“I’ve always been impressed with the food and service at Vast and its food programs—truly top‑rate. However, it saddens me to share that during yesterday’s Italian Passport Series event at the Mile High Cocktail Lounge, my group felt we were treated like second‑class guests. We were the third group to arrive out of many, yet we were the last to receive our drinks and absolutely the last to receive our food.

At first, I tried to stay optimistic and told my group, “This is only their second of a five‑series program.” Unfortunately, we watched several groups who arrived well after us receive both food and drinks long before we did. You can do the math.“

Her suggestion of the fish and chips was spot on!…..easily the best in Oklahoma (maybe even Texas!). Perfectly crispy, tender, and flavorful.

I ordered the waffle breakfast with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and a side of hash browns. The waffle was fluffy, the meats were well seasoned, and the hash browns were perfectly crispy. Solid comfort food and a place we’d gladly return to.“

I found the staff and guests easy to speak to and met a bunch of nice people.Over several days I sampled all of the offerings on their Old Fashioned menu. And, they were really good.The bartenders are really nice and do a great job.The food is typical small bar type menu.“

“jimmy’s Egg offers consistency. The food is always fresh. The staff for the most part provide excellent service and you can expect management to come around to your table at least once to perform a satisfaction check. You should never wait more than 5 minutes to be seated but it’s usually always quicker and more times than it it’s immediate seating. Tea is always fresh but be warned, the sweet tea is usually Extremely SWEET. It’s a chain restaurant with a local and usually dedicated following. Their breakfast skillets and omelets are the best. Depending on what meal you order, you will typically be offered a variety of bread to choose from.“

“We've only eaten at the location on South Western. It has rapidly become my favorite restaurant. My wife gets the chicken fried steak or chicken fingers. My favorite is the chopped steak with sauteed onions and brown gravy. The sides are good too.“
