We drove 20 mins because this is the closest location. Let me tell y’all…impressed is an understatement. They only had 3 employees working, one was training. This team ROCKED IT SOOOOOOOOOOO HARD! They worked together like a well oiled machine while having a full drive thru and multiple Grande meals (30 piece meal). What a terrific experience!!!!! Y’all go visit and have some amazing chicken! 😍
It's good fried chicken. It's more on the bland side if you order original, but we also use A LOT of seasoning with our meals and don't mind adding some seasoning or honey after we bring it home.
But their prices are almost HALF the price of other popular fried chicken places. Especially having a family of 8 (5 teenagers!) price is our biggest factor in eating out.

This place was BUSY when I came in, but you could tell the staff was working hard and still making sure everyone was taken care of. I especially want to shout out the gal in the red shirt. She was so kind, patient, and accommodating. I couldn’t find my pepper and honestly felt a little silly, but she made me feel completely comfortable and helped me without making me feel embarrassed. Church's Texas Chicken has received mixed reviews. The food is usually fresh and really good, and the staff is always really nice and provides friendly service. Many customers enjoy the hot, fresh food, noting it is way better than Popeyes chicken. The workers are always working hard to make sure everyone gets their orders. However, the building looks like it needs serious updates. The restaurant's cleanliness was also questioned in the past, with the bathroom described as worse than a freeway gas station.
