“A friend of mine recommended to give Malinee a try and WOW......was I ever impressed. I went there this mid afternoon for a Take Out order and ordered a number of items.My wife and I had it for early dinner and the food was ever so delicious.Melanie was such a pleasure and bubbly individual with lots of smiles accompanied with her extremely warm welcome.I would absolutely return for many more delicious food to try on going forward.She will certainly be my Go-To favorite Thai Restaurant from now on and I will continue to support local businesses that strive to do the best in their endeavors.Thank-you once again Melanie for your delicious meal you had prepared for us.Cheers.“

Lemongrass coconut chicken soup for me - absolutely delicious! - and 3 eggs with bacon, fries and toast - a hubby pleaser! - made us agree that our first visit to the Claremont Country Restaurant would definitely not be our last ! Owner Bala Nedumaran brought our lunch out and served it with a side order of the most genial conversation you could wish for! If you're out Claremont way, you owe it to yourself to stop by here!“
“Ordered twice now; really enjoyed the green curry and coconut rice. Very rich broth. Pad Thai is a good dish tooI ordered the satay but would recommend chicken as beef seems to be drier.Overall will continue to order as the food is definately worth it“

“Five stars, the flavours are amazing here. Tried the green chicken curry and fried fish with the cashew chicken. You would assume with these high prices you would get a good portion. Half my containers were filled with bamboo shoots or peppers. Spent $60 and barely felt full with two people.“

“Hi we went to Bangrak restaurant for lunch . This place was very highly recommended to us by our neighbours because it was very authentic for them. They love the food and many choices. When we got there just after 12 noon on the blistery cold day it was very cold inside. Place was very small and not very clean . No customers yet we were only one.We ordered from lunch menu and some from the regular one too. We ordered green tea and Tom yom soup to warm up. Soup came fast but it was very little to share between us two .. only 3 shrimps, 2 mushrooms and piece of tomato. It was salty and only one cup for 10$ . I ordered green chicken curry from lunch menu with rice and two spring rolls 15$ it was just ok . My husband got chicken with sticky rice no vegetables with his dish at all 17$ from reg menu. He took some chicken home . .Our bill came to 60$ with tip. Way too expensive for just ok food . I visited ladies room and almost got frost bite. The side doors were open and it was very very cold in the rest rooms. ..when I made the trip to the rest room . I passed by the kitchen and that was not a nice site . My husband payed already and wanted to go...I was going to complain but he does not like to do that... It was very expensive disappitment“
“Update: 5 years later, Karen & her husband are still making incredible Thai food. Prices have remained reasonable and the food quality is still exceptional. They have become takeout-only post COVID.This hole-in-the-wall offers no frills fresh and quality Thai food in a mom &pop atmosphere. Definitely recommend for takeout.“

“On our way back from watching the salmon run in Port Hope, we drove through Oshawa and Whitby, looking for somewhere to have lunch. A lot of places were closed (on Monday) and we were getting really hungry when we passed Thai Delicious. It looked like a good option.The place was nicely decorated, although a bit sparse, and it was very clean. Most tables were available and we made it in time to take advantage of their lunch specials.My companion had the Basil Noodle with Beef and I had the Pad Si Ew with Chicken. Both dishes were served with two spring rolls. The flavours were good, although just a tad oversauced for my preference. The portions were just right for the price of $11.00.This was a good find. “Fantastic. Usually very quick. Friendly and polite staff. Good portions. General Tso is amazing. If they are crazy busy, sometimes the meat will be a bit dry or lacking sauce but still better tasting than most. Highly recommended. If you don't enjoy it, you're the problem.“
