“We've been going to Sinaloa since they moved to Edmond and we have never had food that wasn't good to excellent. We bring guests from out of state, who are very impressed with the food and ask to return when they come back in town....that speaks volumes.

This is not Tex-mex food, so if your looking for ground beef filled tacos/burritos/etc. or tamales, you won't find it. Just well prepared and tasty traditional Mexican food cooked right.

Sinaloas menu is heavy on seafood, because as their name implies, it represents the Sinaloa area of Mexico, which is on the west coast and noted for it's ocean seafood. Sinaloa still has all the traditional Mexican dishes, but more seafood items than we've every found at ANY Mexican restuarant.

I've read all of the negative comments and have to say we've never experienced slow or poor service, but we don't go at prime time when everyone comes at the same time.......so use you head or cut them some slack.

Comments were made about high prices, but all restuarant food is high today and how many local Mexican restuarants serve oysters (many ways) shrimp (many ways), octopus (try the Pulpo Zarandeado) and many other fish & seafood dishes. Seafood is not cheap and a lot more expensive than beef and chicken and the portions they serve are huge.

Maybe the negative reviewers came at rush time or when they were breaking in a new server or ??? Just saying, we've been a dozen times and have never experience what these posters are saying. Hopefully they're not from a comperitor and just trying to damage Sinaloa's reputation.“

“Bro told me that the carne asada had some special seasoning that made it better than the other taco places, and he was not lying! I tried tacos with the asada, lengua, pastor, and carnitas. The pastor and carnitas were about what I would expect from any other taco place, honestly. The lengua (my go-to taco filling) was great — better than most —and the asada was beyond spectacular! Next time I'm in Edmond, I'll be visiting this place again without question.“

They looked short handed but still got us in and out in no time. Didn’t catch their names. Whoever owns the store please tell them thank you. In a messed up world, people are quick to complain at small stuff and never say thank you for all the good. Thank you to this crew of young hard working individuals.“
