“The brewer Ross and bartender Tobi were as welcoming, knowledgeable and passionate as anyone could ever hope - and that is just the start. The craft brews are spectacularly interesting and somehow at the same time there was something to please every palette.

Best of all, our gluten intolerant bellies tolerated ALL of them and trust us, we spent a long time there trying everything and none of us reacted at all!!! We are all very gluten sensitive and feel safe saying Angry Scotsman Brewing does a comprehensive and impressively crafted variety of very safely gluten reduced beers.

They shared their passion for the community and hosting events, creating a cheerful environment for all to enjoy and their love of family and OKC. We received a wealth of information regarding the local food scene, how to support local businesses and what exciting events OKC hosts throughout the year.

We came for the NCAA Women’s College World Series and will be coming back down from New England for the local hospitality and events as well as our support of athletics!

“The Big Friendly may be small in size, but it definitely lives up to its name! We took a little drive around the charming neighborhood before stopping in for a drink, and we’re so glad we did. The vibe is welcoming, the beer selection is great, and the atmosphere is just right for both adults and kids. I tried the Blackberry Blossom and it quickly became a new favorite—delicious and refreshing! The space itself is cozy but offers both indoor and outdoor seating, which gave us the flexibility to find the perfect spot to relax. One of my favorite features was the sweet little room under the stairs filled with kids' books—it’s such a thoughtful touch for families. They also had fun branded merch, including hats and even some items for kids (perfect for beer-loving parents looking for a souvenir). Plus, we scored a few free stickers to add to our growing collection! We also enjoyed the pizza place right next door and loved that there’s a playground just outside—it made for the perfect, low-key afternoon with something for everyone. If you're in the area, The Big Friendly is absolutely worth a visit. Great beer, good vibes, and a spot the whole family can enjoy!“

“Fantastic experience. This has been my favorite brewery in OK for years, and despite living in Tulsa for 30 years and visiting OKC, at least 3 or 4 times a year today was my first time visiting the taproom. You can feel the true passion for the craft through the staff and atmosphere. The setting and patrons are awesome. I will be perfectly fine making this my only go-to brewery in OKC moving forward.“

“The danger in giving a 5 star review is that your favorite spot will become crowded and lose its charm. That said, we often go and are the only couple at the bar which isn’t right for a place this awesome. Great microbrewery with a wonderful space for a group to get together and watch a game on 2 huge tvs. The upstairs space is perfect for a book club or get together with friends when you don’t want to clean your house. They encourage you to bring in food and there are some delicious Britton District eateries on the same block. The brewery is family and dog friendly. Why aren’t you already there?“

“I'll be honest, I never knew this place existed until I was headed down to the Thunder Parade. I was looking for a place to park (which was a nightmare), and I saw a tent set up in the parking lot of Anthem Brewing Co. I rolled down my window and asked the guys in the tent if I could pay to park there. One of the guys said that it was fine if I parked in the grass and not to worry about paying. If I wanted to buy a water or a beer, that would be fine. I don't drink, and I had a water already, so I told them I'd figure something out to pay them back for thier kindness. They were all very nice and couldn't have been more welcoming and kind. I own a small business myself and 90% of our success is being kind and welcoming to all of our patients. It is the same with the folks at Anthem Brewing Co. I can't thank you guys enough for your small act of generosity that day. It made an already good morning that much better! Keep up the good work and positive vibes. It always comes back to you, one way or another.“

I had such a great experience at Bricktown Brewery at Remington Park! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and upbeat — exactly what you want when you're looking to relax and enjoy a good meal.

The real stars of the night were the staff. Managers Andi and Maurice were incredibly attentive and clearly run a tight, guest-focused ship. They both checked in on our table and made sure everything was just right — a small gesture that made a big impression.

Our servers, Janet and Dominic, were absolutely wonderful. Friendly, efficient, and just the right amount of attentive without being overbearing. They had great energy and made the whole experience feel personal and relaxed.

The customer service across the board was truly outstanding. You can tell the team here takes pride in what they do — and it shows. I’ll definitely be back and will be recommending this location to friends and family. Thanks again to the whole crew for a great night out!“

“We eat here often and enjoy it. But this time we ordered to go and our meal included Mac n cheese. There literally was NO pasta in it. I wouldn't think it's supposed to be like this but it was. We didn't eat it. Actually we thought it was cheese sauce. Just a little disappointed.“

“Used to go here all the time when we lived up the road. Food was always great. Went today after they opened and was very disappointed in the food. The gravy on the snitzel was congealed and cold as was the beer chease for the pretzel. Gravy is a sauce, not a jelly. We just took it home and it was even worse when we tried to reheat it. Won't be returning after wasting our money.“
