“This place is pretty awesome. One of those hidden places that turn out to be amazing. The food, drinks, and general atmosphere are awesome. The regulars are super friendly and the bar tenders are amazing at what they do. I got the spring rolls and a paloma. Both were great. And then I finished out with a spicy paloma. If you like spice, that's the jam. I would recommend this place, and I'll be coming back!“

“Kat's Tavern is a true hidden gem. I first heard about it through a local referral, and after a quick Google search, I decided to make the eight-mile drive to check it out. The most curious part? There’s no sign on the building indicating you’ve arrived. At first glance, it resembles a doctor’s office—just a lot of cars parked outside at 6 p.m. on a Saturday. I actually passed it before realizing, thanks to my map, that I had already arrived.

Kat's Tavern is a diamond in the rough. Inside, you'll find a mix of seasoned regulars and a younger crowd—including stunning bartenders Bernice and Caroline, who could easily pass for models. The bar doesn’t serve food, but you can order from local restaurants and have it delivered. The spacious patio is shaded from the evening sun, equipped with circulation fans, TVs, and a welcoming atmosphere.

One detail you can't miss: You can 💯 tell it’s owned by a woman (Kat) because the men’s bathroom is spotless. I didn’t check the women’s, but I’d bet it’s just as pristine.

Kat’s Tavern is small but filled with TVs at every turn. The music sets the mood perfectly—loud enough to enjoy, yet not overpowering conversations. The drink prices are the best I’ve seen in OKC, and unlike many bars in town, there’s no cigarette smoke inside—a huge plus.

Having recently moved to OKC from Dallas, I highly recommend Kat’s Tavern to anyone looking for a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back the next time the Thunder play and I will also become a regular there. It’s clean, inviting, and an all-around great spot.“

Oxtail Mac and cheese, curried shrimp, fire grilled sourdough bread with warm olives. Steaks and Castillos. The braised greens were a table favorite. Luckily we saved room for sourdough bread pudding and it did not disappoint! Celebrate a special occasion, propose to your SO or stop in for lunch and a cocktail. Chef Timothy’s style shines among the locally sourced ingredients! Highly recommended!“

“I love Bourbon and finding small local distilleries. Before I left for OKC I research the OKC Bourbon vibe, which there is only as few in all of OK. Being my Sunday was really the only day I had Woodworks Distilling fit the bill. I was there about an hour after opening and was the lone soul in the place besides the bartender for about 30-45 min. We had great conversations and handful of drinks and tries. I was able to score a bottle to take home to Florida. The vibe and atmosphere if medium dark and cool. I really enjoyed the layout and the Sunday afternoon crowd started to come in. It went from Zero or Hero pretty fast. The Bartenders was getting super busy and doing his very best to keep up. The owner came in out unannounced and start to help out. Then another employee that was off who was there with friends stepped up too. The crew seems to work well together and they are putting out some solid magic brown water. Hats off to good product and I wish you all the best. I'll be back in July or Aug 25.“

Like the emperor’s new clothes, the answer depends on how much you invested in convincing yourself it’s the former . In summary, 0.5 stars. “The bar and restaurant are in the Aloft Hotel in Oklahoma City. The bartender, Megan, at the Wxyz, was fantastic. She was very friendly, service was great, and she went out of her way to assist me. Both the restaurant, Levithate, and the Chef were absolutely wonderful. Some of the best food I have had. I highly recommend choosing that restaurant and bar if you are in town.
