shrimp tacos, and they were very good. The shrimp was cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of seasoning to create a burst of flavors in each bite. I was impressed with this dish and would recommend it to others. My wife opted for the Cali club sandwich with a side of fried okra, and she was pleased with her choice. The sandwich had a delightful combination of flavors. The fried okra added a nice crunchy touch to the meal, and she thoroughly enjoyed the entire plate. For dessert, we indulged in the funnel cake fries, and they were the perfect way to end our meal. The warm, crispy goodness of the funnel cake combined with the sprinkled powdered sugar made for a delicious treat that left us feeling satisfied. The service throughout the evening was commendable. “Cool little diner that brings the 50’s and 60’s back up life. Really cool pictures from OU are in a collage on the wall. Worth the trip to see that nostalgia. As an added bonus, the food is great! Reasonable prices and the shakes are fantastic!“
