“We used Madison’s on Main for our wedding on July 12th! All of our guests raved about our cake, and I wish I had more! We had a 4 tier that had french vanilla with raspberry filling, lemon with white chocolate filling, & german chocolate with chocolate mousse. She also made our grooms cake and it was amazing. Every flavor was so delicious and just perfect. Donna was so nice to work with, she was so punctual and made sure we knew every step of the process. She is great at communicating and she met every want & need we had. I definitely recommend working with her for such an important event, you won’t regret it!”

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Benvenuti's Ristorante and it was nothing short of amazing. The atmosphere was warm and inviting and every dish was a masterpiece. I have to mention the poached pear as it was absolutely a delight and is now my favorite food. The veal parmigiana was equally fantastic and the cheesecake was divine. You truly taste the authenticity in every bite. If you're looking for an unforgettable Italian dining experience, this is the place! Get your reservations early as this place books fast! I can't wait to return and explore more of thier menu!”

“We were camped nearby, and I'm so glad I stopped in for a tasting! Jeremy, co-owner and winemaker, was very friendly and happy to share his expertise. He makes some excellent wine! I tried 6 of the dry wines plus the Sangria and took home a bottle of the Sauvignon Blanc, Five Civilized Tribes Red Blend and the Sangria. It's a lovely setting near Lake Thunderbird State Park in Norman, Oklahoma. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area.”

“Excellent buffett that would rival any other casino buffet. A fairly quiet atmosphere but does contain a few tvs for viewing experience or simply take your plate to your room; as long as you have your receipt you can return for 2nds. The best nights to eat are when they are serving New York strip steaks, prime rib, spare baby back ribs, or the beef short rib, the short rib has been on point & is probably their best menu item. They have buffet items that are tasty & a regular item. Such as pizza, panini, fried cod, salmon, a wide spread of desserts, and a beautiful salad bar. Everybody serving within the buffet are very friendly, greeting you as you walk up, and always helpful. Even those cleaning the tables are very friendly. It's not a bad place to dine at, just a bit costly so make sure you go with an appetite to get your money's worth.”

“I had the grilled salmon. It was cooked perfectly and had really great flavor. I also got a side of brussels sprouts, and those were cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. My husband had the ribeye. He ordered it medium rare, but it was cooked more on the medium side. He said the flavor was good but not as good as some other local restaurants (e.g., Red Rock). He did really love the scalloped potatoes that came on the side. We also had an old fashioned and an amaretto sour. Both of those drinks were excellent.”

Howanda is a Riot! We Love her! And those Wings! The Don Sauce Wings gave my Tried and True Honey Mustard Wings a run for it's money which we tried side by side per Howanda's suggestion. This will be our fourth time going back.”

After moving our oldest out of her college dorm we were ready to drive two hours home and wanted to try her favorite restaurant but it was only 3pm and we weren’t hungry. I appreciate all things old school and “how they should be”… This little culinary gem is a prime example of that. It’s like a hippy and a Jewish deli owner got married and started a business and you are the beneficiary of sandwich and soup that achieves “excellent” status! If you eat here and don’t try the potato salad you have made a grave error and I am going to have to question your credibility on all things food or food adjacent. Make good choices and eat this potato salad. Eat it slowly. Shed a tear for yourself, because if this is the first time you are eating it….. you have sorely missed out on something special. You deserve it. I had the New York Deli Classic. Pastrami that has attained the level of mana. That’s all you and your kids, family and weird work friends need to know. If you do not try this sandwich, I will come to your home and let your pets go and dump your neighbors’ trash bins into your yard. You have been told. Do something about it. Eat here or else Fido will be loosed on the neighborhood.”

I tried the basil eggplant with pork. Instead of being a standard brown garlic sauce, it had a slightly different flavor to it, that made it magical. Almost tomato. Maybe tamarind? The other two entrées at our table also disappeared completely. Very nice. Will definitely return as my first choice.”

I think we hit the jackpot with The Winston in Norman!! Everything on the menu sounded fantastic, but settled on the shrimp tacos and drunken ceviche, which were off the chart delicious! Our bartenders Jordan, along with Whitney (not Houston) set the tone for one of the best dinner dates we've had. These two, along with Jacie (hostess/ manager)impressed us with the personal touches to our first visit that we will definitely be back for more of our new favorite 😍 ~ Michelle”

Amy greeted us like we’d been coming there for years. Day one, I ordered the supreme burrito with homemade Verde sauce — huge and full of flavor. My wife got the breakfast quesadilla and still had leftovers. We loved it so much, we came back the next morning. I had the meat lovers omelette, and three cups of their coffee (and I’m not even a coffee guy). Chef Robert nailed it again — especially the fried green tomatoes. This place feels like the kind of diner you linger in, talking with other customers while waiting for your food. If you like big portions, good coffee, and a true small-town vibe, this spot’s a must-try.”

