By the time we reached Tulsa, we were ready for dinner and a pint—somewhere comfortable, not a generic hotel restaurant or a national chain. We wanted a place with character, and Kilkenny’s delivered in every way. Irish pubs can be hit or miss—sometimes they feel more like themed set pieces than actual places. But Kilkenny’s felt authentic from the moment we walked in. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the food was excellent, and the pint selection hit the spot. What truly made the experience memorable, though, was the staff. Our server was friendly and attentive, and the manager even came over to chat with us. They made us feel right at home. Before we left, they handed us a Kilkenny’s pint glass to take with us—a small gesture, but it made a big impression. It was the perfect first stop for our journey: a relaxed, genuine local place where we could wind down, eat well, and feel like we’d found something special. If you’re ever in Tulsa—or if you live there—you should definitely stop in. I know we will next time we’re in town. Sláinte!”

I don’t think I’ve ever had better vegan food. The Chef even came by our table and chatted for a while to make sure we loved everything and the entire staff hand made & signed the sweetest Mother’s Day card for my mom. ❤️ They offer their vegan menu May-December and change their menu every month! My wife and I were in town for a concert to celebrate our 13 yr anniversary and we were hungry afterwards and wanted a romantic restaurant and we are glad we chose Bull in the Alley. Atmosphere was great. The pianist played great music. The bartender's were funny and accommodating. Porterhouse steak paired with potato egan was out of this world. Drinks were very delicious and honestly we left with a buzz which is a good thing because we walked afterwards and reminisced about our night and how perfect everything went. Truly a great experience and unforgettable. The aesthetic of the restaurant was very elegant and gave a very personal and romantic atmosphere. With candles lit on the table and seating very close and personal intimate encounter. This is by far the best experience we have encountered especially with something so meaningful to us.”

“This was my first time coming here and I was extremely pleased. I was welcomed the second I walked in the door by the waitress. (Later learned her named was Delaney) and normally the standard is your order at the counter but since I had never been here she had me take a seat and walked me through the menu. The portions are perfect. I only ate half my sandwich (picture to come) and I had their homemade jalapeño bread and man it was delicious. Everyone behind the counter was friendly and they catered to my taste and I built my own. I will be back.. this is a perfect place thats clean friendly welcoming tasteful foods. The prices are affordable and the options are endless! Thank you to Delanely who was the beginning welcoming face that started this wonderful experience!”

As usual "my eyes were bigger than my stomach" and I ordered more food than I could eat right then but I have more than enough for lunch tomorrow lol. The owner enjoys putting up house plants around the dining room which gives it a cozy feel. This time when I was there, nearly every window in the place had very well taken care of shelves of plants in front of them! With the sun shining through them it was quite pleasant. And just like I remembered from when I used to eat here more often, the food was still excellent. I highly recommend!”

I walked up to the bar for my second drink, I stood there for at least 10 minutes patiently visiting with a regular. Not one bartender made eye contact. When one finally acknowledged me, he helped three young women that just walked up. I sat back down with my group at that point. In the bar where I work in you don't get a tip for ignoring a patron. Did I mention that there was only a couple of people sitting at the bar, so no they weren't slammed. No excuse.”

“Went to Outback on Yale Sunday & ordered the French Onion Soup (along with other things) everything was great except the soup. When I gently told the waitress I was done with my soup she could take it away as it just didn't taste right. She did. But shortly thereafter the manager came over asking about the soup, when I explained what I told the waitress and emphasizing it was no big deal not to worry about it the manager practically begged me to let her make it right and make a new bowl. So I consented and I'm so glad I did!! The new bowl of soup came out amazing. We were almost at the end of our meal when they brought it to me but once I tasted it I couldn't stop eating it. So I had planned to take it home but it didn't make into the to go box it was that good. I also appreciated the manager explaining to me she had done some educating with the kitchen staff so it should not happen again. So many time managers do not seem to think mistakes are opportunities for education so I really appreciated that. Deanna? (the manager) and Kelee? (waitress) I think are the names of my waitress and manager they were absolutely fabulous. We will definitely go back again because of the customer service.”

