“Our favorite Chinese, the very best in Oklahoma. Moving here from California, we were having a hard time finding Chinese food we liked. I was looking all over for Wor Won Ton Soup and this is the only place that has it. It's called Subgum Won Ton , but its the same and just as good as in Cali. They have bbq pork too which I can't find on other menus. Everything has been fresh, delicious and huge portions. Some of our favorites beside the bbq pork and soup are - pork loin mein,( the best) egg foo young!, orange beef, beef and broccoli, happy family, beef and scallops, 3 seasons, dumplings. We haven't had anything we didn't like. We have a lot of leftovers for lunch which we love and their menu has more options than most. It is so clean in there too and they get everything right in our big order every time. We won't eat anywhere else for Chinese food. So happy to have found this little gem!“

“It isn't fancy, but it's immaculately clean, and the food is amazing! Try the salt and pepper chicken and the cabbage! The crysanthemum tea is good, too. Waiters are inexperienced, but very nice. All of the food I've tried is delicious and authentic. I would give the food 10 stars.“

“Omg! This place was SO good! The soup dumplings (I specifically got the pork & crab) were amazing! The different sauces available on the tables were equally good, but garlic sauce was the best. The prices weren’t too bad and the options are pretty good too. This place definitely outdoes the other soup dumplings in other places. The only reason for a little less on atmosphere is it was pretty toasty inside and I’m not a fan of super warm-but the staff were great and the place was otherwise pleasant and clean 👍“

“My husband and I ate here today for the first time. Service was excellent and food was very fresh and flavorful. Best we've had in Tulsa! This will be our go to place for Chinese food!!“

“The beef noodle soup was the standout. Rich, deeply beefy broth with none of the greasiness you sometimes get — clearly simmered for hours, with tender chunks of stewed beef that fell apart easily. Noodles had good chew and didn't turn mushy even after sitting a bit. A little bite to the pepper oil I added give it a punch.

The siu mai were solid, too — plump, well-seasoned pork and shrimp filling, nice snap from the shrimp, and the wrapper wasn't overly thick or doughy.
Overall a comforting, well-executed pair of dishes. Great for a cold day or when you want something hearty without heading into instant-food-coma territory. Would order both again.“

“Tucked away in a quiet corner, this small and quaint Chinese restaurant truly surprised us—in the best way. While it seems most of their business is takeout (we were the only patrons dining in), the cozy, intimate dining space added a peaceful charm to the experience.

The food was absolutely delicious—clearly made fresh to order, with vibrant flavors and that comforting quality only a family-run kitchen can deliver. Our meal came out quickly, but not in a rushed or “pre-made” way. Every dish felt intentional and well-crafted.

“Chinese Gourmet Express is my favorite place to eat when visiting Woodland Hills Mall. I have been a fan of their food since their first location at Promanade Mall, when their burbon chicken was only $5 a plate.

Fast forward through the years and it is still the same great tasting burbon chicken, just cost more due to inflation, but I still LOVE it!
When the cravings for Chinese hits, we will even drive to the mall just to go to the food court for this burbon and chicken.

During our visit, we went with two of the 2 item combos that included the rice. One was with the general tso chicken and broccoli and beef, while the other was merely a double order of burbon chicken with extra sauce on the rice.

I was told the other meal was good but the burbon chicken was still better. I personally only ate the burbon chicken, and it was perfect. They had just brought a new fresh pan of it out of the kitchen as well.

Overall, I would recommend visiting the Chinese Gourmet Express located at the Woodland Hills Mall. I will not vouch for other foods there, except the burbon chicken. There is nothing else around quite like it!“