Two of my kiddos have a gluten allergy, and they had two gf cookies left, and the kind lady working suggested each get a bowl with one of the cookies. Perfect solution! She then got them each their own scoop of ice cream from two different new tubs of ice cream in the back to avoid gluten contamination. I didn’t even ask for this! Opting to sit at the bar, we were treated to quick and attentive service, while also being able to catch some sports action on television. The overall atmosphere was lively. To start, we ordered the queso. The flavors were well-balanced, and the cheese was perfectly melted, making it an excellent appetizer choice. As for the main course, I chose the blackened shrimp tacos, and they were very good. The shrimp was cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of seasoning to create a burst of flavors in each bite. I was impressed with this dish and would recommend it to others. My wife opted for the Cali club sandwich with a side of fried okra, and she was pleased with her choice. The sandwich had a delightful combination of flavors. The fried okra added a nice crunchy touch to the meal, and she thoroughly enjoyed the entire plate. For dessert, we indulged in the funnel cake fries, and they were the perfect way to end our meal. The warm, crispy goodness of the funnel cake combined with the sprinkled powdered sugar made for a delicious treat that left us feeling satisfied. The service throughout the evening was commendable. The staff was friendly, attentive, and ensured we had everything we needed to have a pleasant dining experience. Overall, our visit to Louie's Grill & Bar was a success, thanks to the tasty food, welcoming atmosphere, and excellent service. We will certainly be returning to this establishment in the future to try out more of their enticing menu options. If you're around the Brookhaven mall in Norman and are looking for a sports grill with delectable dishes, Louie's is definitely worth a visit.”

Its a clean dive bar/biker bar atmosphere with plenty of free parking in the back, a fantastic bar, 3 well kept pool tables and equipment (free on Mondays), darts, and karaoke on some nights. Come as you are! (I suggest using the entrance behind the bar off of Tecumseh road instead of the Porter entrance)”

I appreciate that the music isn't obscene and I can feel comfortable staying there to eat with my daughter. Just because they are trying to make heaven crowded shouldn't make anyone feel uncomfortable. Nothing is forced on you there unlike all the rainbow images everywhere we go anymore. But we have the option to look away. God understands a bad church experience and he doesn't condone wolves in sheep clothing. Give God a chance, not religion.”

“Hands down the best restaurant on the OU campus. Everything I've had there has been great, and I've tried quite a bit of the menu. Two favorite items are the breakfast burger and the chicken sandwich on toast with provolone and bacon that they just took off the menu (terrible mistake). But the absolute BEST thing on the menu are the chocolate chip cookies. Soft in the middle, crunchy on the outside, they're the PERFECT cookie. Prices are decent, and the service is usually good. The only thing I don't like is that they get impatient if you're not standing right at the counter when you're food is ready, and so if you're not right there they set it aside BEHIND the counter and you have to wait for an employee to hand you your food. Kind of annoying, but not a big deal.”

“When you can’t find a parking spot in the middle of the day, you have know something is good inside! Staff was very impressive -friendly, fresh food, fast service! With the place so full, we were very impressed that even the owner was wiping tables and sweeping floors. Loved the closed circuit TV’s so you could see the kitchen and all doors. The place was very very clean! We moved to Oklahoma this weekend from Chicago and first impression had been awesome!!!”

“I’ve loved Bluebonnet for a long time and have been many times without any issues.
That said, I had a disappointing experience last night. I was turned away at the door because I presented my Oklahoma medical marijuana patient card as my ID.

For the record: under Oklahoma law (37A O.S. §6-102(B)(2)), a government-issued document that shows a photograph and proves someone is 21 or older is legally acceptable for age verification. My OMMA card meets all those criteria. It’s issued by the state, includes my photo, date of birth, and expiration date — exactly what the law requires.

The door guy seemed to enjoy turning people away, which made it worse.
Turning away regular customers over a perfectly legal ID is not only bad business, it’s also just unnecessary. I hate seeing a place I like lose customers over something like this.

We have come before close before I guess there's a difference when you give them your card information because in the past when they closed and they would call and inform us they were closing the registers and ask if they could have the card information I would give it to them and they had no problem with us being there late. He ordered it medium rare, but it was cooked more on the medium side. He said the flavor was good but not as good as some other local restaurants (e.g., Red Rock). He did really love the scalloped potatoes that came on the side. We also had an old fashioned and an amaretto sour. Both of those drinks were excellent.”

I love their pizza so much I got a job here .. the store manager (Chris) is a great teacher and manager, I knew nothing about the pizza making process when I came here but thanks to Chris I do now. The Assistant Manager Crystal is a great teacher and a magnificent co-worker she has lots of good knowledge about the pizza making process especially when it comes to the Godfather. And what can I say about our owner.. he is all about this business he calls Chris to check in throughout the day to make sure things are running smoothly and that we always have our checks. “I order here all the time through the app and pick up my order through drive through. Food is always fast, fresh, accurate, and the employees are very nice. I have also been in the store several times. Store is always incredibly clean. Parking lot and the building is immaculate. Not a ton of seating inside since it is a smaller store. If I had to guess, the store seats 20-25 people.”