Severely dissatisfied in the quality of the steaks we received tonight. We took some friends out for dinner tonight and it was unanimous that the steak quality was seriously diminished from our previous several experiences. I had heard that there was new management; unsure if this would be the reason, the USDA grade of steak has been decreased. The cook was perfect but when your steak is as tough as a boot, it’s hard to enjoy. 3 out of 9 plates were served as ordered this visit, (majority had no substitutions) there has never been an issue in the past with this either. It’s hard to write this review when all the times I have been there have been superior quality. I hope our next visit will be redemption”

“What is there not to love about Dead Armadillo? I was introduced to this little gem through my rescue (Oklahoma Pet Collective Society) which DA helps support. I admit, I typically hate beer. The only beer drink I’ve EVER actually liked came from DA; it’s their pickle beer (literally so good) mixed with a special Bloody Mary mix. Out of this world. The outside back garden/dog park area is the best in Tulsa. This is a really great little place to just chill and relax and have some fun with friends and family, including the furry members.”

The dining room was cozy, comfortable, quiet and classy. Creme brûlée was also really good. I’m told this is a very busy place on weekends but we were almost alone on a Monday night so it might be best to go early in the week. Highly recommend and look forward to going back.”

However, what really made the night special was the service. Leo, our waiter, was the highlight of our dining experience, which says a lot considering how delicious the food was. He was friendly, helpful, and engaging, made excellent recommendations, and seemed to genuinely love his job. I can't remember the last time I encountered a waiter who displayed so much joy in their work. This isn't a criticism of other waiters, as the job is hard, tedious, and often thankless. Toasted bread, a light smear of mayo and mustard, tomato, bacon, ham , turkey and lettuce held together with sandwich picks and cut into quarters. I shared with my friend so she could sample- we both agree it was delicious and worth the price. She had the bacon, cream cheese and lettuce and pickles- with fruit. Her usual. It was busy and the atmosphere is light and friendly. Today’s dessert choices were chocolate cookie or strawberry cupcake- those come with the meal. They had a rush on meatloaf today- so I will try that next time. Definitely returning/ presently hours are 11-3 Monday through Friday. Summer hours soon.”

This by far was the very best I've had. It was authentic Mexican food. The restaurant was clean and cozy. The server was quick on his feet. Didn't speak a lot of English but as long as I have fingers, I'm able to point and smile. It took about 15 minutes to get the food, but when it came out, it was hot and fresh. The Asada enchiladas were OMG flavorful and the beef was fork tender. This was IMO the best Mexican food I've had in Tulsa. I have nothing to say negative towards this place. We WILL be back.”

Upon arrival, the hostess asked if we were celebrating anything. We told her about the birthday, but that acknowledgment seemed to end right there, with nothing further done throughout the meal. The service was abysmal. It took nearly 10 minutes just to get our drinks and over 20 minutes to receive a wine list after asking for one. Our server disappeared for long stretches, only to be seen standing nearby but not noticing our empty glasses or clearing our plates. Any questions or requests we made seemed to fall on deaf ears. The carvers who brought around the meats were another issue. They barely spoke English, only able to name the meat they were serving without offering any descriptions. Many of the meats were unfamiliar to us, and the lack of explanation left us confused. Despite repeatedly asking for medium-well meat, nearly everything we received was rare, leaving our plates swimming in blood. To top it off, we ordered and paid for four desserts but never heard so much as a "Happy Birthday." It made us wonder why they even bothered asking if we were celebrating in the first place. For a nearly $400 meal, we expected much better. Instead, it was a frustrating and underwhelming experience with poor service, unhelpful staff, and food that didn’t meet our requests. I cannot recommend this location based on our visit.”

“The Honey Butter Croissants. They bring them out hot to the table, and they are legitimately addictive...light, flaky, slightly crisp on the outside, and drenched in a sweet honey glaze. Honestly, they almost justify the trip all on their own. For appetizers, the Wisconsin Cheese Curds were a big hit: hot, gooey cheese with a crunchy batter, paired with a surprisingly good marinara. The salmon and chicken were delicious and flavorful but the ribs fell short. They looked good but were tough.
Service-wise, our host and server were friendly and tried their best despite the place being packed and bustling. Prices are fair for the sheer amount of food you get on the plate, making it a solid, budget-friendly spot for a casual family dinner.
The Verdict: Come for the honey butter croissants and the chicken tenders, stick to the classics, and maybe skip the ribs. It’s reliable comfort food when you're craving a heavy meal, just don't expect fine dining perfection.
